Monalisa is hitting the gym in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the Bigg Boss star shows off her slimmed down figure during an exercise session. “Rehearsal vibes,” she captioned one of the Instagram Stories. How does the Indian actress, 41, approach health and wellness? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. When Her Career Got Busy, She Gained Weight

monalisa.4Monalisa/Instagram

"I was extremely slim when I first entered the industry. I would always maintain myself and regularly go to the gym,” she said, per The Sun. "But I had work commitments and outdoor shoots, for which I had to shoot daily when I was doing Bhojpuri films. I couldn't properly maintain my diet."

2. She Slimmed Down After Leaving Bigg Boss House

Monalisa.3Monalisa/Instagram

After leaving the Bigg Boss house Monalisa lost a whopping 22 pounds. "When I did Bigg Boss 10, I lost 10 kg after coming out of the house. That was superb. I wonder how I lost so much weight,” she said. "It was an experience of a lifetime being in the Bigg Boss house. After doing that reality show, I got a lot of love and became popular all over India. I got name and fame. It was such a happy moment for me."

3. She Works Out with Her Husband

Monalisa lost another 15 pounds by working out with her husband Vikrant. "I did planks, I watched videos on the internet and did cardio for 45 minutes to 1 hour regularly,” she said. "We would workout every day.”

4. She Also Did Yoga and Meditation

Monalisa.2Monalisa/Instagram

"I did yoga, meditation regularly,” she added. Harvard Health explains why you should consider doing yoga. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

5. She Followed a “Strict Diet"

Monalisa.1Monalisa/Instagram

“I followed a strict diet to keep my immunity strong and lose weight also,” she added. One of her main tactics is cooking meals at home. “I am still continuing my diet, and haven't stopped. I feel 70 percent of it is diet and 30 percent exercise."

Lisa Meiswinkel is posing in her gym outfit – and ready to compete. In a new social media post the bodybuilder shows off her amazing body in a two-piece workout set while training in Germany. “Currently exactly 1.4kg above Stage and Las Vegas,” she writes in the caption of the Instagram photo. “Now it's been two weeks since the Olympics and we are still on the road with 2x training a week. We're resting a little more and giving time to the body. Also in the reverse/regeneration we will pay attention to keeping the body fit healthy and also of kfa good as just in the offseason,” which she calls “improvement season,” revealing that she has adapted her training. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Warming Up

What are her top 3 tips and tricks for preparing for training and recovery? “Before training, warm up by cycling for a few minutes and maybe even stretching. If you have tension, you can even roll up your muscles a little with a fascia roller. After training, I sometimes walk on the treadmill for a few minutes to get rid of the lactate from training,” she told Reboots. “Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints,” says Harvard Health. “Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.”

2. Routine

An optimal day looks “structured and organized” for Lisa. “Routines are very important to me and lead to success, I would say. Waking up early in the morning, taking a short morning walk in the fresh air. Then some laptop work. Training, a short nap, and in the evening, my cardio on the spinning bike and mobility exercises,” she says.

3. Sleep and Massage

“Good and sufficient sleep” is also “very important,” Lisa tells Reboots. “This is followed by mobility training, as this also promotes recovery enormously, as well as massages.” According to the Sleep Foundation, getting enough z’s is a mood booster, promotes heart health, regulates blood sugar, improves mental function, restores your immune system, helps relieve stress, and aids in weight loss. According to the Mayo Clinic, studies support the many benefits of getting a regular rub down. These include stress reduction, lessening pain and muscle tightness, increased relaxation, and improved immunity.

4. Pose Training

Lisa Meiswinkel.4Lisa Meiswinkel/Instagram

What does Lisa do in her free time? “I love posing training, whether I'm posing for myself or giving posing lessons to others and being able to pass on my passion. That is absolutely my passion,” she told Reboots.

5. Reverse Dieting

Lisa doesn’t always diet! “When the current competition season is over, I start the reverse diet. I also see this as progress towards reaching my goal. I say yes 365 days a year,” she says.

Louise Redknapp is letting fans see what her live performance dance rehearsals look like. Redknapp, 49, shared a video of herself wearing black pants and a white shirt, going through a routine with her team. “A little look behind the scenes at Mighty Hoopla rehearsals 🤍 been having so much fun putting this show together for you! See you at 6.40pm this Sunday xxx,” she captioned the post. “How does she still look soooo amazing 😍🔥,” a fan commented. Here’s how the British singer stays fit, happy, and full of energy.

