She said on Instagram, “you ain’t gotta like it, long as God love it! Can’t match my energy.” As she radiates joy and confidence while dancing, it’s clear to see why Shields is a fitness inspiration. The professional MMA fighter and boxer with world championships on her resume of wins, is an inspiration in every way. She prioritizes her health and wellness, putting fitness at the forefront and having a great attitude about it. Here’s what she does to maintain her mental and physical strength.

1. She’s extremely athletic

I guess they shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, but as a world champion, she’s quite athletic when it comes to MMA and boxing. “It’s important for me to be recognized as a two-sport athlete because I want to show that I can do both,” she said. “After all my boxing accolades, there’s still a rule in which boxers don’t go to MMA. I want to change that — and show that I am the GWOAT of combat sports because I can do both.”

2. She strength trains

She focuses on strength training. “My boxing routine requires strength and conditioning workouts in the morning. Then I’ll train again with another two- to three-hour boxing session. I’ll hit the bag or pads with my coach and work on certain combinations. Then it’s working on the game plan and watching film. All that is about three hours.”

3. She does wrestling drills

She makes time for wrestling drills. “I’ll work on wrestling drills for about 45 minutes, then learn how to fight off the cage and against it, also learn how to take somebody down when they’re trying to resist.” According to FloWrestling, “if I were to explain it to a parent looking to put their son or daughter on the mat, there are five things I’d pinpoint as some of the biggest benefits of wrestling; discipline, mental toughness, confidence, physical fitness, and camaraderie.”

4. She does kickboxing

African,Woman,In,Fitness,Outfit,Doing,Kick,Boxing,Workout.,AthleteShutterstock

She enjoys kickboxing and jiu-jitsu specifically as part of her workout. “Two hours later, I have kickboxing, then it’s jiu jitsu. That’s a full day for me every day — unless I break the routine and say, “You know what? I’m gonna give myself a rest.”” According to the Cleveland Clinic, “when you’re feeling tense and frustrated, a good workout can help. Fitness boxing, which is a form of exercise that has roots in traditional boxing, offers a safe outlet for your emotions — not to mention an awesome workout.”

5. She takes a break if she needs to

She prioritizes taking a break if her body needs it. “Having a routine is a great thing for any athlete, but sometimes adding something new to a routine or just giving yourself a break is necessary. If you’re training several times a day all week, by Friday, your body will wear down. I think that messes with some people when they’re unable to finish out the week. When my body says, “Hey, chill out, Claressa,” I’m more than willing to chill out and give my body a rest or cut a workout short.”

Angela Hill is a MMA Fighter, known as Overkill. She recently shared a training video on her Instagram. Hill captioned the video, “BACK AT IT! Quick round in my new @shadowfightgoods gloves after a killer @erodingweakness session at @weckmethod. Me and my team, were motivated, hungry, ready to get what’s ours.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Angela Hill stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Does Conditioning Workouts

Hill shared her daily routine in an interview with ESPN. She says that the first workouts she does are conditioning ones. “I get to the gym at about 8 a.m. ET to get in a quick conditioning set. Here, I'm doing squat raises with just the bars so my arms don't snap off. This is one of my least favorite exercises because it targets a lot of small muscles I'm not used to using. I'm working my way up to a heavier weight but the bar will do for now. After this I'll move on to squats, lunges and presses. Conditioning is my least favorite part of training. It's repetitive, boring and hard. I like to think of it like taking medicine; you hate it in the moment but the results keep you coming back.”

2. She Trains With Her Husband

Hill tells ESPN that she likes to train with her husband. “Adam isn't just my husband, he's my sparring partner, coach, corner man, nutritionist and daily motivator. He's a pretty good catch. Right here he is pulling an eyelash out of my eye. He probably punched the lash loose a few minutes ago doing slip-and-counter drills. That's when your pad holder throws a pad at your face, you duck under it, making him miss, and then you attack while he recovers his balance. Sometimes you forget to duck, ha-ha!”

3. She Does Muay Thai

Hill naturally does a lot of fighting to train. She tells ESPN that she does Muay Thai. “Muay Thai is basically kickboxing with the addition of elbows and knees. It's the most brutal striking martial art and a very intense workout. It helps me in the ring because in MMA the fight always starts standing, so being able to punch, kick, elbow and knee your opponent without getting tired is essential.

