As you can see from her Instagram story, de Regil likes to do squats to keep herself in shape. Allina Health states that squats have a lot of health benefits. “The squat is one of the all-around best exercises to do for your lower body. It strengthens and tones muscles in your thighs, butt and calves and improves posture, balance, flexibility and inner core strength. Squatting also improves bone mineral density to keep your bones strong. Include squats in your exercise routine two to three days a week to reap the benefits from this dynamite move. Rest at least one day to allow muscle recovery.”
2. She Loves Salmon

De Regil shares a lot of her favorite healthy foods on Instagram. In this post, she shared one of her favorite pasta recipes. In it, de Regil included salmon for protein. The Mayo Clinic states that salmon is very healthy. “Seafood in general, and salmon in particular, is a good choice for protein in the diet. If you can use salmon in place of a higher fat meat, that's even better. Salmon is probably best known for its omega-3 fatty acids. Called EPA and DHA, these fats may support heart health, brain function and healthy joints. Most Americans could add more seafood to their diets, and salmon is a good choice. Salmon can be used fresh or canned. If you buy canned salmon, get it packed in spring water instead of oil.”
3. She Loves Spinach

In the previous Instagram post, de Regil is seen including spinach in her pasta dish. Spinach has a lot of health benefits. Corewell Health states, “Rich in iron, spinach plays a central role in energy production. It also contains a high amount of flavonoids that act as anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer agents. The flavonoid nutrients found in spinach also provide antioxidant benefits as well, including vitamin C, vitamin E and vitamin A. Dark, leafy greens like spinach are important for maintaining bone health. The wealth of vitamin K1 provided by spinach prevents cells from breaking down bone. Spinach is also an excellent source of bone supportive nutrients including calcium and magnesium.”
4. She Loves Tomatoes

De Regil is also seen including cherry tomatoes in her pasta recipe. Tomatoes are very healthy for you. The Cleveland Clinic states, “A fruit that’s often mistakenly called (and prepared like) a vegetable, tomatoes offer fiber, vitamin C, potassium, folate and more. And the bright red color of a ripe tomato isn’t just a feast for the eyes. The color comes from lycopene (giving tomatoes their red pigment) and beta-carotene (contributing the orangey glow), two antioxidants responsible for some of the health benefits of tomatoes.”
5. She Loves Bananas
De Regil shared this video on Instagram of what she typically eats in a day. She enjoys making smoothies. In it, she is seen putting a banana. According to The Cleveland Clinic, bananas have a lot of benefits. “With 3 grams (g) of fiber, a banana supplies nearly 10% of what you need in a day, based on a 2,000-calorie daily diet, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) dietary guidelines.”