1. She Loves Pilates

Redknapp enjoys Pilates workouts on the reformer machine. "I love Pilates on the tower or on the reformer just because it's quick and it feels like a proper workout,” she told HELLO!. “One of my best friends is a pilates instructor so get through the whole hour. I think that's why I love it so much because I just lie there, my legs in straps doing an exercise and we're chatting away so it's lovely, just a nice thing to go and do."

2. Peloton and Love Island

Edina,,Mn/usa,-,January,1,,2020:,Peleton,Retail,Exercise,StoreShutterstock

Redknapp likes to ride her stationary bike while watching TV. “I've got a Peloton at home,” she told HELLO!. “I watch Love Island and go for a bike ride in the lounge, [people] must be looking [at me] like 'what was she doing?' If I've got a night in, I get on the Peloton, bike ride, do a few situps, then I'm done.”

3. Natural Beauty

Redknapp credits her preference for a natural look for her glowing skin. “I think it has something to do with the make-up I wear and the products I put on my skin,” she told Women’s Fitness. “I have always used quite a dewy base on my face which perhaps gives it a slight shine. I prefer a natural look to a full-on face of glam make-up.”

4. Grounded Life

Redknapp says she lives a very grounded life. “I am very aware I have had an amazing life and a great career, which has not come easy and has required a lot of hard work,” she told Women’s Fitness. “As long as I surround myself with the right people, I am OK. My two sons are my absolute world. The media speculate why I am not out there in the papers being photographed dating or with a new man on my arm, but I have not chosen to take that path. My priority is and always will be to be the best mum I can to my kids, who are my pride and joy.”

5. Not a Gym Bunny

Redknapp is not always motivated to work out. “If someone said to me, 'do you want to meet for a drink and a bit of dinner on Tuesday night or go to the gym?' I mean, I'm always going to meet my mate for dinner,” she told HELLO!. “The gym is not at the front of my priorities. I'm not a big gym bunny… I'd love to do yoga but after about three minutes I start thinking about all the other things I should be doing rather than sitting in this position and thinking I haven't got time for this today.”

Rashida Jones is showing off her dance moves – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the Sunny actress flaunts her amazing figure while dancing with John Havic. “Dancing into summer,” she captioned the Instagram video. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Pilates

Jones doesn’t consider herself a "[workout] freak," she told Women's Health. She rarely sticks to a routine. "I'll go through stages when I get really into something; like, I'll start running six times a week," she said. "Right now I'm into pilates three times a week, which is great because it makes me feel strong."

2. Spinning

Jones told Health that she also likes spinning. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis. Why is pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

3. Meditation

Calm,Serene,Sporty,Young,African,American,Ethnic,Woman,Meditate,SitShutterstock

Jones gets wellness inspiration from her mom, Peggy Lipton. "She has always been holistic about beauty — she puts on sunblock, drinks a ton of water, takes care of herself, meditates. I'm less strict, but I do meditate, eat well, work out. And I love being in nature with no mirrors — just trees and a good sweat,” she said. “When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress,” says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:

  • Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations
  • Building skills to manage your stress
  • Increasing self-awareness
  • Focusing on the present
  • Reducing negative emotions
  • Increasing imagination and creativity
  • Increasing patience and tolerance
  • Lowering resting heart rate
  • Lowering resting blood pressure
  • Improving sleep quality

4. Loving the Post Exercise Feel

While Jones hates exercise "more than anything when I am on my way to the gym," she told Health, she tries to think about that post-exercise glow. "I love exercise more than anything as soon as I leave the gym and for the rest of the day," she said.

5. Dancing

Jones revealed to Health that her workout inspiration comes from Fox's So You Think You Can Dance. "Those dancers are ridiculously strong and amazing," she said. "It makes me want to move my body (in a much less graceful way)." Dancing is a great workout for many reasons. Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

Dua Lipa has established herself, very quickly, as one of the biggest pop stars today. After the release of her second album, Future Nostalgia, Lipa has won Grammys, starred in campaigns for Versace and Adidas, and has even appeared in commercials for Truly. Lipa is also known for her incredible figure, which she is not afraid to show off on her Instagram page. Just today she posted a photo of herself in a leather bikini top, looking fierce. Read on to see 7 ways Dua Lia stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bikini Photos!

1. She Does 15-Minute Intervals Daily

In an interview with Vogue, Lipa revealed that she does 15-minute intervals, which include mountain climbers, jumping jacks, and burpees, daily. She says, “It’s high-intensity interval training, but it’s so quick, it’s over before it’s even started!” Lipa says that she experiments with exercises as well. “I’m still trying to see what my boundaries are and how far I can push myself and when I need to rest,” she says.

