Figure Skater Evgenia Medvedeva in Two-Piece Workout Gear Gets "Active"

She is "active, productive and warm to people and projects."

Evgenia Medvedeva is heating up social media in her workout gear. In a new post the figure skater shows off her amazing body in a two-piece exercise set while at the gym. "October in pictures and videos🍂🍁Active, productive and warm to people and projects🤎," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. "Beautiful 🙏🙇🏻 ♂️," commented one of her followers. "October turned out to be a fiery one 🔥," added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1

Plant-Based Diet

"Do I have a special diet? Eat less. At the same time, I cannot live without glucose and carbohydrates," she said in an interview. "I switched to a plant-based diet and foods that have it all. I feel it helps my body. I have mentally prepared for this for quite a long time and now I understand that I don't have any problems with food, they are gone, and I just have a desire to do something good for my body, as well as for the environment. If there is no inner desire for it, it will not work. This is not a diet, this is a different way of life," she said in another interview.

Tea

In the interview she also revealed that she replaced coffee with matcha green tea. Numerous studies have shown that a variety of teas may boost your immune system, fight off inflammation, and even ward off cancer and heart disease.

No Baked Goods

She also avoids baked goods. "I'm not a fan of cakes and pastries," she told SovSport.ru. "If there is a choice to eat something very high-calorie or fruit and vegetables, I will choose fruits and vegetables, because I will get exactly [the same] pleasure as [I would] from a cake."

Subhead Goes Right Here

Evgenia told Olympics that she leans heavily on her family. "Everybody in this life has to believe in themselves, [but] we're not always in the power to do this," she said. "So we have to have people around us who will believe in us even more than we are believing in ourselves. Sometimes you are in situations [where], I mean, really hands down, you don't know what to do. You just have to have at least one person who will sit in front of you and say, 'Look, you're loved; you're great. Yeah, it's hard time, but we will go through this and you will be amazing.' So that's it."

Mental Health

She also stresses the importance of mental health. "I feel like I'm healthy because I have good relationships with my parents, have a good relationship with my coach, all of them, and I have a good relationship with the food, which is a big deal. And I mean, with my job, and even if something happens, something bad happens, let's be honest, in my life, I can manage it mentally," she told Olympics. "[Now] if something happens, I'm not trying to hide it inside of myself. I'm letting myself to be emotional. I'm letting myself to share it with my friends or with the people around me… that I feel bad and I need help. And it's a really big deal, too, because we really need help when we feel bad and we have to let ourselves do this. Life is so [much] easier when you feel that you are supported and that you're not alone. So, yeah, now I feel like I'm healthy mentally. It takes time. It takes time to understand it and to get used to share with the people."
