Bodybuilder Zoa Linsey-Kumzak in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Fitness Motivation"

"Don’t worry workouts are always on."

Zoa Linsey-Kumzak is working on her legs in her exercise clothes. In a new social media post the bodybuilder shares an update with her followers during a sweat session at the gym. “Thought I’d better post to let y’all know I’m still here. Just been busy! Don’t worry workouts are always on,” she captioned the Instagram post, adding the hashtag “fitness motivation.” How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. How Her Diet Shifts with Her Workouts

Whey,Protein,Powder,With,Shaker,For,MixingShutterstock

Zoa modifies her diet for her workout goals. "In the off-season I might decide to take advantage of the extra work load I just lifted, and have a cheat meal, or a larger post-workout meal after a leg day. However, more frequently, I will utilize the principles of specific nutrient timing and will add a post-workout shake containing a balanced amount of fast acting carbs and protein immediately following my workout, with a solid meal shortly thereafter. I do a lot of volume training and often my leg day workouts may last longer than 1 hour so I will also sip on a carbohydrate drink during my workout. Of course all this shifts when I am on a more restricted diet during ‘cutting' season and carbohydrates are typically lowered somewhat,” she told RXMuscle.

2. Her Pre-and Post-Workout Eating Strategy

"My nutritional strategy is simple. Eat every 2.5 hours with a balanced meal of carbohydrates, protein and healthy fats,” says Zoa. “I eat 6-7 meals throughout the day, depending on how long my day is. I will typically keep carbs in all these meals right up to the last week of the show; however the portions of carbs get smaller as the protein portion stays high. I eat mostly whole foods and limit the amount of shakes I use and try to pick a wide variety of nutritional sources. As I said I will take in a post-workout high-glycemic carb/protein shake immediately following the workout, but from there it is whole foods."

3. Stretching

Zoa understands the importance of stretching. “I received the BEST STRETCH, I could feel my circulation improve, I felt lighter and more able to move. And that’s just one session! I highly recommend adding this to your self-care,” she writes in a post

4. Minimal Cardio

"If I can help it I don't do cardio in the off-season. Occasional low-intensity cardio is valuable to keep the heart healthy and energy levels high, however too frequently and you run the risk of tiring out and having your workouts suffer,” says Zoa. Again this is very individual and also depends on your genetics, diet and training intensity while in the weight room. For me, I train my legs very intensely and find that too much cardio makes me weaker and less able to handle the volume I like on leg day. I don't necessarily believe that cardio itself holds back growth, but under-eating and over-training will cumulatively lower your body's ability to recover and put on those extra pounds of muscle you want in the off-season."

5. She Loves Training Legs

"Definitely legs are one of my favorite body-parts,” to train, says Zoa. “However of course it is sometimes a ‘love-hate’ relationship! Leg workouts are some of the most brutal workouts you can put yourself through, but the most gratifying in the sense of that when you leave the gym you KNOW whether you put it all out on the line or not. However, the longer I train and the more dense my muscle has become it has become easier and easier to get that same feeling of intensity on most of my other body parts. It's all about your ability to focus in on that muscle and push it to the extreme."

Ashlyn Little is a professional bodybuilder. She competes in the IFBB. Last month, she hit the gym, and shared a stunning post on Instagram. In it, Little showed off her figure as she posed in workout clothes. She also did squats with a machine. She captioned the post, “Just a small girl with a ant 🐜 booty hard at work 👀😂”

She Works Hard

Little talked about the importance of working hard in the caption of this Instagram post. “This shape wasn’t built in a month or a few months or a year or a few years. BUT 10 YEARS… 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 my shape has never looked like this and I started my fitness journey in 2014 😳 When I started I never put a time line on how long until I achieved a certain physique. I just told myself as long as I’m able to go to the gym and train and eat healthy that’s what I decided I was going to do. I never turned back and I never got upset for how long it took cause I knew the muscle would come eventually as long as I kept going. Here we are now 10 years later and am I happy with my progress and what I see? YES!! But I’m never satisfied and for that I keep working 😤 Each year I get a little bit better and I learn a lot more! There is NO time line for me. I just love building my physique and I love this lifestyle so for all I care the growth can be slow or fast.”