2. She Loves Boxing

Another of Lipa’s favorite exercises is boxing, and she tries to fit it in when she has time. Lipa told BeautyCrew.com, "I love boxing in my spare time. I like doing it for fitness [and] I like doing it just to kinda clear my mind. I really enjoy it. I like that it's definitely a full body workout. Since starting boxing I've probably been in the best shape ever. It's also a great stress reliever."

3. She Experiments With Workouts When She’s On The Road

Even with touring, traveling, and a busy schedule, Lipa always tries to find time to exercise. Lipa says to Marie Claire that when she travels, she likes to change up her workouts and try new things. “When you're on a tour bus, every day and every place is different, so you never know what you're going to find. That's always one way to keep it interesting."

4. She Treats Herself

Donuts,Decorated,Icing,And,Sprinkles,On,White,Background,Top,ViewShutterstock

Lipa says that while she tries to eat healthy, she doesn’t deprive herself of a treat once in a while. "I try and stay as healthy as possible whenever I can," Lipa told The Urban List."I'm never one to stop myself having treats, I do love naughty treats. But I try and limit it to days when I'm not as busy, because if I do eat a doughnut it usually puts me in a food coma!"

5. She Focuses Her Core

Lipa is known for her incredible abs, and she told The Urban List that she does a lot of core workouts to maintain them. "I think different variations of crunches like bicycle crunches are good. Leg raises are also great unless my back hurts. Planks are good although almost certainly my least favourite!"

6. She Dances During Her Live Performances

2019 American Music Awards - Fixed ShowKevin Winter/Getty Images

Dua Lipa used to get made fun of on social media for her dancing.“There were so many things, especially when you start out, like a video of me dancing and they’re like, ‘Ah well, she has no stage presence’—but they’d never been to one of my shows, they’d never seen me perform. They would take one small snippet and run with it and it would become a whole thing,” she told Attitude. However, when performing songs from her album Future Nostalgia, fans noticed that Lipa’s dancing had improved greatly, and that her choreography had gotten a lot more difficult. Lipa said those nasty comments made her want to work harder and improve her dancing. "It was a tough time. But I’m also so grateful for the experience because I became so much stronger. I became so much more confident after that. Now I know what I’m good at; I know how to be good at what I do; [and] I know how much work it takes to be good at what I do.”

7. She Made A Workout Video To Her Song “Physical”

Dua Lipa’s second single from her album Future Nostalgia is called “Physical.” And she decided to make a workout video for that song, channelling Olivia Newton-John and inspired by ‘80s workout classes. According to a study, high-tempo songs like “Physical” can make working out a lot easier. “We found that listening to high-tempo music while exercising resulted in the highest heart rate and lowest perceived exertion compared with not listening to music," says Professor Luca P. Ardigò of the University of Verona. “This means that the exercise seemed like less effort, but it was more beneficial in terms of enhancing physical fitness.”

Rayna Vallandingham is flashing her washboard abs – in a two-piece exercise set from Alo. In a new social media post the actress flaunts her impressive midsection during a workout at the gym. “dojang diaries,” she captioned the series of snaps. “Magnific! Very very beautiful,” commented one of her followers. “♥️More like diaries of a hottie♥️” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here are her top lifestyle tips.

Be Consistent

Consistency – at the gym and the martial arts studio – is the key to success. "It is a way of life," Rayna says. "It's not only teaching your body movements and being in synchronicity with your body, but also just like the mental aspect of it."

Fight Your Way to a Hot Body

Rayna is a big fan of martial arts. She has been doing taekwondo since she was 2, earning her first black belt at 6. "In the very beginning, my parents put me in the sport because I was just really shy, and I think they could tell that I needed something," says Vallandingham, who lives and trains in Los Angeles. "Immediately, I just loved it. I felt at home, and every single day, instead of watching Dora, I wanted to go to the dojo,” she told Well + Good. Studies confirm that the practice helps with balance, cognitive function, psychological health, weight loss, and physical fitness.

Work on Strength and Flexibility

Rayna recommends prioritizing strength, flexibility, and power. "Of the three, I think strength and flexibility are the top two," Vallandingham says. "We used to have people stand on my legs and force my knees to come down in butterfly stretch," she says. "I have permanent damage to my body—I have tendonitis [because of this]."

