Maureen Blanquisco is modeling workout clothes. In a new social media post the IFBB contestant shows off her incredible body in a blue exercise set, driving her followers wild. “To all my baddies out there! This color makes your tan complexion POP,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “So gorgeous 🩷🥰” commented one. “OKKKAAAY SLAAY SLAAY,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Swimming

When Maureen was younger she was a swimmer. “I always loved competing and performing. I usually call it “performing” instead of competing. Swimming was an individual sport. If I wanted to win, it all depended on me. I never liked depending on a team. If we lost because of them, I would get very frustrated,” she told Muscular Development.

2. Gymnastics and Cheerleading

Silver,Pom,Poms,On,White,Background,IsolationShutterstock

She then moved on to gymnastics and cheerleading. “Cheerleading was fine until one time we fell during a stunt, and it wasn’t my fault. I said, I think I work better alone,” this is when she discovered weights. “I started lifting weights at age 18. That’s around the time you want to look and feel good, putting on makeup. I was doing fitness training anyway, so I started to look for something I could do competitively that fit that. I had always wanted to compete in beauty pageants, but at 5 feet tall I was too short. Then I saw the Bikini Olympia on YouTube, and the woman who stuck out to me the most was India Paulino. She was my first idol! I thought it looked so cool. The women looked amazing, and this was the closest thing to a beauty pageant I could do. I thought I could just go compete in the Olympia. I had no idea you have to turn pro first, then qualify, the whole long process. But in my head, I only had one goal, to go to the Olympia.”

3. Here Is How She Preps for Shows

“I started prepping for the Olympia right after the Boston Pro in March, so that was seven months. It was a very chill prep because I was eating clean, but I was eating more than ever in a prep. I was still dieting, but it was more calories, and I did have one cheat meal a week. Now I see this is the best approach for me: a longer prep but with more food,” Maureen said.

4. Her “Breaks” Involve Cardio

When she does go on vacation, she still exercises. “I did go on vacation to Hawaii with my partner the week after the Olympia. That was on my bucket list. I did cardio every day, but I took five days off from weights. I had a couple of treats, but nothing crazy,” she says.

5. She Doesn’t “Gain Too Much” During the Offseason

Marueen avoids overindulging in the off season. “I have a very clear mindset that if I gain too much, it will be a lot harder for me,” she told Muscle & Fitness. “In Bikini, it’s all about condition, and while you could be ‘too’ hard, you certainly can’t be soft, either.”

Pauline Nordin is getting sweaty in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the bodybuilder shows off her incredibly fit figure during an exercise session at the gym. “The lack of heavy looking equipment doesn’t mean the workout feels LIGHT. If it feels TOO LIGHT it does not matter how heavy it is, it’s all relative. But the mind usually stops all development in body, due to fear of reps past 21! The burn starts there, past the “honeymoon” phase of a workout, will you last and keep your passion and love for the game? I will because I keep it INTERESTING and I live to prove myself wrong about myself and to be my BEST PAULINE so I have THE BEST FRIEND IN ME FOR ME in this body life with a 100% guarantee of no fail no flake no let go. That’s the kind of partner I want in my life, someone I know without doubts will BE ALL I NEED AND ALL I WANT. So I’m that! ALL MY LOVE TO YOU ALL! I’ll share the podcast on my story then I will spend my weekend in solitude to meditate and just be happy, but first LEG DAY!!!” she captioned the post. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. How She Discovered Bodybuilding

Pauline discussed her road to bodybuilding to Simply Shredded. She explains that at 17 she was in the “not eating and doing 500 sit-ups a day” routine. “I accidentally bumped into a Muscle & Fitness magazine and saw the fitness model on the cover. I was terrified, she looked CRAZY, but in some way it caught my attention,” she said. “I realized it took dedication, discipline, a lot of exercise and a strict diet. I liked that and felt this was meant for me. I decided to become a pro bodybuilder, went to my first gym and told the trainer I was going to be onstage in 2002 (3 years later) and I needed to get muscular. Said and done, I trained nonstop for 3 years, went on stage and became the ‘Teen National Champ’ three years in a row and runner up in the Senior Division Under 52 kilograms 2 years in a row.”

2. Free Weights

Pauline relies on free weights, “1-8 reps, and old-school compound lifts,” she says. “I don’t have a set routine, but I am always including the compound basic movements like squats, presses, free weight rows, pull-ups. I don’t keep track anymore about sets and reps, I used to do it for a decade and then called it a day. As soon as I write up a routine I get the urge not to follow it so that’s why I improvise and go with what I have mentally prepared for myself the hour before.”

