Captioning the post, “Oh hello September ☀️… August u were lovely n demure 😉,” Arora welcomed the new month with grace and flexibility. Known for her dedication to health and wellness, Arora regularly incorporates various fitness routines into her lifestyle. Here’s a look at how she maintains her mind, body, and soul through yoga, swimming, and more.

1. She Does Yoga

As you can see from her post, Arora likes to practice yoga. Harvard Health states that yoga has a lot of health benefits. “Yoga is known for its ability to soothe tension and anxiety in the mind and body. But it can also have an impact on a person's exercise capacity. Researchers studied a small group of sedentary individuals who had not practiced yoga before. After eight weeks of practicing yoga at least twice a week for a total of 180 minutes, participants had greater muscle strength and endurance, flexibility, and cardio-respiratory fitness.”

2. She Swims

Arora spends a lot of time outside. One thing she likes to do to stay fit is swim. In this highlight reel from a trip she took to the Maldives, Arora is seen in a pool and in the ocean. She captioned the post, “Paradise.” Also, in this set of photos she posted, Arora is again seen in the water. She captioned that post, “Salty ‘n blue.”

3. She Values Fitness

Arora shared some of her wellness secrets with GQ. She says that fitness is very important to her. “I think not just as an actor but also as a person, fitness is a very integral part of who I am. Arora talked about her diet secrets in her GQ interview. She says that she likes to intermittently fast. “I’ve always been somebody who’s very particular about what I eat and when I eat it. But, over a year ago, I was introduced to intermittent fasting. And, now, I swear by it. I think the combination of doing Yoga and following an intermittent fasting routine, daily, has just completely changed my way of thinking towards eating, food, et cetera.”

5. She Works Her Abs

Arora shares a lot of workouts on Instagram. In this video, she is seen doing some core workouts. The Mayo Clinic states that core workouts are extremely beneficial. “Core exercises train the muscles in your core to work in harmony. This leads to better balance and steadiness, also called stability. Stability is important whether you're on the playing field or doing regular activities. In fact, most sports and other physical activities depend on stable core muscles.”

Bollywood star Malaika Arora is dedicated to her health and fitness routine, which includes intense workout sessions with her personal trainer. Arora, 50, shared a video of herself wearing yellow shorts and a matching sports bra, doing a mat workout at home. “Always killing it, this one ♥️Starting the week off with some fun cardio and a dose of Casper’s energy ☺️💪,” trainer Jahnavi Patwardhan captioned the Instagram post. Here’s how Arora is in the best shape of her life in her 50s.

1. Beauty From the Inside

Arora believes beauty comes from healthy habits. “I believe beauty is inner health,” she told Harper’s Bazaar India. “If you are healthy and good from within, you can take on any new change or trend and ace it. I believe that being beautiful inside is more important than being beautiful outside. For this, one needs to lead a healthy lifestyle. Have lots of fruits and fresh juices, sleep on time, drink lots of water, exercise regularly and keep an active lifestyle. We are aware of all this but sometimes just need a little extra nudge to follow it.”

2. Hair Oil and Pilates

Arora prefers clean beauty products and swears by regular Pilates sessions. “I start my day with warm water and lemon every morning,” she told Femina. “I use organic, chemical-free make-up as much as possible and ensure that I remove my make-up every night before bed – in fact I cleanse twice while removing my make-up. I also oil my hair once a week. A sunscreen is important – even in the winter. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate – it’s my perpetual mantra! Keep active for at least 30 minutes everyday – my favorite go-to exercise is Pilates.”

3. Intermittent Fasting

Concept,Of,Intermittent,Fasting,And,Ketogenic,Diet,,Weight,Loss.,ForkShutterstock

Arora makes most of her food at home, rarely eating out. “I do intermittent fasting, so I don't eat anything in the morning because my last meal is at 7-7:30 in the night,” she told Times of India. “So, I fast for about 16 to 18 hours. I start my day with a lot of liquids, which is warm water, ghee or coconut oil, in the morning. The liquid could be whatever you like--plain water, jeera water, or water with lime. I do all of that in the morning and I break my fast with nuts--walnuts and a mix of nuts that I have.”

