CrossFit Athlete Carolyne Prevost in Two-Piece Workout Gear "Does Feet Drills and Jumps"

Prevost balances CrossFit, hockey, and teaching with energy and positivity.

Carolyne Prevost, a CrossFit athlete, hockey pro, and high school teacher, exemplifies the dedication and versatility needed to excel in both her athletic and professional life. Recently, she shared a video on Instagram showcasing her explosive jump workouts, captioning it, "Ended the training day with some fun 🔥 feet drills and jumps 🤩." Whether she's testing her strength with deadlifts, perfecting handstands, or navigating obstacle courses, Prevost brings energy and focus to every movement. Her commitment to maintaining a positive mindset, even when faced with challenges, reflects her belief in consistent growth and hard work. Here's how Carolyne combines fitness, fun, and perseverance to stay in peak condition.

1

She tests obstacles

She has fun, testing out some different obstacles. "Fun little afternoon with @itslex24 at @pursuitocr testing some new obstacles! If you haven't checked them out, it's a good playground for adults of all abilities😜#ocr #obstaclecourse #fitness #playground #todotoronto," she said on an Instagram video.

2

She does handstands

She takes handstands to the next level, completing workout challenges while in a walking handstand. "With @crashcrucible coming up in a few weeks, I got some touches on handstand walk obstacles. @btwbapp @itslex24 @wodndone @cf_colosseum #CrossFit #Handstand #walk #obstacles #skillwork #balance #toronto #cf #colosseum," she said on Instagram.

3

She does pull-ups

She takes pull-ups to the next level, adding some intensity behind each movement. "Audition for LA2028 coming up at @northern_california_classic 🤪🤸🏻‍♀️ . Just trying to channel my inner @simonebiles during this gymnastics complex programmed…What do we think of this ?! 🤣," she said on an Instagram video of her doing pull-ups on the bar.

4

She deadlifts

She deadlifts, working to build her strength. "Don't have much experience with the Sumo Deadlift but it's nice to know I can still pull 4💯 off the floor 😊. I'm not at my strongest right now as I've been working more on my running this summer so I was happy with this one," she said on Instagram. According to the Mayo Clinic, "your body fat percentage will increase over time if you don't do anything to replace the lean muscle you lose over time. Strength training can help you preserve and enhance your muscle mass at any age."

5

She's positive

She aims to have a positive mindset, even in tough situations, remaining driven and motivated. "Sometimes you have an amazing weekend, sometimes you don't. You only get one chance on weekends like this to make it count. Sometimes the workouts favour us, sometimes they don't. What you can control is your attitude and mindset, and continue to put your head down and put in work," she said on Instagram.