4. She Doesn’t Freak Out

Hill shared how she prepares for fights with Yahoo Sports. She says that she doesn’t try to freak herself out before a fight. “The more I get in there, it just feels like another day at work doing my job. The secret to me is that I’ve forced myself to take every day one day at a time. When you build up fight day to be this massive event that could be life-altering, then it could really mess with your psyche and mess with your confidence.”

5. She’s Taking Risks

Hill tells Yahoo Sports that she wants to push herself and take risks. “It’s been hard for me because I do have a technical background and I am a very technical fighter. Opening up is always hard for me because I’m like, ‘Well, if I do this, I might be off-balance. Or if I do this, that could happen. But sometimes, that can hold you back. So I’ve been more open to taking risks and believing in the fact that even if I [expletive] up, I can probably fix it so I shouldn’t hesitate to go. So now I just try to hit, try to score and try to hurt them. It’s been working and fights have been going my way.”

How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. She’s “Not Very Strict” About Her Diet

“I’m not very strict about my diet,” Shelly-Ann confessed to Forbes, She eats pasta, rice, dumplings and bananas. “I eat ground provisions because I am forced to,” she laughs. “My husband says I need to eat them.” She also likes chicken and saltfish. “My coach has always said, as an athlete, as I travel all over the world, I am not eating for taste, I am eating to compete. I’ve seen athletes go to meets and they can’t get what they want so they won’t eat. I will eat whatever is there,” she explains.

2. Training at Least 7.5 Hours a Day

Prior to her Forbes interview, Shelly-Ann worked out from 4:30 am until 9 am. But she wasn’t done. After the interview she headed to the gym for two more hours.

3. Strength Training

Shelly-Ann does a lot of strength training. “All the motivation I need,” she captioned a video. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

4. Her Son and Husband Are Her “Strength”

Shelly-Ann was the oldest woman -- and first mom ever -- to win the 100-meter title at World’s. “A victory for motherhood!” she said, according to the AP. "My secret is just staying humble and just know who you are as a person and athlete and just continue to work hard," she told CNN. "It's a wonderful feeling having my son witnessing this.” She added: “Zyon and my husband have been my strength. When everybody else doubted me, they never did. It’s down to them that I am here again.”

5. Running

As a track star, Shelly-Ann has to run a lot. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

Charlotte Flair is a wrestler. Her father is legendary wrestler Ric Flair. Flair has worked with WWE and NXT, and has won several championships. In February, she shared some stunning photos on Instagram. In them, she wore workout gear. Flair captioned the post, “Can we just get to Aries season already?” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Charlotte Flair stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Wrestles

Flair talked about how she got into wrestling in an interview with Muscle and Fitness. “Yes, I’m Ric Flair’s daughter, but just because he was a wrestler didn’t mean that I wanted to be a wrestler,” she says. “[But] having the sports background, and playing volleyball in college, the athleticism came naturally to me. I think that was the only thing that kept me in the game when I first started.”

2. She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Flair shared her workout secrets in her Muscle and Fitness interview. She says that she does workouts without going to the gym, and does a variety of different things. “I’ll cycle with an app where we do 20 seconds on, and 20 seconds off, or I’ll ride around the park. We’ll do pull ups, dips and push ups before we start the workout. I was a gymnast when I was younger, and there is something to knowing your body, like how to hold it, and balance.”

3. She Strength Trains

Flair shares a lot of her workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is weight train. She’s seen using a lot of weights in this video. In it, Flair is seen doing deadlifts, squats on a machine with weights, and sit ups with a weight. The Mayo Clinic states that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

4. She Eats Carbs

Flair makes sure to eat healthy. She revealed in the caption of this workout video on Instagram that she is eating more carbs. “Practice like you’ve never won • Play like you’ve never lost. 💎🦋🦚🦁 Florida heat 🥴🥵💪🏻Meal prep @fitnprep. Ps I’ve been trying to add more carbs to my diet and it’s really helping me with my strength in the gym.”

