Supermodel Naomi Campbell is only getting fitter and stronger with every year that passes, and generously shares her workouts on social media. Campbell, 53, posted pictures of herself on the mat at a private studio in Dubai, doing stretches and yoga poses while wearing a white workout outfit. “My happy place,” she captioned the post. Campbell has been in the public eye for decades and is an icon in the fashion world—here’s what her diet, fitness, and beauty routine looks like in her 50s.

1. Personal Trainer

Campbell does boxing and strength training workouts with personal trainer Joe Holder. "I've never liked working out before I started working out with Joe," she said in a workout video. "I don't like everything he makes me do, but it's not about liking it. It's about attacking the body in different parts and conditioning."

2. Leg Workout

Campbell’s trainer holder says her Instagram Live workouts are designed to be useful to everyone—like her at-home leg workout. "The lower half of your body has the biggest muscles—your glutes, quads, and hamstrings," he told Vogue. "If you can really concentrate on movement patterns in these areas, it works your body harder while having a circulatory effect that activates the lymphatic system to get rid of cellular waste. It goes a long way and is a good strategy for most people to take since they won't have access to a gym."

3. One Meal a Day

Close-up,Of,Moroccan,Chickpea,Stew,With,Bread,On,A,TexturedShutterstock

Campbell's private chef Sean John says the model typically eats one big meal a day—no dairy, no gluten, no chicken. "I have cooked for her for over ten years," he told Page Six. "She has her own stuff at home, but I prepare one really good meal a day, and it's super clean and really healthy. . . She's an 'ital', which is a Jamaican word for clean vegetarian style, like Bob Marley rasta talk. And when she travels private, I prepare those meals, too. She doesn't eat plane food. She has to have flavor. You can't just put salt and pepper in it. I don't do that anyway, but she knows! There's got to be some spice and herbs. She's all about making it soulful and flavorful."

4. Moisturizing Twice a Day

Dolce & Gabbana - Runway - Spring/Summer 2024 Milan Fashion WeekVictor VIRGILE/Gamma-Rapho via Getty Images

Campbell moisturizes her entire body twice a day, if not more. “I would never do a face lift, so I use tape,” she told Vogue. “I like to put a little shimmer inside my eyes just to look bright and awake and alert. I don’t like too much powder on my face in terms of makeup. I like the skin to be a little bit shiny, but natural oil because I have combination skin. I always, always, always — I think I cream my body at least twice a day, I moisturize my body, it’s something my mom instilled in me as a child—cream my skin! And, think it’s all accessories. All accessories to make yourself feel better and look good.”

5. Beauty Tips

Campbell avoids caffeine and drinks plenty of water. “I don’t do coffee and I’ve never really been into coffee,” she told ELLE. “Every few months I do a cleanse where I drink a certain juice for that period of time... I can’t eat like I used to. I’m more pescatarian than anything now. I try to be careful of what I put in my body.”

Naomi is a wrestler with the WWE. In April, she met up with her friends and fellow wrestlers, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. The three danced on Belair’s TikTok, and Naomi shared the video on Instagram. She captioned the post, “Follow the #wwebig3 on the tik plsssss😝 @jadecargill @biancabelairwwe (@thetrinityfatu @jadecargill @biancabelairwwe tik tok).” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Naomi stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Does Cardio

Neon,Light,Tube,Number,5Shutterstock

Naomi shared some of her workout secrets with Athleisure Magazine. “I just do a lot of cardio,” she says. “I’m not a stickler for any kind of regimen. I just get in there and really do what I want. I don’t really lift heavy with a lot of weight. I do more of a full body workout and lots and lots of cardio. I do at least an hour of cardio the 5 days that I’m on the road and then when I’m home, I’m off.”

