Anne Luise Freitas, a five-time Olympian and highly successful bodybuilder, recently shared a leg workout video on Instagram. In the post, she emphasizes the importance of proper form, stating, "When you go down to no leg press, for example, you have to execute at all angles...you must recruit at the maximum." Freitas demonstrates her expertise and dedication to building strength with each movement.

1. She Does Leg Presses

Freitas is seen using the leg press machine in her Instagram post. According to The Mayo Clinic, the machine has a lot of benefits. “The leg press is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work a variety of muscles in the lower body. Specifically, the leg press targets the quadriceps muscles in the front of the thighs, the gluteal muscles in the buttocks, the hamstring muscles in the back of the thighs, and the calves, all in an integrated fashion. Since the leg press works several muscles at once, it's an especially efficient way to strengthen your lower body.”

2. She Does Hamstring Curls

Freitas shared some of her favorite leg workouts in this Instagram post. In it, she is seen doing hamstring curls. According to The Mayo Clinic, hamstring curls are very beneficial. “The seated hamstring curl is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work the muscles in the back of the thigh. As the name implies, the seated hamstring curl targets the hamstring muscles here in the back of the thigh. Strong hamstring muscles help to protect your ligaments in the knee.”

3. She Does Squats

Anne Luise Freitas.5Anne Luise Freitas/Instagram

Freitas is also seen doing squats in the previous Instagram video. According to Piedmont, the exercise has a lot of benefits. “Squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

4. She Does Romanian Deadlifts

Freitas shared this video on Instagram of herself doing Romanian Deadlifts. She captioned the post, “Explosive Combined Exercise for glutes and hams! Deadlift is a very complete exercise. It works glutes, quads, hams, in the upper body, lower back, back, abdominals, biceps. And to maximize the result of my goal today, I went straight to the one side Romanian deadlift. To understand this exercise better, it would be between the deadlift and the stiff. Both the stiff and the Romanian deadlift are quad dominant movements, but the difference is in the flexion of the knee. While the stiff, there is no knee movement, the Romanian deadlift, you flex the knee slightly while going down. The focus of this exercise is on the posterior chain, allowing you to develop the hamstrings and hips using lighter weights.”

5. She Uses Weights

Anne Luise Freitas.5Anne Luise Freitas/Instagram

In the previous Instagram post, Freitas is seen using a large dumbbell. She also shares a lot of videos on her page of herself using weights. ACE Fitness reports that using weights is very beneficial. “Using maximal loads for compound (multi-joint) movements like the deadlift, squat-to-shoulder press, bent-over row or chest press can improve intermuscular coordination, which is the ability of many muscles to work together to generate and control high levels of force through multiple joints.”

Lisa Reith is a fitness superstar. Not only does she compete in the IFBB, but she also competes in Ms. Olympia. Reith is also a fitness coach. Last week, she shared her favorite shoulder workouts on Instagram. Reith captioned the post, “Shoulder workout & form check - 5 weeks until Mr. Olympics! 🔥Together with Sascha at the Nice Athletic Club, pushing everything out again. Counting the last weeks - the focus is full! 💪🏽✨It's getting intense - stay tuned to follow the way to the stage! 🏆”

1. She Uses Weights

Reith is seen using weights in her Instagram post. ACE Fitness states that using weights is very beneficial. “Lifting heavy weights elevates levels of anabolic hormones—specifically testosterone, growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)—which are used to repair muscle fibers damaged during exercise. This helps the muscle fibers to become thicker and capable of generating higher levels of force.”

2. She Works Her Shoulders

Lisa Reith.2Lisa Reith/Instagram

In her Instagram post, Reith is seen doing shoulder exercises. The Cleveland Clinic reports that strengthening your shoulders is important. “Your shoulder muscles stabilize your shoulder joint and help you move your arm in many directions. Shoulder muscle injuries are common in people who use their shoulders a lot for overhead motions, such as pitchers or swimmers.”

3. She Does Leg Presses

Reith shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself doing different workouts. One thing she is seen doing is using the leg press machine. The Mayo Clinic reports that the exercise is very beneficial.

4. She Does Leg Extensions

Reith is also seen using the leg extension machine in the previous Instagram post. Asphalt Green states that the exercise has a lot of benefits. “Leg extensions using this exercise machine work your thighs. In fact, that’s basically the only thing that they work. That’s great if you want to build strength and mass quickly. To get started, slide into a sitting position on the machine from the open side.”