3. Cardio

Woman,Runner,In,Silhouette,On,White,Background.,Dynamic,Movement.,SideShutterstock

Pauline also does cardio. “I also do cardio 6 days a week. I alternate between short intense sessions (20 min) @ 85-90% MHR and slower ones at 70% MHR,” she says.

4. Her 3 Favorite Exercise

Here are Pauline’s 3 favorite exercises:

  1. Deadlifts: “Because they shape the whole body,” she says.
  2. Shoulder Presses: “Because they give the illusion of broader shoulders and a smaller waist,” she explains.
  3. Bent Over Barbell Rows: “The king of upper body muscularity,” she says.

5. Here Is What She Eats in a Day

“I super emphasize on veggies, I don’t eat grains except for wheat bran on ‘plan A’ days which is a ‘Veggie/Protein/EFA’ diet. On plan B days I refeed which means about 100-300% more calories and almost all carbs from oats, rice, pumpkin, jello pudding etc. I use lots of BCAAs and fish oil supplements in my diet as well. I am an AST sports science athlete and use their products and I follow my own diet concept: FIGHTER DIET!” Pauline says.

  • "Meal 1: Wheat bran, Whole flax cooked to Porridge, added vanilla Vp2, Cinnamon, Truvia
  • Meal 2: Egg whites, CLA & Fish oil
  • Meal 3: Egg whites
  • Meal 4: Pre workout shake with BCAA’s, Glutamine & Beta-alanine
  • Meal 5: Vp2 shake with BCAA’s, Glutamine, NAC
  • Meal 6: Veggies, Chicken or Egg whites or Pink salmon, some Shirataki noodles & mustard
  • Meal 7: Chocolate protein powder with cocoa powder and coconut shreds plus stevia to sweeten it"

Tanya Poppett is a very successful fitness trainer. She has a large following on social media. Poppet recently shared some of her favorite upper body workouts on Instagram. She captioned a video, “What my UPPER sessions in the gym look like 👇I’ve been doing an Upper/ Lower split for the past few months now. This is a typical upper body session for me - mixing in some ‘power’ based moves with my strength sets and finishing with accessories.”

1. She Does Chin Ups

In her Instagram post, Poppett is seen doing chin-ups. These are very effective. ACE Fitness reports, “Chin-ups can help improve grip strength, posture and appearance, while also helping to strengthen muscles that stabilize the spine. This, in turn, can help reduce one’s risk of back pain and injury. Even if a client is only able to do one or two chin-ups at a time, this exercise offers tremendous benefits, especially for the back, shoulders, forearms and biceps.”

2. She Strength Trains

Tanya Poppett.2Tanya Poppett/Instagram

Poppett likes to do strength training workouts to stay fit. She is seen using landmines and weighted balls in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training exercises are very beneficial. “By stressing your bones, strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories.”

3. She Does Pulldowns

Tanya Poppett.3Tanya Poppett/Instagram

Poppett is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that these exercises can be very beneficial. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

4. She Does Bodyweight Workouts

Poppett likes to do bodyweight workouts when she can’t get to the gym. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them, captioning it, “BODYWEIGHT AND HARD 🥵I’m back in a home workout phase at the moment. I can usually only get to the gym on the days Maple is at preschool… so twice a week. Otherwise it’s home workouts while she naps 💪I’m using it as an opportunity to work on things like my bodyweight strength, plyometrics and running. Then when I get to the gym I go HARD and HEAVY!”

5. She Does Core Workouts

Poppett has an amazing core. She revealed some of her favorite ab workouts in this Instagram video, captioning it, “COMPLETE CORE SET 💪With just an exercise ball 👌 Thank you to child birth for reminding me how handy these things can be 😄Added in this core set after my steady state cardio on the weekend. It focuses on rotation, anti extension, anti-flexion, lateral stability and anti-rotation for an all round core challenge.”

1. She Wants To Break Records

Pope is always pushing herself to do better. One thing she wants to do is break records. Pope talked about this in the caption of this weightlifting Instagram video. “To break the masters American Record - it would take getting back to my all time best snatch. Might take a very long time lol but do you think I could do it? 😂🤔@dynamicpursuit. I have training plans for all strength sports!! You can do the Weightlifting track and train with me. 🤗 Check out the details linked in my bio!”