2. She Has A Balanced Lifestyle

Naomi tells Atheisure that she believes in balance when it comes to diet and exercise. “If I eat bad, it just means that I have to work harder in the gym and if I eat better, then I don’t have to work as hard. So I just try to always balance things out. For the most part, it’s just eat healthy, a balanced diet. I feel like as long as you’re active and moving, it doesn’t matter. As long as you’re using your body and making it do something, you can feel when you’re working and when it burns. You can feel when you’re tired. I feel like as long as you’re pushing your body to do something, you will be ok! If you're working, your body will work. If you don’t use it, you will lose it.”

3. She Works Out Everywhere

Home,Gym,With,Weight,Rack,,Bench,,Dumbbells,,Resistance,Bands,InShutterstock

Naomi makes sure to stay consistent with her fitness, even when she’s traveling. “I workout everywhere,” she told Athleisure. “My husband and I have talked about getting a gym membership, as when we’re home there are a number of gyms but then when we travel, those gyms may not be in the cities that we are going to! Sometimes we’ll be in the Midwest and there won’t be a LA Fitness, they have Planet Fitness so we get to the town and look up the gym and we just take a day pass. When I’m home, I just train at our home gym in my garage.”

4. She’s Stronger

Naomi tells Madame Noire that being in the WWE has helped her become stronger and overcome challenges. “I think being a woman and being a minority, there definitely have been certain obstacles I think for myself that I’ve had to navigate through or face that others may not understand or have had to deal with. But I think it’s made me who I am and a better performer. I think it has pushed me beyond limits and barriers that I didn’t even think I would be faced with or would be capable of overcoming. It’s been great. And the one thing I will say about the WWE is that I feel like it may not happen when you think it should happen or want it to happen, but we’re given those opportunities no matter who you are. I think the opportunities that I have been able to get and have been given, I’ve been able to capitalize on them and really represent for women and women of my culture. It’s been a blessing.”

5. She Wants To Inspire Others

Naomi tells Athleisure that she wants to use her platform to inspire people. “I used to be very private and protective of my personal life – I mean now with social media and so many opinions, so many critics – I was protective of that. But I also saw the bigger picture, the platform that we were being given and I did want to be able to tell our story as women in the business as well as seeing the other side of us. To see how hard we work, that women can do it and to motivate others. I knew that there would be a different audience that we would be able to connect with and reach out to that we can’t always do with wrestling. That’s why along with speaking with my partner at the time, we decided to go ahead and do it together. It was a package deal, we had to do it together.”

Arabella Chi, star of Love Island, knows a lot about fitness; she even hosts classes online. But she took a break from her busy schedule for a getaway. “Can you tell this is my happy place 💛 🍋 @atzaro_hotel,” she captioned a new swimsuit photo, tagging a luxury hotel in the heart of Ibiza. 1. She Hits the Gym

Arabella said she was “excited” to hit the gym after the lockdowns. “Whether you create your own fitness training program or enlist the help of a personal trainer, your overall exercise plan should include several elements. Aim to incorporate aerobic fitness, strength training, core exercises, balance training, and flexibility and stretching into your exercise plan. It isn't necessary to fit each of these elements into every fitness session, but factoring them into your regular routine can help you promote fitness for life,” says the Mayo Clinic.

2. She Does HIIT

You can work out with Chi virtually on Boux, and she does HIIT. “The concept behind HIIT is to do short bursts of very high-intensity activity interspersed with less-intense activity. A session of HIIT takes about 25 to 30 minutes, which includes a warm-up and a cool-down period. Do that three times a week to meet the recommended aerobic exercise goal,” says the Cleveland Clinic.

3. She Values Consistency

As for resolutions: “People set way too big goals - once January hits we panic and set unrealistic goals for ourselves! Consistency should be a goal, because I feel like people set goals and then lose motivation and just give up. People should say ‘I’m gonna have a consistent year, that's gonna be my goal,” she told Boux Avenue.

4. Fitness is Meditation for Her

“Yes, fitness is a key form of meditation for me and I think everyone needs their own, especially in London which is such a fast-paced city. It's so important to find a sense of calmness and a time where you can just switch off and have you-time,” she said.

