Ivie Rhein is a very successful bodybuilder. She has reached the top 5 in the Olympics twice. She is also the first Olympia Masters WP Champ. In September, Rhein received her own trading cards, and shared this on Instagram. 1. She Does Squats
Rhein doesn’t skip leg day. She shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video. One exercise that Rhein is seen doing is squats with a weight and machine to support her. She captioned the post, “Back to the garage today!” Squats have a lot of benefits. Allina Health states, “The squat is one of the all-around best exercises to do for your lower body. It strengthens and tones muscles in your thighs, butt and calves and improves posture, balance, flexibility and inner core strength. Squatting also improves bone mineral density to keep your bones strong.”
2. She Does Leg Extensions

Rhein is also seen doing leg extensions in the previous Instagram video. Asphalt Green states that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “These machines provide isolation exercises for your legs. This type of exercise works only one muscle or group of muscles, which means you can build up that part of your body quickly. If you want your thigh muscles to really stand out in those shorts you just bought, the leg extension machine is for you! Leg extensions using this exercise machine work your thighs. 3. She Does Lateral Pulldowns
Rhein also does a lot of back exercises to stay in shape. One of her favorites is the lateral pulldown. She is seen using the machine in this video she posted on Instagram. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”
4. She Works Her Arms
Rhein has amazing arm muscles. Naturally, she does a lot of upper body workouts to keep them in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing tricep lifts with a machine. 5. She Strength Trains
Rhein is seen doing a lot of strength training exercises in all the Instagram links. Strength training has a lot of benefits. The Mayo Clinic states, “By stressing your bones, strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities.”
