Ester Ledecká, a professional snowboarder from the Czech Republic, is known for her athletic prowess on the slopes, but she recently gave her Instagram followers a humorous glimpse into her everyday life. In a playful post, Ledecká compared her vacuuming skills to those of her trusty Roomba, affectionately named Bob, captioning the video, “Me vs. Bob.” When she's not making her followers laugh with lighthearted moments, Ledecká is busy staying in top shape. From snowboarding, her primary sport, to golfing, surfing, and cycling, she embraces a wide range of physical activities to keep herself fit and healthy. Her dedication to staying active, combined with her fun-loving spirit, showcases how she balances elite competition with everyday enjoyment.

1. She Snowboards

Snowboarding is the main way Ledecká stays in shape. The sport is very beneficial for your health. The University of Rochester reports, “Skiing and snowboarding are thrilling activities and great workouts. Both sports are excellent cardiovascular exercises that strengthen the heart. They are also weight-bearing exercises. So hey strengthen your bones as they tone your muscles. Cardiovascular or aerobic exercises also work to reduce your risk for ongoing (chronic) diseases. They lower your blood pressure. And they help you maintain a healthy body weight. Through regular aerobic exercise like skiing and snowboarding, you lower your risk of developing conditions like diabetes and heart disease, having a stroke, and perhaps even getting cancer.”

2. She Has A Stationary Bike

Ester LedeckáEster Ledecká /Instagram

Ledecká owns a stationary bike. She is even seen cleaning it in her recent Instagram video. Using a stationary bike has a lot of benefits. Penn State PRO Wellness says, “A 2010 study (Trusted Source) found that indoor cycling, combined with a low-calorie diet, was effective in reducing body weight and body fat in the study’s participants. It was also effective in lowering cholesterol and triglyceride levels. The participants cycled for 45 minutes three times per week, and they consumed 1,200 calories per day for 12 weeks.”

3. She Golfs

Ledecká does a lot of other sports in addition to snowboarding. One thing she likes to do is play golf. She shared this video on Instagram of herself taking a swing. Ledecká captioned the post, “Here we go.” Better Health states that playing golf has a lot of benefits. “Playing golf regularly can help you: stay fit, improve muscle tone and endurance, lose weight and body fat.

Golf can also: be a great way to keep in touch with friends, help in reducing stress (as a result of the physical activity and also due to the pleasure of walking in an open and natural environment), provide opportunities to meet new people, help develop a sense of community connectedness.”

4. She Surfs

Ledecká spends a lot of time in the water. She shares a lot of Instagram posts of herself at the beach. One thing she likes to do is surf. She posted this video of herself surfing, captioning it, “Got some new gear from @point7official and @av.boards and nobody’s gonna get me out of the water now💙🤙🏽 I got new equipment from @point7official and @av.boards and now no one can get me out of the water💙🤙🏽”

5. She Swims

Another thing that Ledecká likes to do when she’s at the beach is going for a swim. She shared this video on Instagram of herself in the water. The Mayo Clinic states that swimming has a lot of benefits. "Swimming is a wonderful sport. I definitely recommend swimming for people of all ages," says Dr. Matthew Crowe, a Mayo Clinic orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine expert. “Swimming is easy on the joints, and it's very good for both cardiac health and your core strength. And it also can give you really excellent strength around the shoulders, and hips and knees.”

Slovakian Alpine skier Petra Vlhova is taking her time recovering from a knee injury that knocked her out of competing for the rest of the season. Vlhova, 28, shared a video of herself wearing shorts and a black shirt, walking slowly and steadily on a treadmill, wearing socks but no shoes. “You will slowly move on...☺️,” she captioned the post. “The queen is back 🔥❤️‍🩹👑,” a fan commented. Here’s what Vlhova training and wellness regimen looks like, both in season and out.

1. Intense Training

Vlhova doesn’t really have any down time—when she’s not competing, she’s training. “The whole summer is one big preparation,” she told Pravda Sport. “I'm still just training. If I ski in the morning, I have heavy fitness training in the afternoon and I'm done in the evening. However, the most difficult are probably the runs, when my heart rate is high... I reached the bottom of my strength when I completed the motocross race in Žaškov and on the same day in the evening I ran the Night Run in Liptovský Mikuláš. The next morning it was very difficult… However, I realize that I have to pass it if I want to be good and rule the winter on skis. It's part of skiing life. And it was never easy.”

