Hannah Cook is giving her followers a glimpse of her day – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the Barstool Sports meteorologist shows off her famous figure in a sports bra and leggings after a workout session with her friends. “Day in my life,” she captioned the Instagram clip. “So cuteeee,” commented one of her followers. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Pickleball

Hannah is one of the many people who have hopped on the pickleball wagon. “Pickle anyone?” she captioned a post. According to the Cleveland Clinic, the racquet sport helps improve heart health, enhances muscle and bone strength, increases balance and coordination, boosts brain health, and lengthens lifespan.

2. Golf

Hannah is a golfer. “No place id rather be.. than on the golf course 😍,” she captioned a post. “Sunset golf is superior,” she added in another. A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.

3. Horseback Riding

Hannah enjoys horseback riding. “Going in to the weekend like..,” she captioned a post of herself riding. According to the American Heart Association, riding horses is great for your health. Not only does it boost cardiovascular health, but builds core strength, burns calories, and lowers blood pressure. It is also great for your mental health as it helps relax you.

4. Strength Training

In one of her Instagram videos, Hannah shares her “golf workout,” a resistance training workout. “Happy Tuesday! Let’s do a golf workout 💪🏻🏌🏼‍♀️⛳️ #golfer #fitness #workoutroutine,” she wrote in the caption. She starts by warming up with exercise bands. Then she moves onto the workout, which includes downward dog to toe touches, banded external rotation, dead bugs with a medicine ball, goblet squats, dead bug chest press, single leg bird dog row, v-ups, banded side plank row.

5. Hydration

During her workout video, Hannah hydrates with the help of her white Stanley water bottle. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Monica McNutt, the dynamic ESPN host, is not only a force in sports broadcasting but also a dedicated advocate of fitness and wellness. Through her social media, McNutt shares her workout routines, diet tips, and self-care practices, offering a glimpse into how she stays in top shape while balancing a busy career. From kettlebell workouts to mixing up her fitness regimen, McNutt emphasizes the importance of finding what works best for your body. Her dedication to health extends beyond the gym as she embraces the Whole30 diet and takes time for self-care. Whether it's a tough workout session or celebrating with friends, McNutt’s holistic approach to wellness ensures she lives a balanced, fulfilling life.

1. She Loves Kettlebell Workouts

In a recent Instagram video, wearing cute black workout shorts and a grey and back cropped top, McNutt shows off her impressive kettlebell skills.“Workout thoughts bc summer was incredible,” she wrote. “The bells are still a thing. Missed them & my KB friends, thx for the extra work & extra support.” Kettlebell exercises are popular because you can target a lot of different muscles. “Kettlebell training provides a low-impact, full-body workout that strengthens muscles and improves cardiovascular health,” according to Shape.

2. She Does Whole30

Earlier this year, McNutt shared she was doing the Whole30 program and wrote, “January means the @whole30 tribe taps in. 😂😂 10/10 still recommend even through the craziness of travel.” The Whole30 diet eliminates grains, alcohol, dairy, baked goods, legumes, and added sugar (natural or artificial) to identify food sensitives for 30 days. After 10 days, you slowly reintroduce the eliminated items one at a time to see which foods are problematic to your health. You don’t restrict calorories or monitor food portions. Meals will consist of meat, seafood, fruit, vegetables and healthy fats.

3. She Beleives in Self-Care

“Self-care time is also fitness time,” McNutt said in a video last year where she’s seen doing a variety of movements with a kettlebell, including one-legged rows and lunges with presses. “I’m big on Wellness & know that looks different for everybody,” she wrote. “Personally a good gym session is part of my wellness equation but that doesn’t mean you always love it in midst of it. S/o to @saneetarenee for helping me work off the week on Friday. Make time to take care of yourself, y’all. Be good to you.”

4. She Mixes Up Her Workouts

While McNutt loves kettlebell exercises, she mixes up her routine to work different muscles and prevent her workout from getting stale and having a lesser impact. “2024 I’m obsessed with these squat swings 😤 the power off these into the snatch was crazy,” she wrote in a video of her doing a workout.

5. She Celerates with Friends

The stunning ESPN host looks incredible and showed off her hard work in the gym on a recent girls' trip to the Dominican Republic. There, she was seen having a great time and enjoying friends, which can greatly impact your overall health. According to the Mayo Clinic, “Adults with strong social connections have a reduced risk of many significant health problems, including depression, high blood pressure, and an unhealthy body mass index.”

We've consulted with our team of licensed nutritionists and dietitians to bring you informed recommendations for food products, health aids and nutritional goods to safely and successfully guide you toward making better diet and nutrition choices. We strive to only recommend products that adhere to our philosophy of eating better while still enjoying what you eat.

Kay Adams, known for her NFL coverage and hosting Up & Adams, frequently shares glimpses of her life and fitness routine on Instagram. Recently, she posted a mirror selfie in black workout clothes during a Q&A with fans. In an interview with GQ, Adams revealed that she works out early in the mornings, combining hiking and Pilates to stay active. Whether she's working out, walking, or swimming, Adams stays committed to keeping fit while balancing her passion for live television and NFL coverage.