2. She Focuses On Herself

Pope makes sure to focus on herself. Specifically, she focuses on things that she can control. Entering a ‘fxck your feelings’ era these next few weeks. Focus on what you can control. Do what you can, and do it well. #dymamicpursuit. Come train with me! New workouts release on Sunday for my bodybuilding program 🔥 details in bio.”

3. She Lifts Weights

Kristin Pope.3Kristin Pope/Instagram

In the first blurb’s Instagram video, Pope is seen lifting weights. She is also seen strength training in the previous link. ACE Fitness states that strength training and using weights has a lot of benefits. “Lifting heavy weights elevates levels of anabolic hormones—specifically testosterone, growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)—which are used to repair muscle fibers damaged during exercise. This helps the muscle fibers to become thicker and capable of generating higher levels of force.”

4. She Does Pulldowns

Pope shared this video on Instagram of herself doing different workouts in the gym. One thing she is seen doing is pulldowns. Piedmont states that doing these can be very beneficial. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. 5. She Uses A Rowing Machine

In the previous blurb’s Instagram post, Pope is seen using a rowing machine. Piedmont reports that this is very beneficial. “Treadmills and elliptical machines get all the attention, but the rowing machine can give you one of the most efficient, effective workouts at the gym. Rowing not only torches major calories, it also tones the entire body.”

Betty Pariso, a renowned fitness expert and bodybuilder, has cultivated a dedicated Instagram following by sharing her approach to health, fitness, and life balance. Recently, she posted a fun video of herself fueling up her unique motorcycle and heading off for a scenic ride, showcasing her adventurous spirit. Beyond the gym, Betty emphasizes the importance of quality time, balance, and unwinding on vacations, where she prefers enjoying sunrises over rigorous workouts. Her feed often features dynamic workouts, from weightlifting to swimming, and even special mother-daughter training sessions with her business partner and daughter. Pariso’s balanced philosophy demonstrates that even high-level fitness athletes can prioritize both physical discipline and the joy of life’s everyday moments.

1. She Takes Breaks

Pariso works out on a consistent basis. However, she doesn’t like to work super hard when she’s on vacation. Pariso revealed in this Instagram post that she only does a couple of push-ups on vacation. She captioned the post, “If I waste 1 hour in the gym on vacation, I am missing the moment. I do not live for the gym, the gym allows me to live for the moments. But I could get up and train early...nope, I would rather get up, walk the beach and watch the beautiful sunrise. I never train on a vacation that is 5 days or shorter. I need the break from little injuries that can turn into something bigger and sideline my training. But more importantly, I am here to get away from training, enjoy my surroundings, and enjoy the food. I want my vacations to be completely different from my disciplined, structured life.”

2. She Works Out With Her Daughter

Pariso owns her company with her daughter, and the two like to train together. She shared this video on Instagramof the two of them doing so. Pariso captioned it, “Thank you @lacyecarmichael. We occasionally get to train together, but how many Moms get to own a company with their daughter and design it together from the ground up. She killed it for 5 weeks. This is her work, and I am so proud 👉 @wbbfederation ❤️❤️❤️”

3. She Lifts Weights

Pariso likes to lift weights to stay in shape. She shares a lot of workout videos on Instagram of herself doing so. In this video, Pariso is seen doing shoulder lifts with hand dumbbells and pulling a rope. She captioned the video, “Today was one of those days I did 50 minutes of almost non-stop training using supersets on everything.”

4. She Does Pulldowns

Pariso likes to do lateral pulldowns to stay in shape. She is seen doing them in this Instagram video. Piedmont states that this exercise has a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

5. She Swims

Pariso likes to swim to stay in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself floating in a pool. Better Health states that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming is a great workout because you need to move your whole body against the resistance of the water. Swimming is a good all-round activity because it: keeps your heart rate up but takes some of the impact stress off your body, builds endurance, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness, helps you maintain a healthy weight, healthy heart and lungs, tones muscles and builds strength, provides an all-over body workout, as nearly all of your muscles are used during swimming.”

She's Less Strict With Her Diet

Kristin shares a Zucchini Almond Butter Blondies recipe

Kristin Cavallari/Instagram

Cavallari has written several cookbooks, and they have changed as her diet has changed. While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

She Loves Cauliflower

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

She Loves Salad

Krisitn Cavallari/Instagram

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”

Rebeca Andrade is an Olympic gymnast. She is the most decorated Olympic athlete from Brazil, having won two gold medals, three silvers, and a bronze. Andrade recently shared some highlights of her native Brazil on Instagram. In some of them, she posed in a swimsuit while wading. Andrade captioned the post, “SC-&-RS🏕️🌅❤️ Being free is a paradox. It's committing to the life you want, without running away from the work that it entails. It's building freedom every day, with conscious choices and, mainly, with the acceptance that freedom is not the absence of limits, but the autonomy to know which ones are worth it and which ones are not. Being free is being willing to carry the weight of your own life and still find it funny.”

