Frida Aasen is modeling a new Alo workout set. In a new social media post, the stunning Nordic model shows off her famous figure – flat abs and all – in a two-piece exercise set. “Going into 2025 rested and recovered 🧘🏼♀️🤍 with all the traveling I do throughout the year, taking the time to fully reset is everything. One of my goals this year is to prioritize this even more 😌 @alo #moveintowellness,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
Pescatarian
ShutterstockFrida is a pescatarian. Falafel is one of her favorite foods. “I don’t eat meat, just fish. I don’t like meat, though; I never did. Growing up, I would sort of push the chicken around when we had dinner and just eat the rice or potatoes,” she told The Daily Front Row.
Coffee
Frida loves coffee. “Starting my day with the essential—morning coffee!” she dished to Vogue Scandinavia. “There’s something about that first sip that gets the adrenaline pumping, readying me for the whirlwind fashion-filled day ahead. It’s my little moment of peace before I dive into the hustle.”
Meditation
Aasen is all about taking a holistic approach to health. “Listen to your body,” she told Fashion Week Daily. “It will show on the outside if you’re not taking care of the inside! Beauty comes from within, and usually, if you have skin problems, there’s a specific reason related to your lifestyle, like stress or diet!” In a recent post, she gets her zen on while meditating. “Tranquil,” she captioned it. Meditation:
“When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress,” says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:
- Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations
- Building skills to manage your stress
- Increasing self-awareness
- Focusing on the present
- Reducing negative emotions
- Increasing imagination and creativity
- Increasing patience and tolerance
- Lowering resting heart rate
- Lowering resting blood pressure
- Improving sleep quality
Spinning
ShutterstockShe also mixes in cycling. “I like SoulCycle, too. I love the hip-hop-themed rides; they’re my favorite. I just did one that was about the evolution of Rihanna. It was incredible,” she said. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.
Pilates
Her go-to workout? “I do Pilates at SLT. It’s so tough!” she told the publication. What makes Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.
