CJ Franco is celebrating her engagement in a swimsuit. In a new social media post, shared after the actress and model said yes to Len Wiseman’s proposal, she shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while giving followers a glimpse into her life this summer. “Recently,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does the 32-year-old bride-to-be keep herself in such fabulous physical shape? Here are a few of her stay-fit secrets.
1. She Does
“In my spare time I like to workout- like Kanye said, it is all about Pilates,” CJ told Ken Devo about her favorite sweat method. “My favorite people to bend over backwards for #pilatescore,” she joked in a recent social media caption. Why is pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health. It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.
2. She Drinks Coffee

CJ is all about the perks of coffee. “My obsession with coffee has only been intensified by my time spent living in Los Angeles,” she added in the interview. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.
3. She Is a Pescatarian

CJ has a policy when it comes to animals: She only eats the ones that swim. “I have been a pescatarian for the last 5 years. I eat lots of yogurt, smoothies, salad, and grilled fish,” she confessed.
4. She Hikes
CJ also enjoys outdoor workouts. “For exercise I love to go on hikes with my dog,” she said. “Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between,” says the National Parks Service. Some of the physical benefits include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems. It also offers many mental health benefits, according to a Stanford University study.
5. She Kickboxes
CJ has another workout she likes: Kickboxing. “I’m actually about to go to a kickboxing 8 week summer body class this summer body is coming soon!” she told Naluda. Harvard Health maintains that boxing a great way to build strength, improve balance, posture, hand-eye coordination, boost mood and endurance, and helps increase alertness.