She Swims

In her Instagram post, Andrade is seen swimming. The Cleveland Clinic says that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

She Does Gymnastics

Gymnastics is the main way Andrade stays in shape. British Gymnastics states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “When you take part in gymnastics, or any sport for that matter, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These also help to trigger a positive feeling in the body which can have a positive impact on your happiness and mental wellbeing. This can help to combat feelings of anxiety and depression.”

She Prioritizes Safety

Andrade talked about her training approach in an interview with the Olympics website. She says that she and her coach prioritize her safety, and that she will skip floor sessions if she isn’t able to do it. "I talk a lot with my coach and we trust in each other. We always try to be really safe, and do floor in the correct moments. He believes in me. I'm never going to lie to not do it. So, when I really tell him that I can't do it, it's because I cannot and he always respects that.”

She Sets Goals

In her Olympics website interview, Andrade talked about her commitment and goal setting. Specifically, she talked about her goal to make the Olympic team. “The other [goal], which is the main one, is for us to qualify as a team,” Andrade said. “I think it will be very important for me, for my team, and the focus is on that, whatever happens there, the result is a consequence of our work, of our commitment. But I really want to be there with my team and be happy and healthy.”

She Cooks

Andrade makes sure to eat healthy. She also likes to cook a lot of her own meals. She shared some of her favorite things to make in an interview with NPR. “There was one that was with potatoes and cheese, chicken. There’s cake. There’s cookies. A lot of things.”

Brandi Glanville has never been one to hold back, whether on reality TV or her unfiltered podcast. Best known for her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the US and UK versions of Celebrity Big Brother, and The Traitors, Glanville always speaks her mind. Her podcast, Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, recently stirred up some drama when she called out Real Housewives stars for struggling on The Traitors and suggested the show stop casting them. Many fans saw this as subtle shade toward Phaedra Parks, who excelled in the previous season.

Beyond the headlines, Glanville has shared glimpses into her personal wellness routine, from skincare secrets to unconventional self-care methods. Here’s a look at how she stays feeling and looking her best.

She Uses Eye Patches

One thing that Glanville does to take care of her skin is use under-eye patches. In this Instagram post, she revealed the brand she used on Celebrity Big Brother. Glanville captioned it, “One of the #1 questions we get from fans since leaving #bigbrother is what brand of under eye patches were we wearing constantly on the show...The answer is @peterthomasrothofficial!! They are amaze! #ThanksMarissa 💋 (Blogging about all the products, will be posting on @bbeautyunfltrd soon).”

She Walks

Brandi is seen walking her dog

Brandi Glanville/Instagram

Glanville likes to walk her dogs to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her pup walking in Los Angeles. Glanville captioned the post, “On our way to do some podcasting.” Harvard Health says that walking is very beneficial. “Walking can help protect you during cold and flu season. A study of over 1,000 men and women found that those who walked at least 20 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week, had 43% fewer sick days than those who exercised once a week or less. And if they did get sick, it was for a shorter duration, and their symptoms were milder.”

She Has A Dog

As you can see from the previous Instagram post, Glanville has pet dogs. And according to Harvard Health, this can be beneficial. “A growing body of solid research shows that owning a dog can: provide companionship, help you be more active, make kids calmer, more secure, and more responsible, improve the lives of older individuals, help you be calmer, more mindful, and more present in your life, make you more social and less isolated, ease stress.”

She Worked With A Breath Coach

Glanville revealed to Us Weekly that she works with a breath coach to help with her mental health. “I’m still doing cosmetic stuff, but at the same time trying to fix myself. I eat better and breathe and actually exercise. I’m getting there. I just started with this journey, but I can actually do things. My body can do things now that I couldn’t do five years ago.”

She Uses CellSound

Glanville revealed to People that she used the CellSound treatment on her stomach. "I mean, to be honest, I haven't worn a crop top in years, and I literally feel comfortable going out in a crop top, which is so bizarre," she says. "Not that I feel like everyone should do that, but I can go work out with a crop top on and not feel like I have my mommy stomach and I shouldn't sit down. So it's definitely empowered me in that aspect."