5. She’s Kind To Herself

In her Muscle and Fitness interview, Flair talked about how she deals with being in the public eye and having to listen to other people’s opinions. “It’s about being kind to yourself,” says Flair. “How you talk to yourself really matters. I never believed that I could be on TV, or be a performer, or any of those things … why did I tell myself that for so many years? And now, here I am, the most decorated women’s champion of all-time. Why do we tell ourselves that we can’t do something? It’s because we are scared of it. So, do what you are scared of. That biggest fear that you have…do that!”

Sha’Carri Richardson is a successful track star. She first made waves in 2021. Richardson is also a spokeswoman for several brands. She recently appeared in an Instagram ad for Whoop. In it, she wore a green set of workout gear. Whoop captioned the post, “It’s training szn.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Sha’Carri Richardson stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Runs

Running is naturally the main way Richardson stays in shape. Valley Oaks Health states that running has a lot of benefits. ”After going for a run, your body experiences a drop in the stress hormone cortisol. This reduction diminishes feelings of stress, allowing you to go about the rest of your day with less tension and anxiety. In addition to mitigating stress, running also invokes feelings of calmness. Following a run, your body releases chemicals called endocannabinoids. These chemicals flow through your bloodstream and into your brain, relaxing your mind and body.”

2. She Strength Trains

In this advertisement for Nike, Richardson is seen using battle ropes, which is a strength training exercise. Strength training has a lot of benefits. The Mayo Clinic states, “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

3. She’s Making Up For Her Mistake

Sha'Carri.Richardson.4Sha'Carri Richardson/Instagram

Richardson opened up about recovering from her positive drug test to Teen Vogue. “How I show myself forgiveness is honestly by acknowledging it first, acknowledging the situation for what it is, acknowledging my responsibilities in it, and talking about it to the people I feel like it impacted besides myself,” she says. “When I had the entire situation of being banned from the Tokyo Games, the people who I talked to first were the people who I felt like were with me the most on the journey. I apologized to them first. I felt like they had to hold my shame as well, in a way — or my guilt, in a way. Acknowledging them made me feel like it was okay within myself…and [I] actually allowed myself to feel those emotions. That whole situation was a very big growing and touching experience for me and my community.”

4. She Speaks Out

Sha'Carri.Richardson.3Sha'Carri Richardson/Instagram

Richardson opened up about why she speaks about racism she’s experienced to Teen Vogue. “When I'm off the track, I experience things just like … any other woman, any other Black person would experience. So, to me, not to acknowledge that would be part of the problem. I would be part of the reason why there's no change. The fact that I say that I'm Black before an athlete, I really stand on that.”

5. She Has Support

Richardson has a lot of supportive people in her life. She talked about this in an interview. “Everybody has struggles and I understand that, but y'all see me on this track and y'all see the poker face I put on, but nobody but them and my coach know what I go through on a day-to-day basis. I'm highly grateful for them. Without them, there would be no me. Without my grandmother, there would be no Sha'Carri Richardson. My family is my everything, my everything until the day I'm done."

Alice De Bortoli doesn’t just light up Instagram with her stunning fashion and effortless style—she also shares the secrets behind her enviable beach-ready physique. The Italian influencer keeps her followers in the loop when it comes to fitness, beauty, and wellness, proving that looking and feeling great is all about consistency. From skincare rituals to core-sculpting workouts, De Bortoli’s daily habits make it clear that staying in shape is about more than just hitting the gym. Whether she’s cooking up homemade meals, breaking a sweat, or showing off a fresh new look, she’s all about feeling her best from the inside out. Here are five of her go-to habits for maintaining a strong, confident, and glowing presence all year long.

She Takes Care Of Her Skin

De Bortoli has impressive skin. Naturally, she takes care of it on a regular basis. De Bortoli shared this video on Instagram sharing her skincare routine. She captioned it, “The secret to perfect skin? Here is my step by step routine! ✨💦🎀 What product can you absolutely not live without?”

She Changed Her Hair Color

Alice De Bortoli dyed her hair

De Bortoli recently changed her hair color. She explained why in the caption of this Instagram post. “The good thing about this color is that it does not require frequent touch-ups and it easily adapts to natural hair growth, it is versatile and can enhance any body and face shape 🧡for those who are tired of blonde or brown, bronde is the solution to change harmony without distortion 🤍for those who have a fair complexion, the most golden tone is recommended 🤎 for the dark complexion, on the other hand, more ash brown ❤️ 🔥what can I say... For me the bronde conquered, and what do you think?”

