The athlete, fitness coach, and hair transformation expert that has multiple pro wins in her back pocket, Jennifer Ronzitti, works hard to keep her health and wellness in check. “Starting the week off right…and ending the month strong,” she said on her Instagram story, posing in the mirror in her gym gear. What does she do to stay looking so incredible? We did some digging to find out her go-to healthy habits.
1. She fights to be the best version of herself

She constantly works on improving herself. “The hardest battles are oftentimes the ones we fight within ourselves,” she said after struggling with health issues. “To sum it up, my body was experiencing chronic inflammation. My body was fighting itself. The kicker…exercise made my situation progressively worse! The fix? Significantly less training & cardio, better stress management, a crapload more rest, diet variation to name just a few…all the things I wasn’t doing. I was always go go go. I had to surrender my old ways to have any hope of getting my health back to a good place.”
2. She says age is just a number
She knows that age is just a number and it’s about how you feel. “I’ve said it before…and I’ll keep saying it over and over…🗣AGE. IS. JUST. A. NUMBER! I’m 40! Yep, the big 4-0! There is no age limit to fitness. Heck…I feel that being in the fitness industry has kept aging away! I didn’t start weight training until I was 29. I didn’t start competing until I was 30. I hit my very first @mrolympiallc at 33 and placed 5th. I was crowned runner up at 34. Now, at 40, I’m still one of the top 7 competitors in the world,” she said on Instagram.
3. She indulges on occasion
She indulges on occasion, and pizza is one of her splurges. “Pizza my heart ❤️Here’s your sign to get in your jammies, have a pizza party with your girls & take pics. You won’t regret it. We laughed until we cried. The end🍕#pizzaislife #pizzaparty #girlsnight #jenronfit,” she said on Instagram. “Some researchers theorize that the occasional cheat day improves your metabolic rate. The basic idea is that occasionally deviating from an eating plan helps temporarily raise your body’s levels of leptin. Leptin is a hormone that tells you when you’re full. When you’re on a restrictive diet, leptin levels go down to encourage you to eat. In theory, cheat days help override that survival mechanism and prevent you from feeling really hungry while dieting,” she said on Cleveland Clinic.
4. She keeps it simple
She likes to do workouts that are simple, but lead to results. “Simple & effective arm workout. I like workouts that aren’t complicated especially if the gym is busy and it’s hard to get on equipment! I’ll just find a corner and grab a few weights and get to work,” she said on Instagram on a series of video clips of her weight lifting and doing arm workouts.
5. She steps outside her comfort zone
She steps outside of her comfort zone to push herself. “I can’t imagine where I’d be if I let fear get in my way…I was scared to enter a bodybuilding competition. Had I never done it, I’d probably still be in medical sales…miserable. I wouldn’t have spent almost a decade doing something I loved, made a career out of fitness and helping others, traveled the world earning multiple titles, been in magazines, and been 2nd in the WORLD,” she said on Instagram.
