Abby Phillip is vacationing in the tropics – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the CNN news anchor shows off her fit figure in an exercise set while soaking in the sun with her family. “In my favorite part of the world with my favorite people. Always grateful for this incredible life. Thank you God for another year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the Four Seasons Resort Nevis. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Sets Boundries

Phillip enjoys social media but has boundaries. “I’m here for your kids’ pictures. I’m here for the fall adventures. I’m here for the vacation pics,” she told Essence. “I create guardrails. If I consumed it all, I would go crazy. I try to consume social media content that makes me smile as opposed to content that makes me angry or sad. And that’s how I create more balance in my life so that it doesn’t become so overwhelming. I really think that you can care deeply about what happens to this country while also protecting your sense of sanity.”

She Prioritizes Sleep

While Abby juggles work and motherhood, she makes sure to prioritize sleep. She told Essence that she gets home for her own nightly sleep ritual by 11:30 p.m. What are the health benefits of sleep? According to the Sleep Foundation, getting enough z’s is a mood booster, promotes heart health, regulates blood sugar, improves mental function, restores your immune system, helps relieve stress, and aids in weight loss.

Exercise

She also makes sure to exercise. “I’ve also been trying to really carve out time to physically take care of myself because the kind of stamina that you need in order to be a full-time working person, to be a parent, to have that energy, is a lot,” she says. “I’ve realized over time that when I work out or I do some kind of physical activity, it gives me more energy. So I’ve been trying to really invest in myself in that way.”

Self-Care

Phillip also practices self-care. Her concept is working to maintain her peace, staying close to home when she isn’t working, baking (sometimes with her daughter, making floral arrangements, and “living a soft, private life.”

Tennis

Abby plays tennis. In her recent post she hits the court with her daughter. According to ACE Fitness it blends together cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around, and hand-eye coordination. "While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding," they say.

Megan Olivi is a professional reporter. She is known for her coverage of the MMA and The San Diego Padres. Olivi recently shared a carousel post of her favorite 2024 memories on Instagram. In them, she is seen spending time with her loved ones and her dog. Olivi captioned the post, “A few favorite 2024 moments .. too lazy to make a reel 😂 .. more posts to come.”

She Gained Experience In Her Field

Olivi talked about her career and what advice she gives to others in an interview with The Province. “I always tell people that I feel like experience is the biggest thing,” she said. “When people are trying to decide what they want to do, I always tell everyone, ‘Just go where you can intern and that way you know if you like it or not.’ I would have went into the world of politics thinking this is what I want to do forever, probably hating my life and making nothing, but who has the time for that?”

She Works Hard

Olivi makes sure to work hard. She talked about taking a job at Heavy.com and going all in on it to The Province. “I told my family – they were hysterical and then they were supportive – and I was just like, ‘Okay, I’m going to do this’ and I dove in headfirst. If I ever do something, I give it everything and so I was going to give it my everything and it became a real passion, both professionally and personally.”

She Doesn't Put Up With Mistreatment

Olivi encouraged people to not put up with mistreatment, even if it’s at work in her Province interview. “As long as you’re not showing up to work drunk or hungover or with a serious drug problem – if you love horror movies and that’s not okay, that’s not okay. It’s like, ‘Why do you care if I’m drinking or not? Why do you care what I’m doing on my free time? I’m not asking you what you were doing.’ My free time consists of me doing yoga and hanging out with my dog, that’s about it. If that bothers you, we have an issue. And if they tell you that you look ugly with a ponytail, tell them to go **** themselves because that’s not okay.”

She Wants To Make People Comfortable

Olivi shared how she approaches interviews with The Province. “Because I work for the UFC, they know I’m not going to stir the pot with them,” she explained. “I’m not going to bring up things that are going to catch them off guard; that’s not my deal. My deal is we’ve got this incredible platform and everyone on our roster has got a story to tell, so let me give you a safe space so that people that see you in the Octagon know what you’re like when it’s been two months since your fight and you’re just chilling with your family. That’s really important to me.”

She Hikes

Alessandra Ambrosio started 2024 off by hitting the ground running—or more specifically, hitting the treadmill running. The former Victoria’s Secret model shared a video of herself wearing a gray two-piece workout outfit, going through an entire routine including running, kettlebells, resistance bands, and stair climbing. “Welcome to my @technogym. Perfect way to start the new year!!!” she captioned the Instagram post. Here’s what Ambrosio’s health and wellness routine look like at 42.

1. Sea, Sand, and Swimwear

Ambrosio’s perfect day is one spent in nature with her family. “I love being woken up by the sound of the ocean, so anywhere near the sea, especially if my kids are around,” she tells Hello!. “We recently went to Fernando de Noronha. It was magical – there are beautiful ocean views all around you. I’d eat a traditional Brazilian breakfast, fruit, avocado, eggs, fresh juices and coffee. I would change into something comfortable, probably Alo Yoga activewear. After yoga I’d jump in the ocean wearing Gal Floripa swimwear followed by a long walk on the beach in my Pangaia sweats.”

2. Beach Volleyball and Beef

Ambrosio’s favorite foods are grilled picanha and sushi, which she enjoys outdoors. “Lately, I have been researching brands like Bottletop that create sustainable products that look amazing,” she tells Hello!. “When I’m not working, I like to let my skin breathe, so I would use Dr Barbara Sturm Sun Drops for SPF protection, and Beautycounter BB Cream after my morning exercise. Instead of heading somewhere else, I would stay in the same place, so I don’t have to travel – and hopefully all of my friends and family will be there so we can play beach volleyball… Staying by the beach in Fernando de Noronha would be a dream afternoon; there is so much nature to explore and it has the most magical sunsets. In Brazil, nature is a huge part of our lives. We are surrounded by the oceans and the Amazon.”