5. She’s Aging Gracefully

I have mixed feelings going into my 30’s and I hope the saying your 30’s are the best years of your life is true... but looking back on my 20’s I am so proud at what I have and over the past year.” She added: “'I can honestly say despite being in a global pandemic growth wise it has been my best year yet and I am so lucky I have the people that I do surrounding & supporting me.”

1. She Goes to the Gym

She works out right. “We’re back in the gym heavy! I would say every 6 months I take two weeks off from lifting. Sometimes you just need a break to recharge and chill but then I miss it so much and feel so good to be back at it,” she wrote on Instagram once. "When it comes to” the backside “and legs, we usually work out for an hour and a half to an hour and 45 minutes," Kim’s trailer Melissa Alcantara told Women's Health. "You want to work out efficiently and be smart about it."

2. She Eats Plant-Based

Celebrity Sightings In New York City - October 10, 2021Gotham/GC images via Getty Images

“I eat mostly plant based. No meat anymore,” she told a fan on social media. “Investigators have studied the relationship between plant-based food intake and various ailments in many, many studies. Spoiler alert: Eating more fruits, vegetables and whole grains wins. These are just a few key research findings,” reports the Mayo Clinic.

  • “High cholesterol. Reviewing 11 different studies, researchers concluded that plant-based diets helped people significantly improve both their cholesterol level and weight.
  • High blood pressure. In another study, people who ate more fruit had a lower risk of developing hypertension (high blood pressure). In particular, eating blueberries, apples, pears, raisins and grapes all had a beneficial impact on blood pressure.”

3. She Eats This For Breakfast and Lunch

“Oatmeal and vegan sausage for breakfast, vegan tacos are my fave for lunch!” she told a fan on social media. “Eating oatmeal regularly can have weight management benefits as a half-cup of rolled oats cooked in a cup of water has 165 calories, 4 grams of fiber and 6 grams of protein. The fiber and protein content contribute to feeling full longer and a slower blood glucose release. Oats also are an excellent source of many vitamins and minerals, including magnesium, copper, thiamine and zinc,” reports the Mayo Clinic.

4. She Uses This for Her Psoriasis

Celebrity Sightings In New York City - November 01, 2021Gotham/GC Images

Kim says she has psoriasis. "The disease is something I have learned to live with, but there are still times when I can feel insecure about it—especially on red carpets or at a photo shoot," she writes. "There isn’t a cure for psoriasis, but there are treatments that can help ease the symptoms." She recommends the Clarify Home Light Therapy System. "I love it because it’s a handheld, at-home treatment that syncs with your phone to give you step-by-step instructions and tells you when to do treatments and take progress photos," she writes.

5. She Sprints on the Treadmill

Armenia,,Yerevan:,08,October,2019,Us,Reality,Tv,Star,KimShutterstock

"Been sprinting every day!" she recently wrote on her Instagram Story. "I've been seeing changes!" Here’s a treadmill workout from the Mayo Clinic that also works:

“This is an advanced workout. It is similar to a HIIT (high intensity interval training) style cardio/ strength workout that is completed all on the treadmill. It will take about 25 minutes to complete the workout (plus warm up and cool down). Be sure to grab on to the handles for support. Feel free to adjust treadmill incline and speed as needed. To modify you can do the workout on a flat treadmill and work your way up to an incline. To advance the workout, jog during the ‘1-2 minute walk’. Modify any exercises as needed. Enjoy!”

Warm up: Spend 5-8 mins walking/jogging on the treadmill. Get your body moving and heart rate up! Feel free to stretch out any muscles before starting.

Perform exercise for 2 minutes then walk for 1-2 minutes.

Be sure to grab on to side handles as needed. Adjust incline and speed as needed.