1. She Works Out In The Morning

Fitness,Girl,Lifting,Dumbbell,In,The,Morning.Shutterstock

In an interview with GQ, Adams talked about her life and career. She says that she works out in the mornings. “I will wake up and do a hike at like 5:30 in the morning. This weekend I might do a hike and a Pilates class. Then I will feel good about all of my time on the couch. During the games, I’m taking notes and feverishly texting my producer. But other than that, I just watch like everybody else. I’m a fan!”

2. She Enjoys Her Job

Adams tells GQ that she’s lucky to be doing a job she loves. “I think every Sunday—every week, every quarter, every minute—is so precious. That’s one of the big lessons as you do this job: the preciousness of the moments in an NFL season. They’re so fleeting. I’ll catch myself on a Tuesday morning saying, ‘Let’s wrap up Week 11.’ Week 11?! My heart skips a beat because I love the NFL, I love football, I love celebrating the game, and it ends too soon! I’m a fan of the extended season and expanded playoffs because I can’t get enough.”

3. She’s Comfortable On Live TV

Adams shared her favorite type of journalism in her GQ interview. “I love live [TV]. I would pick live over anything, any way. I hate taping anything. I think I’m too impatient to want to do something again, or edit. If you do something live, it’s behind you, there’s nothing you can do about it. There’s a real sense of being in the present moment that I don’t shy away from. I’m saying impatient, but maybe I mean lazy. I just don’t want to do anything again. I think it’s always the best the first time. I think I’m always my best the first time. If I’m not, I’ve got another chance to do it 23 hours later.”

4. She Walks

Adams likes to walk to keep herself in shape. She shared these photos of herself walking and enjoying the scenery on vacation on her Instagram. Adams captioned the post, “Wallflower.” Adams also posted this set of photos from the Riviera Maya. In the first one, she is seen walking on a bridge. Lastly, she is seen taking a couple of walks in this reel, and captioned it, “Rancho relaxo.”

5. She Swims

Adams likes to swim to keep herself in shape. She posted this photo on Instagram of herself in a pool in Aspen. Better Health reports that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming is a great recreational activity for people of all ages. Recreational swimming can provide you with a low-impact workout and it's a good way to relax and feel good. Swimming is a great workout because you need to move your whole body against the resistance of the water.”

Cat Osterman is glowing after her run – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the softball star turned ESPN analyst shows off her amazing body in an exercise set after going for a long jog. “This is the happiest face you’ll find after 7 miles,” she captioned the Instagram photo. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Adjusting Her Diet to Her Training

“I counted calories and was very adamant that I continue to pay attention to what I eat,” Osterman explained to Us Magazine. “Since then I’ve gotten a little more lenient. I don’t necessarily count calories as much as I just look ahead to what I need to do that day. If I have all three components of training, then obviously I need to eat a little more, but if I only have pitching and I don’t have lifting or conditioning, then I eat a little bit less or am smarter with what I eat.”

2. Here Is What She Eats in a Day

Cat dished about her diet to Us. “Breakfast can range anywhere from a smoothie to a yogurt parfait, which is yogurt, berries and granola,” she said. “This morning, I had a sweet potato hash that includes sweet potatoes, turkey sausage, peppers onions, and then I put an egg over top of it,” she said. She tries to be “conscious” of what she eats, but sometimes relies on a grab-and-go option for lunch. “Lunch can be anything from a salad to sandwich, occasionally maybe some chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-A. I try to do grilled chicken as much as possible,” she said. “For dinner, we eat pretty well. We cook for the most part. I will substitute zucchini noodles instead of spaghetti noodles or have potatoes or sweet potatoes instead of bread and rice. I’ll put quinoa in there sometimes, I’m pretty conscious about what I eat.”

3. Body Image Issues

Body,Positivity,Or,Negativity,Symbol.,Psychologist,Turns,Cubes,,Changes,WordsShutterstock

“I haven't, I've never, I don't shy away from it, but I've just never really talked about it,” Cat confessed to Burn By Mandy about her body image issues. “I struggled with it, not to the extent that it changed my eating habits or anything. I love food. So some of my body image issues come with the fact that I just have zero willpower when it comes to food. And I know that but you know, growing up I was very skinny. I was a late bloomer, so I was very thin for a really long time. My height didn't so much distract me or be something that I was subconscious of, or whatever.”

4. Basketball

One thing she wasn’t shy about? “I wasn't afraid of my height because I play basketball too. And basketball was my first love. So I knew height was gonna make me good at that,” she said. “Basketball promotes speed, agility, strength, power and endurance. It [has] also been shown to increase flexibility and motor coordination. As a result, basketball is uniquely oriented to improve fundamental motor skills that are shown to be beneficial in promoting general health,” Koco Eaton, M.D., orthopedic surgeon, founder of Eaton Orthopaedics and a former basketball player, tells Nike.

5. Running

In her latest post, Cat explains her recent running achievement. “Twice I’ve attempted 7 miles and come up short on finishing without walking. First time I felt like a massive failure; second time I saw progress,” she said. Today I was only supposed to run 6, but I felt good at 5 and told myself ‘you’re going to do this!’ Lo and behold I did! Finally!! Been a bit since something was such a struggle, but it’s fun to have a challenge! I’m not running 9 min miles like @skylar.wallace but these old legs are going. Conquer something today!”

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

We are committed to bringing you researched, expert-driven content to help you make more informed decisions around food, health, and wellness. We know how important making choices about your overall health is, and we strive to provide you with the best information possible.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Pilates

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
