Celebrity Trainer Yasmin Karachiwala in Two-Piece Workout Gear Talks "Menstrual Pain"

Yasmin Karachiwala follows these steps to keep herself looking and feeling her best.

Celebrity trainer and author, Yasmin Karachiwala, doesn't just work on her own health and wellness, but inspires others to become the best version of themselves. "Feeling tired and bloated during that time of the month? 😩Pilates can be very beneficial during menstruation as it helps improve circulation, alleviate cramps, and promote relaxation without being overly strenuous. Most people avoid working out during their periods but I've always found Pilates helps most of my clients. Here are some simple Pilates exercises that are suitable during this time: Repeat for 3 rounds🤗 Articulated Bridge – 6-8 reps. Toe Taps – 8-10 reps each. Supine Spine Stretch – 4-6 reps each side. Single Leg Stretch – 6-8 reps each. Swan – 6-8 reps," she said on Instagram. Here's what she focuses on to stay in such great shape.

1

She's confident

It's important to go beyond physical strength, focusing on self-esteem, mental clarity, and confidence, as well. "Don't tell me what I can't do 😉Jumping into this trend a bit late, but it's never too late for a powerful message! 😉Expectations, stereotypes, and so-called rules—seriously, what's with all this noise? As midlife women, we're redefining the rules: Wear what makes us feel fabulous! Choose workouts that challenge and bring us joy! Learn and grow in ways that excite us! And yes, lift heavy weights like the strong women we are," she said on Instagram.

2

She works her abs

In addition to the rest of her body, she prioritizes her abs. "Quick, effective, and intense Pilates abs —just how I like it!😉👉🏼Repeat for 2 to 3 rounds✨Around the World – 10 reps (ball under thoracic) ✨Dead Bug – 10 reps (ball under sacrum) ✨Push Through – 10 reps (ball under ankles). Save this for later and share it with your friends who might enjoy it 🤗🤗," she said on Instagram.

3

She has goals

She works through setbacks to reach important health and wellness goals. "My reel today is about more than just lifting weights—it's about lifting yourself up. For any woman, especially us over 50, it's not #about luck or body type, it's about resilience and determination. Every failure is just another step forward, and every workout is proof of strength. Embrace the grind, own your power, and never forget the beauty in your journey. ❤️✨," she said on Instagram.

4

She's consistent

She knows the importance of staying consistent when it comes to her fitness goals and lifestyle. "Key to consistency? Becoming #StrongerInside," she said on Instagram," she said on Instagram. "There is a connection between mental health and physical health. When our bodies are well-nourished and cared for, this can improve our brain health, which makes it easier for us to feel happier and present," according to bridgeportct.gov.

5

She gets back on track

Whatever it is that throws her off her routine, she makes it a point to get back on track. "Ganpati Bappa has left, and it's time to get back on track. Those delicious modaks were worth it, but now we're ready to reset and refocus on our health and fitness goals. 🤗🤗👉🏼Repeat for 5 rounds 💪🏼 DB Squat+ Overhead Press- 15 reps 💪🏼 DB Pullover+Bridge- 15 reps 💪🏼 DB Lunge+Single Triceps Extension- 15reps each 💪🏼 DB Deadlift+Power Clean- 15 reps 💪🏼 Single Leg Push-up+ Butt Blaster- 15 each.
