English Model Pixie Geldof Shares Swimsuit Photo From Greece

Here are her lifestyle habits.

Pixie Geldof is all smiles in her swimsuit. In one of her latest social media posts, the English model-slash-singer gives a wide-eyed grin in her bathing suit while vacationing in Greece. "Wonderful smile," commented one of her followers. "You are so incredibly cute!" added Scout Willis. How does the 32-year-old approach health and wellness? Celebwell rounded up some of her top health habits for approaching physical and mental wellbeing.

1

She Sticks to a Vegan Diet

"I think with sustainability, you just have to do what you can. For me, the main thing I do is living on a plant-based vegan diet," Pixie revealed to Glamour. "The meat and dairy industries are so damaging to the planet. In fact, an Oxford study, which is the most comprehensive study to date about the impact of farming on the planet, said that 'avoiding meat and dairy is the single biggest way to reduce your impact on earth'".

She Runs

Pixie recently completed the London Landmarks Half Marathon. "Honestly can't believe I did it!" she captioned a post. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.

She Hikes

Pixie also enjoys hiking with her friends, an activity that boasts so many health benefits, says the National Parks Service. These include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

She Drinks Coffee

You can often find Pixie with a coffee in hand. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. "It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function," they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

5

She Takes Baths

Pixie loves soaking away the stress. In a recent post, she shared a video of a bathtub. How can baths do your body and mind good? They have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.