She Has Support

Little has a lot of support that helps keep her in shape. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Hardest thing in prep for me is prep goggles hands down. Seeing one thing when others see something completely different. Constantly thinking ‘am I even going to be good enough?’ During these moments I always lean on my support system to keep my eyes and mind in check. The best advice I can give is to take the thinking out of it completely & never compare yourself to anyone but you. Don’t let the mind wonder. Just do your job and follow the plan. It’s your coaches job to tell you if you’re not on point or where you’re supposed to be. I’ve worked hard on this aspect of prep this year. Not questioning just following my coaches lead. Don’t allow your thoughts to consume your mind and sabotage your prep. I’m thankful for my support system and my coach heading into the biggest show of the year. No worries, no stress, no fears. Just a lot of hard work, following the plan and keeping my mind on the daily tasks at hand AND THATS IT 💯🙏🏼🤍”

She Lifts Weights

Little shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video. In it, she is seen using a barbell and weights. Little captioned the post, “Glutes and hammies my first workout back home post show 🍑 it was so nice to be able to enjoy some time off with my loved ones 🥹🙏🏼 and getting back to work this week has felt so good!!! Love that refreshing feeling of a first workout back 🔥 @ccash15_ifbbpro.”

She Does Squats

Ashlyn Little doing squats at the gym.

Ashlyn Little/Instagram

Little is seen doing squats in the previous Instagram post and the post from a month ago. Squats have a lot of benefits. Allina Health states, “The squat is one of the all-around best exercises to do for your lower body. It strengthens and tones muscles in your thighs, butt and calves and improves posture, balance, flexibility and inner core strength. Squatting also improves bone mineral density to keep your bones strong.”

She Does Lunges

In her lower body workout Instagram post, Little is seen doing lunges to keep herself in shape. Lunges have a lot of benefits. ACE Fitness states, “They’re a form of unilateral training, which means you’re working only one limb or side of the body at a time. And unilateral training is a more effective way to build functional strength (than using both legs) because these types of movement mimic other everyday motions, like walking and climbing stairs — and not just to the working leg. Research suggests the strength gains to the nonworking side are about half of the strength gains of the working side.”

Linn Lowes is sharing a new workout – in her exercise clothes. In a new social media post the influencer and fitness guru flaunts her amazing figure in a one-piece workout look. “Fun little lower body workout without Hip Trusts/Reverse Kicks for once hehe. Send to someone who you want to try this with next session!” she captioned the Instagram video. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. She Discovered Fitness Through a Lymphoma Battle

“I was born and raised in Sweden, and from a young age, I was always passionate about health and fitness. However, my life took an unexpected turn in my early 20s when I was diagnosed with lymphoma, a type of cancer. This was an incredibly challenging period for me, both physically and emotionally. But through it all, I discovered a strength within myself that I never knew I had,” Linn told Authority Magazine. “During my treatment and recovery, I realized how crucial it was to maintain a positive mindset and stay active. Fitness became my therapy and my source of empowerment. It helped me regain control over my body and my life. After I went into remission, I decided to dedicate myself to helping others find their own strength through fitness and a healthy lifestyle.”

2. Exercising to Feel Good

Linn doesn’t exercise only for her body. “I believe that fitness is not just about looking good; it’s about feeling strong, confident, and capable. My goal is to inspire others to overcome their own obstacles and realize their full potential,” she says.

3. Building a Positive Mindset

She also works on herself from within. “Building a positive mindset and practicing self-love are essential for long-term well-being. Celebrate achievements, however small, and practice self-compassion during setbacks. I often share motivational messages and personal stories on social media to encourage my followers to embrace their journey with kindness and resilience. It’s free!” she says.

4. Food As Fuel

Linn Lowes.4Linn Lowes/Instagram

Linn maintains that how you think about eating is key. “Start thinking about food as something that should nurture you, not just keep you full. Food is fuel for both your body and mind, and choosing nutrient-dense, wholesome options can have a profound impact on your overall well-being. When you view food as a source of nourishment, you prioritize quality over quantity, focusing on foods that provide essential vitamins, minerals, and energy,” she explains. “For example, instead of reaching for processed snacks that may satisfy hunger temporarily but lack nutritional value, consider incorporating whole foods like fresh fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains into your diet. These foods not only provide sustained energy but also support various bodily functions, from boosting immunity to enhancing cognitive function.”

