Bodybuilder Kim Chizevsky-Nicholls in Two-Piece Workout Gear Takes New Role as "Health Coach"
Kim Chizevsky-Nicholls is launching a health coaching career – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the bodybuilder shares some exciting news while showing off her fantastic physique in a two-piece exercise set. "I absolutely ❤️❤️❤️ my new role as health coach- it's never work when it's something you love and I truly love what I'm doing now – just trying to balance everything!!" she captioned the Instagram photo. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
Walking to the Gym
Kim gets her steps in before her workouts. "Decided to walk to the gym today and it felt sooooo amazing 🤩!! I have been easing "roadwork/walks" back into my routine – missed it so much, but now that I'm getting stronger and feeling better each day – it's been a blessing to be able to do this again," she captioned a recent post.
Low Impact Weight, Lower Body Workouts
Kim recently shifted her approach to exercise, due to her struggle with rheumatoid arthritis. "I have been desperately trying to let go of my 'All In Or Nothing' mentality- because I have come to the painful reality that old school bodybuilding training is no longer an option for me – an EXTREMELY difficult pill to swallow-but it's also a blessing- because it's also teaching me to take care of my body in a different way – a better way for me at this point in my life," she writes in a post. "This is one way I incorporate a low impact, lower body workout with my LOVE – yes you read that correctly- MY ABSOLUTE LOVE FOR THE STEPMILL🥰: *criss cross steps *wide steps *forward lunge steps *rear leg raises *side lunge steps (both sides) – I alternate walking 5 minutes with performing each of these 5 steps for 5 minutes (1 minute for each movement) until I've gone at least 30 minutes. Start at your own pace and work your way up!! Also start on a lower manual setting and work your way up with regard to intensity."
Body Care
Kim stresses the importance of taking care of the skin on her body. "At 56, my 🧬Genetics are a wonderful blessing, but my youthful skin – face & body gets a boost from some of my favorite body skincare rituals," she says. She recommends exfoliation, "in the shower," dry brushing "my entire body to rid the body of dead skin and keep it soft and texture smooth – no crepiness," she adds, moisturizing, "slather it on – morning and night," sunscreen, "drink plenty water/fluids," following "a vitamin regimen & diet rich in antioxidants including A, B-complexes, C, E, D, K for CoQ-10 for starters," and a "few compounds I ❤️ to incorporate are Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen, Niacamide, Green, Black & Matcha Tea – and various Peptides," she says. "There's a lot you can do to keep your skin glowing and beautiful no matter what your age – it's never too late to start -but by starting YOUNG and making it part of your daily routine-will not only take care of your skin, but in turn your skin will take care of you for life."
Red Light Therapy
In a recent post, Kim went over the benefits of red light therapy. "If you want to increase healing energy, reduce wrinkles, soothe acne, or decrease inflammation or you would like to achieve clear smoother visibly younger, looking skin naturally and painlessly, then you've got to try the transformative power of LightStim Red Light therapy bed (The Ferrari of Red Light Therapy)," she wrote.
Meditation
Kim also gets her zen on. "Everyone knows proper nutrition and training are paramount to good health & and great physique – but as a fitness and lifestyle coach – I'm just as concerned with the mental well being of my clients!! I know that maintaining a healthy/positive mental outlook will not only enhance their inner and outer health, but make them happier all around – radiating positivity into all aspects of their lives!! MEDITATION is a key component I have been implementing into my clients' health & fitness journeys – here are some of the benefits: ✨Builds a closer relationship with you & your client; thus enabling you to better help them ✨Allows the client to "purge" negative energy and let in "POSITIVE ENERGY" ✨Helps with mental focus ✨Relieves dangerous stress & anxiety ✨Helps to keep cortisol levels in check ✨Helps give the client a better sense of direction and control ✨Building a positive mental attitude will only enhance inner body and outer body health – leading to a new you that RADIATES FROM THE INSIDE OUT," she wrote in a post. "When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress," says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:
- Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations
- Building skills to manage your stress
- Increasing self-awareness
- Focusing on the present
