Stars—they're just like us! Especially when it comes to being obsessed with their canine and feline friends (lets face it, the late Karl Lagerfeld's cat Choupette lives a luxurious life most people couldn't dream of). Celebrity pets often become famous by association, featuring on their social media and becoming beloved in their own right. "I can't imagine my life without animals," says Halle Berry. "I have two dogs and three cats. Coming home and finding them all lined up at the door waiting for me has got to be one of the sweetest joys of my life." Justin Theroux loves his dog Kuma so much he gave the pup a shout-out online. "I know you can't read Kuma, but thank you for being so open, making me laugh, sleeping in later than me, going everywhere by my side, reminding me to stay in the present, to let things roll off me, to have gratitude and joy for everything, even just waking up," he said. "Reminding me to be playful. For showing patience."

Selena Gomez adopted two adorable dogs called Daisy and Winnie. Winnie came first, and then Daisy joined the family later. "I know a few friends who are fostering right now, just to give animals a safe place," the singer said about Daisy. "I couldn't help it. I have to keep her."

James Van Der Beek and his family are in love with their sweet pup Theo. "We have been incredibly blessed to welcome Theo into our home. His foster parents saved his life and gave him so much love and we are so very grateful!" Kimberly Van Der Beek captioned an Instagram post. Chrissy Teigen met her new puppy Pebbles thanks to stylist Jen Atkin and Atkin's husband Mike Rosenthal. "Thank you for introducing us to this little bug, @jenatkinhair and @mrmikerosenthal! she is perfectly sweet and adorable and I *think* perhaps the best cuddler in our whole house," Teigen wrote in the caption of a photo. "She came to us with the job of protecting little luna from bed monsters and I'm happy to report there has not been a single one seen (heard? no idea) since her arrival!"

Colton Underwood adores his dog so much, he even gave him his own Instagram account.

Drew Barrymore loves that her cats and dogs are best friends. "I like when they play together," she says. "I think it's so cute. My cat Lucky always wants to play with my dog Douglas. Miley Cyrus adopted new pup Angel in 2021. "It breaks my heart to know Angel was sleeping on concrete in a shelter for three months before finally making it home," she says. "The stigma and stereotype that surrounds pit bulls tears me in two. This breed is incomparably loving. Just like humans nurture often overrides nature."

Lily Collins takes dog Redford traveling around the world, even when she's filming Emily In Paris. "Sometimes when I didn't get recognised in Paris shooting the show, Redford would still get recognised," she says. "It was wild. Charlie would be walking him along one of the bridges and people would be like 'Ah! Is that Redford?' And we were always like 'Oh my god, what?' It was really wild."