2. Krav Maga and Speed Skating

Vlhova’s unorthodox training methods include speed skating, tennis, kayaking, and Krav Maga. "Skiing is an outdoor sport and I think it’s not good to confine yourself to those four walls,” her Italian coach Livio Magoni told Olympic Channel. “A top skier needs to adjust to the different situations they face. When I work on her fitness I often come up with new exercises which are functional for her and her weaknesses, it’s a constant work in progress."

3. Motocross Fan

Vlhova loves motocross riding. “A lot of people think I'm just going for a ride,” she told Pravda Sport. “It is not true. I practice balance, coordination, I strengthen my stomach, legs and arms, and of course, it's also about courage. It's a good workout and I'm glad I can do something I enjoy in preparation. I'm not the only one. Austrian Marcel Hirscher and Henrik Kristoffersen also ride. Some may argue that it is dangerous, but I can also break my leg by stumbling. At least that's how I see it."

4. Love For Mikaela Shiffrin

Vlhova has deep respect for her competitor Mikaela Shiffrin, who hugged her after she made a mistake during a race in Maribor, Slovenia. “I have a big respect for Mikaela because for me she is a true champion: she won a lot of races and now she's the best skier in the World Cup,” she told Olympic Channel. “It was a nice hug: I just finished fifth, I made a mistake and I was really sad. She came and she gave me a hug and it was nice because sometimes you need it...We have a good battle all the time when we race so it was a nice gesture.”

5. Stronger With Age

Vlhova feels herself getting stronger with age. “After the season, we told each other in the team that I have to work on strengthening the upper part of the body, and that is what is happening,” she told Pravda Sport. “Every year I feel stronger, also because I am developing and getting older. It comes with age, I realize that I need to be stronger and stronger. After the holiday I have another week of hard training and then I will just maintain myself until the start of the season.”

Kristina Nicole, aka Kristina Mendoza, is showing off her muscles – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post, the influencer and bodybuilder flaunts her impressive physique in a white sports bra and black booty shorts as she poses at the gym. “You’ll never win —> if you’re too scared to lose,” she captioned the Instagram photo. “Beautiful,” commented one of her followers. “Whoa that tricep is in 3D 🔥,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

RELATED: 20 Amazing Bodies of Stars Who Lost Weight

Hamstring and Quads Training Days

Mendoza trains both her hamstrings and quads on the same day, adding in adductors. “I like to burn them out a little bit before I get into the compound movements like the leg press or squat machine,” Mendoza explained. After a brief introduction, Mendoza then demonstrates each of the movements that she likes to work with

Hydrating Throughout Workouts

Mendoza makes sure to take a “water break” several times during her workouts. The Mayo Clinic explains hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Mastery is Key

“Mastery is a mindset: It requires the capacity to see your abilities not as finite, but as infinitely improvable. Mastery is a pain: It demands effort, grit, and deliberate practice. Mastery is… never fully reaching mastery but always striving to get there,” Kristina captioned a post.

Stretching

Before lifting, Kristina warms up on the bike and also stretches. “I like to start with lighter weight for the first couple of sets before I work up into my working sets,” said. She performs two to three lighter sets before doing one working set. She follows that up with a “back-off” set that is lighter weight and has more reps. “Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints,” says Harvard Health. “Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.”

Training During the Off-Season

Kristina explains that most of her progress is made in her offseason. “There’s a lot of calories going in. Training gets more and more intense as the calories go up,” she said, adding that she used to train legs twice a week, but now only does legs once. “I’m trying to bring my upper body up, be a little more symmetrical with the legs, so I have better flow and balance onstage,” she told Muscle & Fitness.

`

Jenneke also shared her diet secrets with Body & Soul. She shared her favorite breakfasts for training day. “It really depends on what my training day looks like, but if I’ve got training in the morning (which I often do at the moment) I’ll have cereal generally before I go out and train. Then, I actually love having a Milo after a hard session – it’s got good levels of protein and iron in it – and then I make myself a second breakfast, which could be muesli with yoghurt or bacon and eggs.”

3. She Dances

Jenneke likes to dance before a meet. "The dancing preparation is good," Jenneke said to The New Zealand Herald. "People see me doing a dance on the track and it's part of my enjoyment ... I love being there and I love racing and that's how I express that. If you watch me during my warm up I'm dancing the whole way through it. I've always got music playing and I'm just really getting into it, it's how I pump myself up for the race."

