Cinthya Carmona in Two-Piece Workout Gear Has "a Summer Well Spent"
Cinthya Carmona is giving her followers a glimpse into her trip home. In a new social media post the actress shows off her beautiful body in a two-piece workout set (and swimsuit) while enjoying a visit with family and friends. "A summer well spent in my beautiful #Colombia #Barranquilla ❤️ 🇨🇴 🏠," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
Pilates
"I have a full life outside of acting, and that is so important. I'm not always on set and as actors that can make us a little stir crazy. I love to stay active and work out, really obsessed with pilates," she told Session Mag.According to research, Pilates exercises are designed to increase muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility, and to improve posture and balance. Experts maintain that it is a great workout for leaning out.
Tennis
She is also obsessed with "tennis at the moment," she added. "Not only is it great for my physical but also my mental health. I never stop moving," she said. According to ACE Fitness it blends together cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around, and hand-eye coordination. "While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding," they say.
Cooking
"One of my favorite hobbies is cooking," she says. "I see it as an incredibly creative activity, buying the ingredients and planning, the preparation and sitting down to eat a meal and feed the people I care about. I treat it with the same care I use when preparing for a role! It's so meditative and sacred for me."
Skincare
"I always share the products I'm obsessed with on TikTok! I'm a skincare queen so I cannot live without a Vitamin C Serum, Hyaluronic Acid, Mandelic Acid, a solid moisturizer, an eye cream and a tinted sunscreen! Heavy on the sunscreen! At night, I'll use retinol a few days a week. A double cleanse is a must! I could talk about this for days!" she told Session.
Yoga
Cinthya is a yogi. In her recent series of snaps, she sits on a yoga mat on the beach. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. "Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood," they said. "People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating."
