Bodybuilder, coach, and fitness guru, Collette Evans knows how to adjust and work towards her goals. “This one is for those of you that are 35+ 👵👴From powerlifting to bodybuilding it’s fair to say over the last 10 years I’ve been through many body compositions and trained in different ways. Training in your 20’s is so different to training in your 30’s, especially the last couple of years now I’m in my late 30’s - can you relate,” she asked on Instagram. Here’s how she stays looking strong and fit.


1. She’s proud of her dedication

She’s dedicated and works hard to be a fierce competitor. “The moment hard work and dedication paid off (and I didn’t know where centre stage was 😂😅) - winning my @2brospro_events @npcworldwideofficial world title! 🏆This experience taught me the importance of perseverance, both in the gym and in content creation to promote my personal brand as a sponsored athlete,” she said on Instagram on a video of her flexing on stage.

2. She’s in the zone

She’s mentally ready to push herself in the gym. “The crazy thing is, I’m 11 months into my off season and I only feel like I’m getting going 🚀😁Since competing last year in the worlds & winning the title, life’s taken me on a crazy journey. Focusing on living, getting life experiences in and building my content business has been top of mind,” she said on Instagram on a video of her working out. “Yes I’ve still trained and kept fit and healthy [but] it’s not been my number one and I’m not ashamed to admit it. This week is the first week my enthusiasm is back and I feel mentally ready to push myself to failure in my sets - I think I could be back 🏆🚀 It’s time to grow!”

3. She’s balanced

She now aims for a balanced, fulfilled life that still includes prioritizing her health. “About competing last year… While I loved being back on stage again after 2 years off and im proud of my accomplishments, I’m currently in a place where living more balanced and healthier is of more value. Will I ever step back on stage again? I don’t know. What matters is that we all enjoy the here & now. Thankful to @gazdaviesmedia for capturing this for me & @phoebegoodwin1 @eliteposingacademy_ for helping with my routine,” she said on Instagram.

4. She’s confident

She works to build her confidence, on stage and in life. “Confidence: Embracing Growth in Fitness and Content Creation. Years ago, I found myself standing in front of a camera for the first time as a competitive bodybuilder. I had just started creating content to document my journey. Like many, I was nervous—afraid of judgment, unsure if I was "good enough" to put myself out there. I had to remind myself of one thing: confidence isn’t something you’re born with; it’s something you build,” she said on Instagram.

5. She cares about her mental health

She focuses on her mental wellbeing. “On #worldmentalhealthday make sure you prioritise yourself before anyone or anything else, because without taking care of you there is no happiness, no business and no life worth living. REMEMBER that, no just today but every day 💛🖤💜#worldmentalhealthday #happinessbegins,” she said on Instagram. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, “self-care means taking the time to do things that help you live well and improve both your physical health and mental health. This can help you manage stress, lower your risk of illness, and increase your energy. Even small acts of self-care in your daily life can have a big impact.”
