Journalist, co-host, and author, Gayle King, rocks a swimsuit. “Hard to top @si_swimsuit cover & photo shoot so favorite niece @mknzschwb decided she would duplicate my poses on her own! But we did take at least one new picture in our @swimzip swimsuits 👙👙👙,” she said on a series of photos on Instagram. Here’s how Gayle stays healthy and prioritizes her wellness.
She's Thankful
She spent her Thanksgiving with her family, soaking up the sunshine, swimming, playing pickleball, and appreciating all the quality time. “Family Thanksgiving tradition continues—and I loved every minute! Thank you @rwmayakoba who delivered on every level! Food, fun, and fantastic staff and accommodations. Sending my deposit for next year ☀️🌊⛱️,” she said on Instagram on a series of photos.
She Faces Her Fears
She challenges her fears, facing them head on. “Did you know that the iconic 1932 photo depicting 11 ironworkers lunching on a steel beam, 69 stories high, was taken at Rockefeller Plaza? Now you can recreate the iconic photo by buckling up and going on The Beam, a replica that will ascend you above @topoftherocknyc. If @gayleking can do it, so can you,” re-shared on Instagram, originally posted on @oprahdaily.
Play With Her Grandson
She gets right in the obstacle course, spending time and playing with her grandson. “Another example of the glamorous life! What is happening here? … swipe left to understand …all I can say is @danniirodgers I know exactly how you feel! Hanging with favorite grandson Luca as he lives his best life at his favorite toddler gym,” she said on Instagram as she crawled through the gym with him.
She Travels
She enjoys traveling the world, making memories in new places. “The main goal of our visit to Japan was to see cherry blossoms in full bloom. But as our luck would have it, they haven’t been this late in over ten years. In the beginning of the trip we only saw cherry blossoms in vases at hotels or restaurants....but on the last day we scored!🌸🌸🌸,” she said on Instagram.
She Rests
She gets a good night's sleep. “Anytime I get over 8 hours I'm doing the hula and that happened !... Swipe left this weeks range TWO HOURS plus..to...8 hours.... This is NOT healthy so I'm asking how much sleep do you get,” she asked on Instagram, on pictures showing her sleep score. According to the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, getting enough sleep can help “reduce stress, improve your mood, and get along better with people. Think more clearly, form long-term memories, and do better in school and at work. Make good decisions and avoid injuries,” and more.