Lift Weights

If you want a strong, lean body like Vallandingham, you must lift for it. The star strength trains, focusing on supersets, doing two moves back-to-back that target the same muscle groups to double down on their gains. One of her favorite exercises is a goblet squat. She stands with her feet shoulder-width apart, folded forward until she can slide her palms underneath her soles (you could also hold your ankles or calves), then bends her knees, lowering her butt toward the floor while lifting her chest, coming into a deep squat. She'll bend and extend her legs several times in this position. Then, it's on to the main event, holding a weight in her hands while bending down into a deep squat. "I love utilizing a Bosu ball—they're pretty much in every single gym," she adds.

Stretch

Rayna never skips stretching. She starts by by lying on the floor with her legs up the wall and then allowing them to open out into a side split. "I let gravity do its work because that's my body telling me, okay, this is where we're at," she says. "My hips are opening on their own, and I'm not having to force anything." “Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints,” says Harvard Health. “Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.”

Charli Hawkins is training in the snow – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the Olympian shows off her fantastic figure – including her flat abs – in an exercise set while enjoying the winter weather. “TRAINING IN A WINTER WONDERLAND! ❄️🥶❤️✨Gearing up in this altitude for the LONDON MARATHON this April! I’m so excited to see what my mind and body can make happen! To my marathon runners: it’s your time to shine, PLEASE tell me ALL of your tips, all of your advice, and for all of you who understand what I’m about to attempt, please send your words of encouragement 😂 Also feel free to try to talk me out of this as well thanks👍 We are on the training countdown. Turning a sprinter, jumper, and thrower into a long distance runner 🫣🙌 What do you think my time will be?” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Minfulness and Meditation

Charli practices mindfulness. Before going for a run, she says words of intention. “I am willing. I am grateful. I surrender,” she revealed during an interview with San Diego Magazine. Meditation:

“When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress,” says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:

  • Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations
  • Building skills to manage your stress
  • Increasing self-awareness
  • Focusing on the present
  • Reducing negative emotions
  • Increasing imagination and creativity
  • Increasing patience and tolerance
  • Lowering resting heart rate
  • Lowering resting blood pressure
  • Improving sleep quality

Stretching

She also makes sure to stretch. “If you ever can think of some dynamic stretches: F.A.S.T. ✨🙌 My left hip and right QLs have been SO tight lately so I’m on a journey of getting them right! What’s bugging you at the moment???” she captioned a post.

Here Is The Right Way To Run

During her interview with San Diego, Charli explained how you should be running. “Remember, the sole of the foot is showing right in front of us,” she said, doing a type of high-knee movement. “To do this, you’re over exaggerating your running form while standing still. Raise your knee up, point your toes to the clouds (forming an A), and then pedal the sole of your foot forward before striking your knee down. It’s more complicated than it sounds after 30-plus years of moving a certain way,” the writer explained.

Positive Attitude

In a recent post Charli revealed things she learned about positivity. “Patience is easier when it isn’t required,” she said. “The people around you are BLESSINGS (which I feel like I already understood but sometimes it’s nice to have it emphasized).” Also, “We are up, we are down, but trusting the process sometimes means knowing that it’s all good even when it’s not the best” and “Making a plan is the best option for everything. It’s ok if the plan doesn’t go perfect, but just willy-nilly-ing it is not the best option when you want to get things done.”

Never Giving Up

Charli refuses to give up. “Understand what you want first, and then go for it. Then keep going for it all the time, and, eventually, you’ll get it,” she said during her interview.

Giulia Arena first made waves when she won the 2013 Miss Italia pageant. Since then, she’s become a successful actress, TV host, and model. Arena recently took a trip to the Maldives. She shared a set of photos on Instagram of herself at the beach. In them, Arena is seen in a white swimsuit. She captioned the post, “Native habitat.”

Biking

Giulia enjoys cycling. During her trip to the Maldives Giulia went bike riding. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

Reading

Giulia is also a fan of books. In the Maldives, she took some time to relax and read. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

Snorkeling

Giulia snorkels, recently discovering the “Sea Lung,” she revealed in a post. “It reaches 60cm long with a weight of almost 10kg, and represents the largest medusa of the Mediterranean. I don’t know why, but I have always experienced the charm of Jellyfish: creatures that are essentially simple and yet capable of surviving entire geological epochs floating, light and slow, between the currents. She, remains one of the most beautiful sights of this summer.” Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Coffee

Giulia is a coffee drinker. She especially likes shots of espresso. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise.