4. Limiting Screen Time

Arora takes break from screens for her mental health. “Practicing detachment from the noise on social media can be challenging but not impossible,” she told Harper’s Bazaar India. “It requires setting clear boundaries, limiting screen time and being mindful of emotional responses. Having self-awareness and focusing on real-life connections can help create a healthier relationship with social media. I also take breaks and prioritize mental well-being to find a balance and reduce the impact of the online world on my emotions.”

5. Her Beauty Rules

Arora’s beauty mantra is based on self-love and inner beauty. “I have three fundamental rules when it comes to beauty. Firstly, I advocate embracing uniqueness,” she told Harper’s Bazaar India. “It means recognising that beauty cannot be confined to a single standard but rather stems from embracing and celebrating your distinctiveness and unique attributes. Secondly, I emphasize the importance of prioritizing self-care, both physically and mentally. It plays a crucial role in exuding inner beauty and confidence. Lastly, I encourage individuals to be kind, compassionate and understand that genuine beauty emanates from acts of empathy, thereby contributing to a more beautiful world for all.”

1. Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent,Fasting.,Healthy,Breakfast,,Diet,Food,Concept.,Organic,Meal.,FatShutterstock

“I do intermittent fasting, so I don't eat anything in the morning because my last meal is at 7-7:30 in the night,” Malaika told Times of India. “So, I fast for about 16 to 18 hours. I start my day with a lot of liquids, which is warm water, ghee or coconut oil, in the morning. The liquid could be whatever you like--plain water, jeera water, or water with lime. I do all of that in the morning and I break my fast with nuts--walnuts and a mix of nuts that I have.” She eats two meals a day. “I have a proper full lunch, which includes a bit of carbs and good fats. I have something for snacks in the evening--a very light, healthy snack. And I have my dinner by 7 pm. So, it can be a little of everything--vegetables, or if you're a meat-eater then meat, eggs, or a bit of legumes or lentils. I divide it and make sure to try and have as wholesome a meal as possible. And that's it. I don't have anything after 7 pm,” she told Times of India.

2. Exercise

“I believe in having a routine which I choose to follow on a regular basis,” Malaika told News 18. “I start my day with a good morning session of yoga and then I step outside to do a mix of other fitness activities as well like HIIT, walking, running, swimming and so on. Walking is a great way to improve and maintain your overall health and I make sure I do it for at least 30 minutes a day.”

3. Yoga

Malaika.Arora.1Malaika Arora/Instagram

“My favorite exercise is doing yoga as I always begin my day with it. I usually dedicate 60 minute in a day for exercising,” Malaika told News 18. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

4. Walking

“Walking is a risk-free form of exercise that helps you to maintain your overall health,” Malaika explained to News 18. “When I feel I have put on a little weight, I feel walking is an effective way to reduce that weight and I have also seen a lot of toning in my legs and overall body while I indulge in walking as a regular fitness exercise.”

5. The 70/30 Rule

Malaika eats healthy – most of the time. “For achieving a fit body and mind, I believe eating right is the best way to maintain your health. The balance should be 30 percent exercise to 70 percent diet in order to achieve the body you wish for,” Malaika has said. “If one wishes to follow a particular and strict diet, then they should always consult a doctor or a trainer and set up a diet best suited for their body.”

Bhumi Pednekar is celebrating her upcoming trip around the sun, all month long! The Indian actress, who celebrates her 33rd birthday in July, rocks a bright orange swimsuit via her latest Instagram post. “Birthday month,” she captioned the image. How does the soon-to-be birthday girl stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Bhumi Pednekar stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Staying in Shape Is a “Constant Process”

Bhumi is always working on herself. “I’ve lost over 35kg, after gaining 30kg for a film. Since then, it’s been a constant process of improvement—but I didn’t do it by starving myself,” she told Vogue India. “I work really hard; it’s become an active part of my routine. I like to mix it up—pilates, running, strength and weight training.”