5. She Does Crunches

Lisa Reith.5Lisa Reith/Instagram

Reith is also seen doing crunches in her Instagram post. The Mayo Clinic states that the exercise is very beneficial. “The abdominal crunch is one of the most common exercises used to train the abdominal muscles. The abdominal crunch targets the abdominal muscles, which are part of your core muscle group. The stronger your core muscles, the easier it is to do most physical activities and sports.”

Rene Campbell, an IFBB Pro bodybuilder and tattoo artist, is celebrated for her strength and dedication to fitness. Known for her impressive physique and engaging fitness content, she has amassed a large following on Instagram, where she shares her favorite workouts. In a recent post, Campbell showcased her bicep routine using a curl machine, captioning it simply, “Boom.” From lifting weights to mastering pull-ups, Campbell focuses on exercises that build strength and balance in her training. Here’s how she maintains her fitness and continues to dominate in the bodybuilding world.

She Lifts Weights

In her recent post, Campbell is seen using a weighted machine. A lot of the workouts she posts on Instagram are of her lifting weights. These exercises have a lot of health benefits. The Mayo Clinic states, “Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Does Leg Presses

Campbell shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram post. One thing she is seen doing is using the leg press machine. According to Asphalt Green, the leg press machine has a lot of benefits. “The leg press works all of the lower body muscles, but it really emphasizes the quads, hamstrings, and glutes. One of the big benefits of a machine like the leg press is that it can build those larger muscles, and it’s easy to use. There are those who argue this machine is less effective at building overall strength than free weight exercises; the truth is, no matter what you’ll still get stronger while you’re using it. It’s all about you, and where you are on your fitness journey.”

She Does Hamstring Curls

Rene Campbell is seen doing hamstring curls

Rene Campbell/Instagram

Campbell is also seen doing standing hamstring curls in the previous Instagram video. Asphalt Green states that hamstring curls have a lot of benefits. “Hamstring curls are a great way to balance the muscles that you work when you’re doing leg extensions. This exercise is also good for people with sedentary jobs who don’t get a lot of walking in. Even pro cyclists can benefit from using this machine, since biking works the quads so heavily and doesn’t do as much for the hamstrings.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

Rene Campbell is seen doing hip thrusts

Rene Campbell/Instagram

Campbell is also seen doing hip thrusts in her Instagram video. Gymless states that they are a great glute workout. “Strong glutes are not only for aesthetic appeal; they serve a key functional purpose in supporting the posterior chain of muscles around the spine. Hip thrusts are also known for their capacity to develop and define glute muscles, contributing to their popularity on social media. After all, who doesn’t appreciate the look of a well-crafted pair of glutes?”

She Does Pull Ups

Campbell shared this video on Instagram of herself doing back exercises, including pull-ups. According to Asphalt Green, pull-ups have a lot of health benefits. “Pull-ups are a fantastic way to improve upper-body strength. This exercise primarily targets your back and biceps, but involves many stabilizing muscles in your core, arms, and shoulders. Depending on the way you grip the bar, you can even work your chest. Plus, you don’t need any fancy equipment to do a pull-up. Tree branches, scaffolding, and even door frames are all places people can do pull-ups.”

Amanda Tress is a very successful fitness trainer. She recently announced her new 2025 program on Instagram. Tress captioned the post, “Did someone say ADVANCED workouts for 2025?! For those of you who are straight up ATHLETES because you have been crushing the FWTFL for years… we will have an ADVANCED workout track for you starting January 6! It’s about to get 👑🔥🚀”

She Does Burpees

Tress shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. As a part of her 12 Days of Fitmas series, she shared a different workout each day on her page. In this video, Tress is seen doing burpees. The Cleveland Clinic states that burpees have a lot of benefits. “Burpees are brutally efficient as a workout tool, meshing cardio and strength training into an extremely high-intensity package. In seven simple movements, the exercise works your body from top to bottom. It’s a continuous-movement activity that uses the full musculature of your body, says exercise physiologist Griffin Nykor, RKin, CPT.”

She Does Squats

Another exercise Tress did in her 12 Days of Fitmas series is squats. According to Piedmont, squats have a lot of benefits. “Squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back. A squat has more overall benefits than, say, a bicep curl, which strengthens an isolated area.”

