Norouzi loves to stay active. “I have different times for working out, [it] generally depends on my work schedule,” she told Women Fitness. “I try to incorporate different things while working out, it can be yoga, martial arts, dancing and even hiking when I am in Germany. The most important thing is to keep moving! My message for the reader on prioritizing fitness and health would be that fitness and health are the most important things in life everything comes later on since if you are healthy and fit then only you can excel in life therefore it’s very important to keep yourself hydrated and have a good lifestyle so that you have a long and healthy life.”

Norouzi says she is a loving and giving person when you get to know her. “If you see me working or chilling on the set, you might think I am not very approachable at first — or you might think I am cold, but I’m actually a very emotional person!” she told Masala!. “I love to make sure my people are happy and well taken care of. Norouzi practices intermittent fasting when she wants to reset her health and fitness. “During Covid, I put on a lot of weight around 8 kilos, this was because I felt sick and I was back in Germany enjoying food with my family but when I came back I had to lose weight because I had to start shooting for my shows,” she told Women Fitness. “I started to follow intermittent fasting and it has definitely helped me a lot, I feel more energetic. It has helped in cleansing my body when it comes to eating appropriate portions and not consuming a lot of junk. My favorite cheat meal has to be pizza!”

4. Learning Hindi

Norouzi taught herself to speak Hindi to work in Bollywood. “It’s been 5 years since Sacred Games and I can say that I haven’t been fully accepted,” she told Masala!. It’s still a big struggle to make people believe that I can speak Hindi fluently, or that I could be as good as any other Indian actress. But I can sense that I am on the right track of being fully accepted. It’s obviously been very hard but that’s what I chose.”

5. No Luck, Just Hard Work

Like Billy Zane’s character in Titanic, Norouzi doesn’t believe in luck. “I was 14 when I started modeling,” she told Mag the Weekly. “I started working with photographers, taking pictures, reading a lot about modeling. Then one thing lead to another. I don’t believe in luck as such, I think I’m really hardworking. When I look back to the things I have done in life, how hard I had to work to get here, I really think I was not lucky.”

She also enjoys regular yoga sessions. “Alia's workout routine is a mix of strength, functional and high-intensity work," Khushrushahi told Vogue India. “On the days we can't meet, I'll send her a cardio routine to do which she follows diligently. She loves running and working on her legs. I've always believed routine is boring. And while you need to be boring at times to see results, I love mixing up the workouts. So Alia's routine is always changing."

2. Small Meals All Day

Bhatt’s nutritionist Angie Kassabie makes sure the actress gets all the nutrients she needs with several smaller meals spaced out throughout the day. “Alia's diet started off with clean food—mainly seafood and vegetables, a little bit of carbs in rice and a bit of protein pasta,” she told Vogue India. “Of course, we're having all the fibers in the morning with proteins. We're also giving her desserts on a regular basis—low in carbs, fats, cholesterol and very low in calories—where every piece contains between 160-260 calories.”

3. Barely-There Makeup

Bhatt loves a natural look when it comes to her skincare and makeup. "I’m very into glowy make-up, which is barely-there skin, where you just see luminous skin,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “I like to find that in-between where the skin just looks great. Even when you have make-up on it doesn’t look like you're wearing make-up. It just looks like good skin...with just a bit of make-up on.”

4. Postpartum Confidence

Bhatt gained a new appreciation for her body since having a baby. "I think what I would tell my younger self is that you have so many years ahead of you to worry about things that will actually be worrisome,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “Do not worry about the way your body is looking or where you feel like there's a little bit of tubbiness, or if you feel like you have jiggly and wiggly arms. I think I always felt very conscious about those things."

5. Diet For Energy

Bhatt’s diet was designed to keep her full of energy during her filming schedule. “Alia is in good shape. She is someone who works out often and tries to stay fit as much as she can,” Kassabie told Vogue India. “The goal of every good diet plan and meal is weight loss and having enough energy so you can take all the hours of work, especially in very low temperatures. The body needs a lot of energy in the winter in Bulgaria, which is approximately minus 14 to 15 degrees. We basically gave her all the nutrients to meet her goals, to keep her body fit and drop the couple of kilos she wants to drop.”

I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”