2. She Works Out Daily

“If you want something, don't wait for a Monday to begin working for it. Just show up,” Pednekar told India Today. “I just woke up each day and showed up at the gym. I decided to never break this resolve, so there were days when I would merely take a steam and sauna and potter around. But I was there, soaking in the energy. There's no dearth of excuses when the motivation is down. I knew I had to push past this.”

3. She Has a Healthy Morning Routine

Dried,Fruits,And,BerriesShutterstock

“Running regularly and light exercises along with a balanced diet will help keep you active. Hence, I start my day with running followed by a healthy breakfast including foods like nuts, fruits that help maintain my energy levels and give me the boost of nutrition I need to go about my day," she revealed in another interview with Vogue India.

4. Exercise Is Her “Me Time”

INDIA-ENTERTAINMENT-CINEMA-BOLLYWOODSUJIT JAISWAL/AFP via Getty Images

“The hour or two I spend in the gym every morning is me time," she told Vogue. “It’s not just physical, it’s meditative too; I do a lot of thinking when I’m working out."

5. She Counts Steps

Mumbai Celebrity SightingsProdip Guha/Hindustan Times via Getty Images

“I make sure to dedicate an hour to exercise daily and have made a resolution to complete 7,000-8,000 steps in a day so I don’t feel lethargic. It may look difficult since you’re indoors all the time but it’s important to push yourself," she told Vogue. "Activity trackers can determine how far you've traveled and what type of movement you were doing, such as walking, jogging or swimming. And many activity trackers measure sleep quality and length, compute calorie intake and the number of calories burned, monitor your heart rate, check skin temperature and sweating levels, and serve as alarm clocks or watches. Some can even monitor your blood-oxygen levels. And many activity trackers can track your location," says the Mayo Clinic.

Alice De Bortoli doesn’t just light up Instagram with her stunning fashion and effortless style—she also shares the secrets behind her enviable beach-ready physique. The Italian influencer keeps her followers in the loop when it comes to fitness, beauty, and wellness, proving that looking and feeling great is all about consistency. From skincare rituals to core-sculpting workouts, De Bortoli’s daily habits make it clear that staying in shape is about more than just hitting the gym. Whether she’s cooking up homemade meals, breaking a sweat, or showing off a fresh new look, she’s all about feeling her best from the inside out. Here are five of her go-to habits for maintaining a strong, confident, and glowing presence all year long.

She Takes Care Of Her Skin

De Bortoli has impressive skin. Naturally, she takes care of it on a regular basis. De Bortoli shared this video on Instagram sharing her skincare routine. She captioned it, “The secret to perfect skin? Here is my step by step routine! ✨💦🎀 What product can you absolutely not live without?”

She Changed Her Hair Color

Alice De Bortoli dyed her hair

De Bortoli recently changed her hair color. She explained why in the caption of this Instagram post. “The good thing about this color is that it does not require frequent touch-ups and it easily adapts to natural hair growth, it is versatile and can enhance any body and face shape 🧡for those who are tired of blonde or brown, bronde is the solution to change harmony without distortion 🤍for those who have a fair complexion, the most golden tone is recommended 🤎 for the dark complexion, on the other hand, more ash brown ❤️ 🔥what can I say... For me the bronde conquered, and what do you think?”

She Cooks

De Bortoli likes to cook, and she was taught to do so by her grandmother. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her grandmother cooking together. De Bortoli captioned it, “Grandparents are wealth in society, my grandmother loves to cook and do it with her since I was a child. She has always inspired my creativity, patience, discipline and order but above all traditions, history, and the concreteness of nature's gifts. The greatest teaching my grandparents passed on to me is respect for people, the environment, animals and the kitchen... Today together we made Carnival Frittelle, an easy, quick dessert that adults and kids love. The ingredients are few and simple (but of high quality) and, trust me, the result is guaranteed: nice round but above all soft and tasty.”