5. Here Is Her Lower Body Workout

Here is Linn’s lower body workout:

  1. Angled Kickbacks 3x15/leg
  2. Smith Split Squat 3x12/leg
  3. Standing DB Abduction 3x20/leg

In a new social media post the fitness founder flaunts her amazing figure in a flat belly baring exercise set while exercising. “Full-body workouts are really the cheat code, babe! One session, and you’re hitting everything—arms, legs, core. It’s like multitasking for your body, and the results? Chef’s kiss. Strong, sculpted, unstoppable—you in? Here’s a full body burn from @thebank_fitcamp. Complete 12-15 reps of each exercise for 3-4 rounds,” she captioned the post from her Tribe Therepē account. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Yoga

During an Alo Moves retreat in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Kayla showed off her yoga pose. “t’s always such a treat getting to work out with their incredible instructors in real life - rather than from the training app like I usually do at home. Super grateful for trips like these that leave you feeling grounded, centered and refreshed,” she captioned the post.

Running and Jogging

Running, or rather “jogging,” is part of Kayla’s routine. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

Golf

Kayla loves golf. “Please feel free to save this under ‘athletic girls I follow.’ Thank you so much. 🤭🏌🏽♀️My kinda Wednesday, truly,” she captioned a post. Golf offers lots of benefits per the British Journal of Sports Medicine. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.

Pilates

Kayla does Pilates. Why is pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Strength Trains

Kayla strength trains, which she does in her recent post. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Linn Löwes is a fitness model and influencer. She notably created the Athli App. Löwes recently shared a shoulder workout on Instagram. She captioned it, “Spicy Shoulder Sess 🥴👌🏼 I’ve heard I don’t post enough upper body (hehe) so here we go. Unfortunately the gym in my new house ain’t fully ready yet so ‘old’ content will have to do it for now. 🙃Do you usually rest or workout during your weekends? 1️⃣ Cable Front Raise 2️⃣ Rear Delt Pulls 3️⃣ Hammer Curl To Presses 4️⃣ DB Lateral Raises 5️⃣ Smith Military Press.”

She Strength Trains

In her Instagram video, Löwes is seen working out with weights. She is also seen doing this in this video. In the latter post’s caption, Löwes talked about her journey with strength training. “I used to train more like this in the beginning of my fitness journey then I transferred into more sets and fewer exercises. Now I’m back to enjoying both! Lots of exercises with light/medium weights, slow motions, lots of mindful muscle connection leaves your muscles exhausted. It’s so nice to work out a sweat using weights from time to time! I never get sweaty moving heavy weights.. The workout 💪🏼1. Side To Side Lunge 3x10/side 2. SM Reverse Hypers 4x15 3. SM Deep Pause Squat 3x12 4.Standing DB Abductions 3x15/side 5. Cross Over Kickbacks 2x15/Side 6. Cable Kickbacks 2x15/Side 7. SM Front Squats 3x10 8. Cable Lunges 2x15/side.”

She Does Bodyweight Exercises

Löwes likes to do bodyweight exercises to keep herself in shape. She shared one of her favorite circuits in this Instagram video. Löwes captioned it, “Let’s go! 🫵🏼🌤️Always loved these bodyweight circuits, especially in the sunset light! 😉🧘♀️ Moving your body is a luxury! You don’t need all that fancy gym gear to get a sweat sess in which is enough to release endorphins and turn up the mood 🧠Try 30 sec of each move x 5 1️⃣ Reverse Lunge Crunches 2️⃣ In & Out Jumps 3️⃣ Mountain Climber Runs 4️⃣ Upside Down Plank Walks 5️⃣ Jumping Lunges.”

She Does Lunges

Löwes likes to do lunges to keep herself in shape. She is seen doing them in the previous two Instagram links. Lunges have a lot of health benefits. The Columbia Association states, “Lunges may look simple, but there’s a lot going on at the same time, which works wonders for your balance and mobility. Since you work one leg at a time, you’re also activating your stabilizer muscles for better stability.”

She Does RDLs

Löwes likes to do RDLs to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself demonstrating the proper technique for them. Löwes captioned it, “🔺Common mistakes:

- Not bending your knees enough
- Letting your back/upper body fall forward rather than your hips pushed back
- Taking a very narrow stance with toes facing straight forward instead of a hip with stance with toes pointing slightly outwards
- Allowing the weight to go all the way down to the floor rather than stopping at knee hight.
Hope this helps! 💪🏼🩷”

She Does Core Workouts

Löwes shared some of her favorite core workouts in this Instagram video. She captioned the post, “4 Standing Exercises For Abs/Core that I personally like 🔥1️⃣ Cable Crunches - always in my core routine! (Abs) 2️⃣ Kettlebell Circles - tougher than they look! Over the past few years, Sydney Sweeney has become one of America’s sweethearts with celebrated roles in everything from hit HBO shows Euphoria and White Lotus to big-screen movies Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Anyone But You. In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