Workout: Set treadmill at 10-13% incline, speed 0.7-1.5. 1. Walking lunges – 2 mins 2. Walk 1-2 mins 3. Duck walks/squatted walk – 2 mins 4. Walk 1-2 mins 5. Sideways walks (one side, stay low in squat position and shuffle sideways) – 2 mins 6. Walk 1-2 mins 7. Sideways walks (other side, stay low in squat position and shuffle sideways) – 2 mins 8. Walk 1-2 mins 9. Military lunges (lunge with a high knee step) – 2 mins 10. Walk 1-2 mins 11. Backward duck walk/backward squatted walk – 2 mins 12. Walk 1-2 mins

Cool down: Walk at a comfortable speed while slowly lowering your incline all the way down. Take 5-10 minutes and stretch after.

I eat in the same philosophy that I live with: joyfully!” "Develop the habit of seeing the positive side of things. You needn't become overly optimistic — after all, bad things do happen. It would be silly to pretend otherwise. But you don't have to let the negatives color your whole outlook on life. Remember that what is right about you almost always is more than what is wrong," says the Mayo Clinic.

Ross is a big fan of the popular Tracy Anderson Method as a way to stay in shape. She tells POPSugar, "I love being in the heat; we work out in a really hot room there, and it really works for me. I love sweating; it's one of the ways that I process everything that goes on during the week and move it through my body. I never get bored."

1. This is Her Wellness Routine

“I won’t lie: I’m a fan of the snooze button, so I like to do a little extra sleeping whenever I can. After I wake up, I do some light stretching just to get myself going and then I like to do affirmations. I think it’s really important to start the day off with positive energy. I usually do all that before my morning skincare, and then it’s off to breakfast! I would say the most important part of my wellness routine is not going straight to my phone in the morning. I like to take my time and really get myself centered before I go into work mode. After breakfast, I shower and then head to the gym for cardio and weights,” she tells W.

2. She Does This for Her Skin

“I have combination skin, and unfortunately am prone to breaking out if I do a lot of appearances in a row or if I’m on tour. It’s super important for me to use products that are soothing. La Mer has an incredible skincare line that really helps keep my skin looking fresh. I’m also a big fan of using a light therapy face mask, which helps to kill bacteria and calms inflammation,” she tells W.

3. Fashion is Self Care

“To indulge and treat myself, I’ve definitely been doing a lot of online shopping. [I've] discovered things I wouldn’t usually buy, but actually work really well, like overall jumpers. I wear them over my button-up shirts, which I never really used to do before, but I’m obsessed with at the moment. I’ve also been indulging myself with a lot of skin care and a lot of self-love in the mirror,” she told the Zoe Report.

4. This is Her Favorite Workout

“There’s an incredible woman that’s from the U.K. — Body By Ciara — and she does live classes. She does about three to four styles of workouts a day. Her body is unbelievable. She’s really kept me going throughout this climate and I do that every day with just a few weights and some resistance bands,” she tells the Zoe Report.

5. She Does Circuit Training

Walpole British Luxury Awards 2021Dave Benett/Getty Images

“I do circuit training. I usually work out for one or two hours, depending on how much time I have,” she previously told Shape. “I do three circuits and repeat that three times. I mostly focus on my thighs and my bum, so I do a lot of squats and weight lifting. And I do one circuit of cardio.”

6. She Feels Content After Working Out

“What I've learned is that you can take your time with training,” Rita told Shape. “You don't have to beat yourself up as long as you get in the workouts that you need. I used to push myself until I felt sick. But I'm approaching it differently now. I enjoy working out. And I like the aftermath—that feeling of contentment.”

7. She Does Yoga

Try it. “Establishing a home yoga practice is a great way to keep your body and mind at ease. Yes, it can sometimes test your patience, and you might not be able to touch the floor during that first — or 15th session. But the beauty of it is if you keep at it, you’ll eventually loosen the tight grip that stress has on your body,” says the Cleveland Clinic.