She Works Her Abs

De Bortoli shared this video of herself working out on Instagram. In it, she is seen doing core exercises like sit-ups. Core exercises are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes. Strong core muscles help athletes, such as runners. That's because weak core muscles can lead to more fatigue, less endurance and injuries.”

She Works Out With Others

In the previous Instagram video, De Bortoli is seen working out with a friend. Better Health says that this has a lot of benefits. “You’re less likely to get bored when you have a workout buddy, especially a friend. While you’re catching up, having a laugh, encouraging each other, you’re also getting healthier. It’s a win-win. Chatting to a friend during exercise and breaks can help time pass quickly too. You’ll have more options as well, such as a game of tennis or squash.”

Kristin Cavallari is a reality TV and fashion icon. Since she debuted on Laguna Beach, people have clamoured for her fashion and beauty secrets. Cavallari recently shared her eye makeup secrets on Instagram, after several people asked for them. She captioned the post, “This is for the girlies in my DMs asking about this eye every time I do it. Sorry the lighting is awful. I also don’t know why the audio isn’t in sync for half of it 🫣 but here ya go 💗”

She's Less Strict With Her Diet

Kristin shares a Zucchini Almond Butter Blondies recipe

Kristin Cavallari/Instagram

Cavallari has written several cookbooks, and they have changed as her diet has changed. While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

She Loves Cauliflower

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

She Loves Salad

Krisitn Cavallari/Instagram

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”

Rebeca Andrade shows off her winning medals at the Olympic Games Paris 2024

We are committed to bringing you researched, expert-driven content to help you make more informed decisions around food, health, and wellness. We know how important making choices about your overall health is, and we strive to provide you with the best information possible.

Rebeca Andrade is an Olympic gymnast. She is the most decorated Olympic athlete from Brazil, having won two gold medals, three silvers, and a bronze. Andrade recently shared some highlights of her native Brazil on Instagram. In some of them, she posed in a swimsuit while wading. Andrade captioned the post, “SC-&-RS🏕️🌅❤️ Being free is a paradox. It's committing to the life you want, without running away from the work that it entails. It's building freedom every day, with conscious choices and, mainly, with the acceptance that freedom is not the absence of limits, but the autonomy to know which ones are worth it and which ones are not. Being free is being willing to carry the weight of your own life and still find it funny.”

She Swims

In her Instagram post, Andrade is seen swimming. The Cleveland Clinic says that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

She Does Gymnastics

Gymnastics is the main way Andrade stays in shape. British Gymnastics states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “When you take part in gymnastics, or any sport for that matter, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These also help to trigger a positive feeling in the body which can have a positive impact on your happiness and mental wellbeing. This can help to combat feelings of anxiety and depression.”

She Prioritizes Safety

Andrade talked about her training approach in an interview with the Olympics website. She says that she and her coach prioritize her safety, and that she will skip floor sessions if she isn’t able to do it. "I talk a lot with my coach and we trust in each other. We always try to be really safe, and do floor in the correct moments. He believes in me. I'm never going to lie to not do it. So, when I really tell him that I can't do it, it's because I cannot and he always respects that.”

She Sets Goals

In her Olympics website interview, Andrade talked about her commitment and goal setting. Specifically, she talked about her goal to make the Olympic team. “The other [goal], which is the main one, is for us to qualify as a team,” Andrade said. “I think it will be very important for me, for my team, and the focus is on that, whatever happens there, the result is a consequence of our work, of our commitment. But I really want to be there with my team and be happy and healthy.”

She Cooks

Andrade makes sure to eat healthy. She also likes to cook a lot of her own meals. She shared some of her favorite things to make in an interview with NPR. “There was one that was with potatoes and cheese, chicken. There’s cake. There’s cookies. A lot of things.”
