Samantha Briggs is a powerhouse in the world of CrossFit, known for her legendary performances and relentless drive. As one of the athletes featured at the recent Rogue Invitational, she brought her signature energy and grit to the event. On Instagram, Briggs shared highlights from the competition, captioning her post, “Another awesome day @rogueinvitational. I hope us LEGENDS managed to entertain you this afternoon 🤪.” When she’s not competing, Briggs is dedicated to sharing her training routines and fitness tips with her followers, offering insights into the workouts that keep her at the top of her game. From intense squats to playful moments with her dogs, here’s how Briggs stays in peak condition.

1. She Does Squats

Briggs shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is squats. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself doing them with a weight. Briggs captioned the post, “Even on leg day we work the biceps 💪🏻Heavy damper bike sprints into tempo goblet squats for the win today. 5 rounds. 20 cal C2bike damper 10. 10 tempo heel elevated goblet squats. 1 minute rest. Not long now until @rogueinvitational so throwing in a few leg burner workouts ready for whatever fun they have planned for us 💪🏻”

2. She Runs

Briggs likes to run to keep herself in shape. She is seen running on a treadmill and revealed that she trained for a marathon in this Instagram post. Briggs captioned it, “This weekend @harrietroberts & Run 60 for spines is hoping to raise awareness for spinal cord injury research … basically they are running 5km on the hour for 12 hrs 🫠In conjunction they’re hoping people will join in with their 1/2 marathon challenge … grab some friends and make a team to complete 21.1km.”

3. She Plays With Her Dogs

Briggs has two dogs, whom she features on her Instagram. She shared this video of herself training her pups outside. Briggs captioned the post, “Tonight’s sunset good boy training 🐾It’s easy to get them to sit and wait for a treat one on one … when they’re both there the difficulty is getting them to only want their treat, as like all brothers they usually want whatever the other one has 🤣”

4. She Pushes Herself

Briggs makes sure to push herself when she trains. One way she does so is by using gym machines. Briggs talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Ass to grass 🍑Don’t get me wrong squatting a barbell will always be 🔑But something I’m learning to embrace is using machines to target different ranges, tempos and just generally experiment with to help rebuild leg strength. Taking the feet forward on the smith machine makes the movement mimic the hack squat. I would normally just go to just below parallel but when challenged to get your ass on the floor you have to prove you can right 😝”

5. She Does Hamstring Exercises

Briggs likes to do hamstring exercises. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them. Briggs captioned it, “Not quite sure what you’d call these … kneeling RDLs??? 3 sets of 6 slow and controlled had me questioning life! Something so seemingly simple really got the hamstrings fired up and had me shaking like crazy 🫨 All this posterior work getting the 🐷strings ready for bulking season with @rogueinvitational only a month away time to make some gainz.”