4. She Swims

Jenneke loves to swim to stay in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself snorkeling in the ocean. Jenneke captioned the post, “A little taste of my amazing holiday in the Whitsundays last week 🌴⛵️ @suncoastcharters @hamiltonisland #gopro 🎶 Born To Be Yours - Kygo & Imagine Dragons.”

She Trains Consistently

Jenneke shared her training secrets with Body & Soul. She says that consistency is important. “I do three track sessions a week, and they can be from 2-3 hours each, which can be full on. You do some warm up, a hurdle session, and then a sprint session after that.”

Karolína Plíšková, one of the tennis world’s top-ranked athletes, is known not only for her impressive skills on the court but also for her dedication to fitness. Recently, she gave fans a glimpse into her workout routine by sharing a post in her two-piece workout gear, enjoying some downtime in the great outdoors. Balancing strength training, cardio, and outdoor activities, Plíšková demonstrates how she keeps her body in top condition for her demanding sport. From weightlifting to hiking, the tennis star emphasizes the importance of maintaining a strong, flexible, and well-rounded physique, all while making time for rest and relaxation. Here's how she stays in peak shape year-round.

1. She Lifts Weights

To get into shape to hit the courts, Plíšková lifts heavy weights. “Strength training, whether performed with weights, bands, machines or your own body weight, is important for your long-term health,” CNN reports. “Also known as resistance training, it increases muscular strength, endurance and bone density.”

2. She Does TRX Workouts

A quick way to strengthen and tone is to do TRX workouts, which Plíšková does in this video. “TRX is a phenomenal alternative to weight machines as it’s portable. In addition, it can be done anywhere plus the gym, home or even on the road,” the Trifocus Academy states. “Plus, suspension training is an efficient training tool for people of all levels of fitness as it’s adjustable. The site adds, “By altering the angle of your body, or where you stand, you are able to make exercises more difficult or easier. In addition, TRX is a safe way to train many people with knee and back issues as it lowers the pressure on those areas.”

3. She Uses a Medicine Ball

Medicine,Balls,On,The,Ground,In,A,Gym,,Focus,IsShutterstock

Another go-to workout for the tennis star is a medicine ball, which she paired with her TRX workout. “Medicine balls are weighted exercise tools that are great for building strength, especially in your core muscles, and enhancing your power and coordination,” TRX Training states on their site. “When you use medicine balls for exercises like throws, slams, or rotational movements, you're working multiple muscle groups at once. This can boost your calorie burn, increase muscle endurance, and improve your athletic performance.”

4. She Hikes

To break up the routine of the gym, but still getting a good workout, hiking is a great way to burn calories, while enjoying the outdoors. Plíšková posted herself hiking and taking in the beautiful view from the top of a mountain with the caption, “Sunday hike.” “Going up and down hills gets the heart pumping, creating a great cardio workout,” Piedmont states on their site. “Like most cardio exercises, hiking helps reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and even some cancers.

5. She Mixes Up Her Workouts

To stay in top-notch shape, Plíšková does a variety of exercises and mixes up her routine with cardio. According to Ohio Health, there’s many reasons to switch up your workouts. “Your body has a way of becoming too accustomed to routine activity, which prevents you from progressing toward your fitness goals. Challenge your body at least twice a week to a workout that you aren’t used to.” The site states, “For instance, instead of running on the treadmill or the road, head for a wooded trail or local park. This minor tweak will have your body working harder as it adjusts to the new terrain and in turn, build muscle and cardiovascular endurance as well as burn more calories.”

In his TikTok, Wahlberg is seen enjoying eggs with sausage. According to University Hospitals, eggs have a lot of health benefits. “At 70 calories each, eggs are a stellar protein source and a nutritional powerhouse. When eaten as part of a balanced diet, eggs provide multiple health benefits and are unlikely to pose a risk for heart disease.”

He Eats Salmon

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying salmon. The Mayo Clinic states that salmon has a lot of benefits. “Seafood in general, and salmon in particular, is a good choice for protein in the diet. If you can use salmon in place of a higher fat meat, that's even better. Salmon is probably best known for its omega-3 fatty acids. Called EPA and DHA, these fats may support heart health, brain function and healthy joints.”

He Likes Lemon Juice

Wahlberg is seen enjoying lemon juice in his TikTok. St. Vincent’s Medical Center states that lemon is very beneficial. “Weight-loss studies have also noted the effects of lemon. Drinking lemon water, which keeps you hydrated, increases your metabolism. One glass burns at least six calories. It can also help you feel full, making it easier to resist an urge to snack.”

