She Does Cardio

As you can see from her Instagram post, Joye is seen doing cardio exercises. The Mayo Clinic states that cardio, also known as aerobic exercise, has a lot of benefits. "You may feel tired when you first start regular aerobic exercise. But over the long term, you'll enjoy increased stamina and reduced fatigue. You can also gain increased heart and lung fitness and bone and muscle strength over time."

She Does Squats

Joye shared some of her favorite exercises in this Instagram video. She captioned the post, "Guyssss this one was a BURNERRR 🥵 if you want to make it even more advanced you can add weights!" In it, she is seen doing squats. Allina Health states that squats have a lot of benefits. "The squat is one of the all-around best exercises to do for your lower body. It strengthens and tones muscles in your thighs, butt and calves and improves posture, balance, flexibility and inner core strength. Squatting also improves bone mineral density to keep your bones strong."

She Does Lunges

In the previous Instagram video, Joye is seen doing different kinds of lunges, like reverse ones, alternating lateral ones, and alternating curtsy ones. ACE Fitness states that lunges have a lot of benefits. "Lunges work the biggest muscles in your lower body — mainly the quadriceps, gluteus maximus, and the adductor magnus (the muscle in your inner thigh). Other muscles that come into play are the hamstrings, gluteus medius, calves, and core stabilizers, says Susane Pata, content strategist for the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and NASM-certified personal trainer based in Miami."

She Cooks

Joye shares a lot of her favorite healthy recipes on Instagram. In this video, she is seen making cooked fruit treats with bananas, chocolate, and peanut butter. She captioned the post, "Love any kind of fruit/chocolate combo, but this time upping the protein by adding Greek yogurt and nut butter too! 🤩🍌🍫❣️#" Joye also shared this video of herself making fruit bark, captioning it, "You're gonna love these & they're so easy! Just cover your strawberries with a melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture, top with mixed white chocolate and matcha and freeze!"

5

She Loves Bananas

In the previous Instagram video, Joye is seen making a treat with bananas. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of vitamins. "Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a nutrient that helps your body absorb iron and boosts your immune system's ability to fight illness. Adults need 75 to 90 milligrams (mg) per day. A banana delivers about 10 mg of vitamin C. Vitamin C is one of many antioxidants you can get from food. Antioxidants are important because they cancel out free radicals in your body. Free radicals can build up and damage your cells, leading to disease. But antioxidants like vitamin C keep free radicals in check."