She Doesn't't Weigh Herself

In the caption of this Instagram post, Tress revealed that she doesn’t weigh herself or own a scale. “Why I don’t own a scale. I threw away my scale over a decade ago and I don’t often talk about why. I even banned ‘weigh ins’ through the FASTer Way when I first launched it because I feel so strongly that daily weigh-ins are not a good representation of progress and, in fact, can be a de-motivator. Over time, I’ve learned that true wellness isn’t found in numbers on a scale. Instead, I track my health and fitness through things that actually matter to me: 💪🏻Getting stronger in my lifts and seeing muscle definition develop 👕 How my clothes fit and feel ⚡ My daily energy levels 😴 Quality of sleep 🧘♀️ How my body feels - no bloating, moving well. Daily weigh-ins used to be demotivating and didn’t reflect the real progress I was making in strength and overall health. Plus the scale can’t measure confidence, strength, or how great it feels to crush a workout.”

She Does Deadlifts

Tress likes to do deadlifts to keep herself in shape. She is seen doing them in this workout video on Instagram. Tress captioned it, “I tweaked my back doing deadlifts 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 We shall see how this pans out trying to lug 5 kids around this weekend. 😝 I worked around it and still got in a great workout. Comment YES below if you crushed leg day!!!”

She Does Lunges

Tress shared some more of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video with a friend. One exercise she is seen doing in it is lunges. Tress captioned the post, “Comment YES below if you crushed leg day!! Oh my word. My legs are smoked. 🙌🏻👑🎄PS Emma is the best workout buddy and she’s getting so strong.”

Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga.”

She Plays Padel

Sharvari likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself on the court. Playing padel has a lot of health benefits. Everybody Health & Leisure says, “It improves cardiovascular fitness, helps to build strength and endurance, enhances coordination and promotes overall physical and mental well-being. Not to mention, it’s a fantastic way to burn calories.”

She Boxes

Another thing that Sharvari does to keep herself in shape is box. She first picked this up when training for the film, Vedaa. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself punching a bag. Natasa Stankovic isn’t just a content creator—she’s a fitness inspiration. Known for sharing intense workout sessions on Instagram, she keeps her followers motivated with creative exercise challenges and dynamic routines.

In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

She Does Pilates

Stankovic shares a lot of her favorite workouts in an Instagram story highlight. In some of the stories, she is seen doing Pilates exercises on a reformer. Pilates is very beneficial. The Cleveland Clinic says, “One of the reasons Pilates is such a good workout is that it specifically focuses on building core strength.”

She Strength Trains

Stankovic likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She shared this Instagram story of herself using dumbbells. ACE Fitness says that strength training and using weights has a lot of health benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

Kim French in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Real Results" Workout

Learn how she sculpts her powerhouse physique with deadlifts, lunges, squats, and more.

Kim French is more than just a personal trainer—she’s a fitness coach who empowers thousands through her Believe App and Instagram workouts. Known for her structured, effective home training plans, she proves that you don’t need a gym full of heavy weights to build serious strength.

In a recent Instagram post, French shared a glimpse of her at-home training, reminding followers that smart training delivers "REAL results." Rocking a sleek two-piece workout set, she showcased some of her go-to exercises, emphasizing that with the right strategy, anyone can see progress.

So what’s in her routine? From deadlifts to hip thrusts, here’s how French sculpts her powerhouse physique.

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”

She Does Lunges

Another exercise that French is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. NASM says that they are very beneficial. “The lunge is a versatile, simple and effective movement for lower body training. Various positions, planes of motion and speeds can all yield different training adaptations for the exerciser. Lunges are the gift that keeps on giving!”

She Does Squats

French is seen doing squats in her Instagram video. According to The Cleveland Clinic, squats are very beneficial. “Here’s a quick look at the many benefits of squats, also known as bodyweight squats or air squats: Works major muscle groups. Burns calories. Strengthens your core. Improves lower body strength. Enhances stability and balance. Betters your posture.”

She Does Hamstring Curls

French is seen doing hamstring curls in her Instagram post.

She Does Hip Thrusts

French shared this video on Instagram of herself doing hip thrusts. She captioned it, “Hip Thrusts are no doubt one of the best exercises for building your Glutes but of course with any exercise, the form has to be correct for you to see the maximum benefits…✖️ Feet too far forwards will engage your hamstrings more ✖️ Feet too close to you will engage your quads more ✔️ Feet placed so your calves are vertical will engage your glutes more.”