She Cooks

Alice De Bortoli is seen cooking

De Bortoli likes to cook, and she was taught to do so by her grandmother. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her grandmother cooking together. De Bortoli captioned it, “Grandparents are wealth in society, my grandmother loves to cook and do it with her since I was a child. She has always inspired my creativity, patience, discipline and order but above all traditions, history, and the concreteness of nature's gifts. The greatest teaching my grandparents passed on to me is respect for people, the environment, animals and the kitchen... Today together we made Carnival Frittelle, an easy, quick dessert that adults and kids love. The ingredients are few and simple (but of high quality) and, trust me, the result is guaranteed: nice round but above all soft and tasty.”

She Works Her Abs

De Bortoli shared this video of herself working out on Instagram. In it, she is seen doing core exercises like sit-ups. Core exercises are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes. Strong core muscles help athletes, such as runners. That's because weak core muscles can lead to more fatigue, less endurance and injuries.”

She Works Out With Others

Alice De Bortoli works out with a friend

In the previous Instagram video, De Bortoli is seen working out with a friend. Better Health says that this has a lot of benefits. “You’re less likely to get bored when you have a workout buddy, especially a friend. While you’re catching up, having a laugh, encouraging each other, you’re also getting healthier. It’s a win-win. Chatting to a friend during exercise and breaks can help time pass quickly too. You’ll have more options as well, such as a game of tennis or squash.”

Kristin Cavallari is a reality TV and fashion icon. Since she debuted on Laguna Beach, people have clamoured for her fashion and beauty secrets. Cavallari recently shared her eye makeup secrets on Instagram, after several people asked for them. She captioned the post, “This is for the girlies in my DMs asking about this eye every time I do it. Sorry the lighting is awful. I also don’t know why the audio isn’t in sync for half of it 🫣 but here ya go 💗”

She's Less Strict With Her Diet

Kristin shares a Zucchini Almond Butter Blondies recipe

Kristin Cavallari/Instagram

Cavallari has written several cookbooks, and they have changed as her diet has changed. While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

She Loves Cauliflower

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

She Loves Salad

Krisitn Cavallari/Instagram

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”

Rebeca Andrade is an Olympic gymnast. She is the most decorated Olympic athlete from Brazil, having won two gold medals, three silvers, and a bronze. Andrade recently shared some highlights of her native Brazil on Instagram. In some of them, she posed in a swimsuit while wading. Andrade captioned the post, “SC-&-RS🏕️🌅❤️ Being free is a paradox. It's committing to the life you want, without running away from the work that it entails. It's building freedom every day, with conscious choices and, mainly, with the acceptance that freedom is not the absence of limits, but the autonomy to know which ones are worth it and which ones are not. Being free is being willing to carry the weight of your own life and still find it funny.”

She Swims

In her Instagram post, Andrade is seen swimming. The Cleveland Clinic says that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

She Does Gymnastics

Gymnastics is the main way Andrade stays in shape. British Gymnastics states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “When you take part in gymnastics, or any sport for that matter, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These also help to trigger a positive feeling in the body which can have a positive impact on your happiness and mental wellbeing. This can help to combat feelings of anxiety and depression.”

She Prioritizes Safety

Andrade talked about her training approach in an interview with the Olympics website. She says that she and her coach prioritize her safety, and that she will skip floor sessions if she isn’t able to do it. "I talk a lot with my coach and we trust in each other. We always try to be really safe, and do floor in the correct moments. He believes in me. I'm never going to lie to not do it. So, when I really tell him that I can't do it, it's because I cannot and he always respects that.”

She Sets Goals

In her Olympics website interview, Andrade talked about her commitment and goal setting. Specifically, she talked about her goal to make the Olympic team. “The other [goal], which is the main one, is for us to qualify as a team,” Andrade said. “I think it will be very important for me, for my team, and the focus is on that, whatever happens there, the result is a consequence of our work, of our commitment.