Mark Wahlberg isn’t slowing down in his 50s—if anything, he’s more shredded than ever. The actor, producer, and fitness enthusiast has built a reputation for his intense workouts and disciplined diet. In a recent TikTok, he gave fans a sneak peek at what’s fueling his muscle gains, from protein-packed meals to superfoods that keep him energized. He Eats Eggs

In his TikTok, Wahlberg is seen enjoying eggs with sausage. According to University Hospitals, eggs have a lot of health benefits. “At 70 calories each, eggs are a stellar protein source and a nutritional powerhouse. When eaten as part of a balanced diet, eggs provide multiple health benefits and are unlikely to pose a risk for heart disease.”

He Eats Salmon

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying salmon. The Mayo Clinic states that salmon has a lot of benefits. “Seafood in general, and salmon in particular, is a good choice for protein in the diet. If you can use salmon in place of a higher fat meat, that's even better. Salmon is probably best known for its omega-3 fatty acids. Called EPA and DHA, these fats may support heart health, brain function and healthy joints.”

He Likes Lemon Juice

A chef squeezing lemon juice on salmon

Wahlberg is seen enjoying lemon juice in his TikTok. St. Vincent’s Medical Center states that lemon is very beneficial. “Weight-loss studies have also noted the effects of lemon. Drinking lemon water, which keeps you hydrated, increases your metabolism. One glass burns at least six calories. It can also help you feel full, making it easier to resist an urge to snack.”

He Likes Olive Oil

Another thing that Wahlberg is seen eating in his TikTok is olive oil. According to The Cleveland Clinic, olive oil has a lot of health benefits. “EVOO contains more than 20 types of polyphenols, a category of plant-based chemical compounds that help protect your heart and reduce inflammation throughout your body. Polyphenols are a type of antioxidant.”

He Gets Enough Protein

Protein is a big part of Wahlberg’s diet. He is not only seen eating high-protein foods like eggs and salmon in his TikTok, but he is also seen eating protein bars and powders. Piedmont states that protein is extremely important. “Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage and skin. In fact, your hair and nails are composed mostly of protein. Your body uses it to build and repair tissue.”

He Eats Blueberries

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying blueberries in his TikTok. The Cleveland Clinic states that blueberries have a lot of benefits. “Because blueberries are high in fiber and lower in sugar when compared to other fruits, they don’t cause your blood sugar to spike. For people with certain health conditions, scientists suspect this positive effect could aid with blood sugar management.”

Ora is also seen using the leg press machine in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic says that this exercise is very beneficial. “The leg press is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work a variety of muscles in the lower body. Specifically, the leg press targets the quadriceps muscles in the front of the thighs, the gluteal muscles in the buttocks, the hamstring muscles in the back of the thighs, and the calves, all in an integrated fashion. Since the leg press works several muscles at once, it's an especially efficient way to strengthen your lower body.”

She Does Pilates

The last workout that Ora is seen doing in her Instagram video is a session on the Pilates reformer. Pilates has a lot of health benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “Pilates is a form of strength training, but it doesn’t look like some of the other strength training exercises you might be familiar with. Pilates focuses more on improving muscle tone than building muscles, but the result is similar: greater stability and endurance. Pilates isn’t going to bulk you up — if anything, it’s designed to cultivate a longer, leaner look. Still, it can lay a strong physical foundation for muscle-building activities — and may even reduce your likelihood of injury.”

For Hewitt, fitness is all about variety. “I try to switch it up a bit,” she told OK! Magazine. “I’ve found that if every week I do something different it tricks my muscles into not getting used to doing any one thing. I’ve been doing pilates, I’ve been doing yoga, I’ve done just plain old walking. I wear 10 pound weights on my ankles while I’m working just so that as I’m moving during the day I’m constantly building muscle. It’s not great for your back but I’m doing it anyway. I do a booty workout thing that I just did for Shape, which was really fun. And I do Zumba. I have DVDs and I dance around like a crazy person in my house.”
