Trish Warren is a well-known bodybuilder with a large social media following. She shares workout videos and content with her family, inspiring others on their fitness journeys. In August, she announced on Instagram her return to working out after a break to focus on her newborn son, Morgan. Warren expressed her eagerness to get back in shape, sharing that she would be posting progress updates as she rebuilds her fitness.
1. She Lifts Weights
Warren shared some of her favorite workouts in this Instagram video. In it, she is seen using weights. Warren is seen using a landmine, a pulldown machine and a barbell. Using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. According to ACE Fitness, “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”
2. She Does Pulldowns

In the previous blurb’s Instagram post, Warren is seen doing pulldowns. These are a great back exercise. According to Piedmont, “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”
3. She Does Squats
Warren makes sure to work her lower body. She shared some of her favorite workouts in this Instagram video. One thing she is seen doing is squats with a weight. Squats are a great workout, The Cleveland Clinic states, “Squats target and strengthen your thighs, hips and butt. Why does that matter? A strong lower body is important for athletes, yes, but not just for athletes. Your lower body fuels your ability to walk, run, jump … everything, really. It also generates power for upper-body movements and all kinds of other activities.”
4. She Does Leg Extensions

Warren is also seen using the leg extension machine in the previous Instagram blurb. These are a great lower body workout. Asphalt Green states, “Leg extensions using this exercise machine work your thighs. In fact, that’s basically the only thing that they work. That’s great if you want to build strength and mass quickly. To get started, slide into a sitting position on the machine from the open side.”
5. She’s Consistent
Naturally, Warren is consistent when it comes to working out. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “It’s not a sprint it’s a MARATHON!!!! Day after day, month after month, and year after year!!! Slow and steady progress is how I’ve managed to maintain a realistic healthy physique.