He Likes Olive Oil

Another thing that Wahlberg is seen eating in his TikTok is olive oil. According to The Cleveland Clinic, olive oil has a lot of health benefits. “EVOO contains more than 20 types of polyphenols, a category of plant-based chemical compounds that help protect your heart and reduce inflammation throughout your body. Polyphenols are a type of antioxidant.”

He Gets Enough Protein

Protein is a big part of Wahlberg’s diet. He is not only seen eating high-protein foods like eggs and salmon in his TikTok, but he is also seen eating protein bars and powders. Piedmont states that protein is extremely important. “Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage and skin. In fact, your hair and nails are composed mostly of protein. Your body uses it to build and repair tissue.”

He Eats Blueberries

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying blueberries in his TikTok. The Cleveland Clinic states that blueberries have a lot of benefits. “Because blueberries are high in fiber and lower in sugar when compared to other fruits, they don’t cause your blood sugar to spike. For people with certain health conditions, scientists suspect this positive effect could aid with blood sugar management.”

Rita Ora isn’t just a chart-topping singer and TV star—she’s also serious about staying fit. Whether she’s lighting up the stage with hits like Black Widow or guessing contestants on The Masked Singer, Ora makes sure to carve out time for the gym. In a recent Instagram post captioned "Come to the gym with me," she gave fans an inside look at her workout routine, and it’s packed with powerhouse moves. From treadmill runs to Pilates, here’s exactly how she keeps her body in top shape.

She Strength Trains

Ora is seen using dumbbells and a weighted shoulder press machine in her Instagram video. Both of these are considered strength training exercises. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Runs On The Treadmill

The first thing Ora does at the gym is run on the treadmill. Healthy Talbot states that this has a lot of benefits. “Jogging or running on a treadmill helps to lose weight as well as burn fat quickly and effectively. Yet it’s easier on your knees and joints than outdoor running. This is the most popular advantage of working out on a treadmill workouts. Besides, these workouts burn calories at a faster rate than other aerobic exercises. To burn calories even faster, you just need to run longer and faster on the machine.”

She Does Tricep Exercises

Ora is seen doing tricep curls in her Instagram video. Gymless says that all tricep workouts have a lot of benefits. “Our triceps muscles enable us to extend the elbows, and it is a powerful extender of the forearm. Triceps are often used for pushing, which is utilized in our everyday activities such as opening a door, inserting a plug into a socket, or moving furniture across the room.“

She Does Leg Presses

Ora is also seen using the leg press machine in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic says that this exercise is very beneficial. “The leg press is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work a variety of muscles in the lower body. Specifically, the leg press targets the quadriceps muscles in the front of the thighs, the gluteal muscles in the buttocks, the hamstring muscles in the back of the thighs, and the calves, all in an integrated fashion. Since the leg press works several muscles at once, it's an especially efficient way to strengthen your lower body.”

She Does Pilates

The last workout that Ora is seen doing in her Instagram video is a session on the Pilates reformer. Pilates has a lot of health benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “Pilates is a form of strength training, but it doesn’t look like some of the other strength training exercises you might be familiar with. Pilates focuses more on improving muscle tone than building muscles, but the result is similar: greater stability and endurance. Pilates isn’t going to bulk you up — if anything, it’s designed to cultivate a longer, leaner look. Still, it can lay a strong physical foundation for muscle-building activities — and may even reduce your likelihood of injury.”

I don't have anything on them today really, except this product, but it's the Rare Beauty lifting gel stuff. I mean, Selena, 'thank you' is all I can say. I love it, so I'm going to put it up so that you know what it is, but that's what it is. That is the brow lifting that people are talking about. That's all I got."

For Hewitt, fitness is all about variety. “I try to switch it up a bit,” she told OK! Magazine. “I’ve found that if every week I do something different it tricks my muscles into not getting used to doing any one thing. I’ve been doing pilates, I’ve been doing yoga, I’ve done just plain old walking. I wear 10 pound weights on my ankles while I’m working just so that as I’m moving during the day I’m constantly building muscle. It’s not great for your back but I’m doing it anyway. I do a booty workout thing that I just did for Shape, which was really fun. And I do Zumba. I have DVDs and I dance around like a crazy person in my house.”