3. Gratitude and Journaling

Directly,Above,View,Of,Blank,Gratitude,Journal,And,Black,PenShutterstock

Ambrosio’s wellness routine is focused around gratitude. “It’s not easy, but I have my tricks,” she tells Forbes. “I like waking up in the morning, doing my coffee, and then I have my diary next to my bed. It’s a 5-minute diary - like a gratitude book. I just write a little bit about what I expect out of my day, what I’m grateful for, so just to start the day in a positive vibe. I have some things that I know how to calm me down, how to center, and how to be present in the moment that I do.”

4. Weights, Weights, Weights

Ambrosio’s workout includes resistance training and Pilates for a fantastic all-body exercise. She’s also a devotee of the Tracy Anderson method. "I have been working with Tracy [Anderson] for last couple years, and what I love about her classes that it does not feel like exercise," Ambrosio told Bravo. "It's almost like taking a fun dance class that targets all of your muscle groups, and you get amazing results...she also has online classes, so when I travel, I am able to work out in my hotel room."

5. Victoria’s Secret Veteran

Ambrosio is proud of her time as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. “Victoria’s Secret was like a family for me and I learned so much with them and it was a brand that I admired,” she tells Forbes. “It was a school for me of modeling because I was working every day. We got to go to so many different places, so it just really made me really comfortable in front of the camera. I don’t know if I would change anything. I guess everything is about learning and when you’re young - I started with Victoria’s Secret when I was 19, so I was still kind of young, even if I thought I knew everything in the world (laughs). I was learning and if I did mistakes, even the mistakes, I think it counts to learn and not to do it again.”

Danielle Cohn is enjoying her time in Boston in her workout gear. In a new social media post the influencer flaunts her famous curves in a two-piece exercise set, driving her followers wild. “A day in Boston 🍀✨,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Beautiful,” commented one of her followers. “THE BADDEST😍,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Art

Danielle revealed to Playboy that she was “always really into art” starting in school. “I know it’s not like your typical school subject. I love sketch work. So in my free time, whenever I just have some time to myself or just want to call myself down, I’m always sketching that’s like what I love to do,” she said. “I do a lot of spiritual sketches. I draw a lot of tarot cards. I’m a reader myself. So I always kind of like to draw those. I draw a lot of butterflies, too.”

Self-Care

What makes Danielle happiest? “I would say just kind of being at peace with myself. I’m really big about my own happiness and—how do I say this? I really love to do things for myself. I really love being with my friends and family. I always say the small things in life make me the happiest. It doesn’t need to be anything extravagant, just hanging out with a friend at their house or cooking dinner with my friends,” she said.

Volleyball

Danielle enjoys playing volleyball. “Wanna play some beach volleyball?” she captioned an Instagram snap. According to one study, recreational volleyball played with fewer players on a smaller court can be an effective training modality to stimulate decrease in LDL cholesterol and resting HR.

Hot Tub Soaks

Danielle appreciates the health benefits of soaking in a hot tub. If you don’t have access to a hot tub, just take a bath. They have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.

Her Favorite Foods

Danielle’s guilty pleasure? Chocolate. “It can be chocolate ice cream or a chocolate bar. Literally anything. It’s always chocolate. Do you know the brand Dove? I really love that brand. But I can eat something like a Hershey’s bar and be satisfied too. That’s always something that never got old for me,” she told Playboy. She also loves making pasta from scratch. “I’m always making different recipes for my family to try. I just love pasta. That’s my favorite. I also really love making homemade chicken tenders. I’ll make my own sauce from scratch and then fry the chicken tenders myself,” she added.

Georgina Ellenwood is having a good day on the track. In a new social media post the heptathlete opens up about the realities of being an athlete, showing off her amazingly fit figure in workout shorts and a tank. “I think the times my body has impressed me vs disappointed me.. is about equal. The trick is to also take them with equal weight. 💁🏼‍♀️What I’m saying is.. if you’re going to let one bad day define you, then at least let one good day do the same. Today was a good day. I am the world’s greatest athlete in all of existence 😀😀😀😀,” she captioned the Instagram post. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her workout routine.

1. Fueling Up with Food

Georgina fuels her body with healthy food. “Everyday I eat toast with an egg, turkey bacon and coffee for breakfast,” she told Running Magazine. For lunch she might grab “vegetables and dip, almonds and beef jerky or a smoothie,” she adds. “I drink lots of smoothies. I want to make sure I’m never going too long without eating.”

2. Meal Prep

Chicken,And,Rice,Meal,PrepShutterstock

Georgina is also a fan of meal prepping, so she can ensure healthy eating. “I meal prep for dinner too, to save time at the end of a long day,” she told Running Magazine.

3. A Two-Minute Ab Exercise

Georgina attributes her flat abs to a quick but intense workout. “This is a two-minute ab exercise,” Ellenwood told Running Magazine, “but it burns. I think people think they need to do 10 or 20 minutes of abs to really get it, but if you do this two-minute workout three times a week, you’ll definitely get stronger.” The routine features four exercises – a hollow hold, leg flutters, arm raises, and suitcase crunches – each which should be performed for 30 seconds without rest. “People can do something like this for two minutes, no matter how hard it is,” she says.

4. Weight Lifting

Georgina spends a lot of time weight lifting, and has managed to increase her strength over the years. “The same weight, across different years. The weight room has always been intimidating for me. All I wanted to do was run/jump/throw. I never thought I was very strong, and my body had many limits when it came to ‘range’ (don’t even get me started on overhead squats). Since I’ve spent more time in the weight room regaining strength and doing rehab.. my confidence in lifting has become a very lovely byproduct!!!” she captioned a post.

5. Swimming

Georgina spends a lot of time swimming. “New year.. just as crazy! A little dip to start off 2024,” she captioned a post. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
