Vargas shares a lot of her favorite foods on Instagram. In this post, she revealed that she loves figs. She shared the benefits of the fruit in the caption. "Figs are high in calcium, vitamin K, copper and B6. Figs and their leaves are packed with nutrients and offer a variety of potential health benefits. They can help digestion, be beneficial for your heart, and help you manage your blood sugar levels. Fig leaf sap or fig latex is the white milky substance that comes from the leaves of the fig plant or when picking an unripe fig."

She Cooks Healthy Food

Vargas likes to cook healthy food for her family. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. "When I prepare food for my family, I concentrate on eating micronutrients over macronutrients. Example chia seeds are high in ALA and omega 3 fatty acids which are healthy fats. It contains manganese, phosphorus, copper, selenium, iron, magnesium and calcium. Just 1 TBSP is 76mg of calcium. Children need calcium to grow adults need it for bone health and etc. Calcium intake depends on a combination of magnesium, Vit d and vitamin k. 2 TBSP is 111mg of magnesium. Having the magnesium helps proper intake of the calcium. Iron needs copper. In order for iron to be used for synthesizing hemoglobin and red blood cells, it needs the copper carrying protein ceruloplasmin."

In the previous blurb's Instagram post, Vargas is seen making overnight oats. She also shared this video of herself making them. Vargas captioned it, "Here is 4 days worth of overnight oats. I make it with all organic ingredients. The protein powder I am using is third party tested which is why I am using it but I usually switch out to Four Sigmatic protein powder which is both third party tested and organic. She Loves Lentil Stew

Vargas shared this video on Instagram of herself cooking lentil stew. She captioned the post, "I am constantly in the kitchen. I try to meal prep healthy food efficiently. One of my staple dishes is this lentil stew. You do need the insta pot for it and honestly I was not a insta pot fan but this dish made me reconsider it. I just add the ingredients turn it on and leave to do whatever and when I come home dinner is done. I also have a few days worth of dinner. 😏Share this recipe if you want me to make more cooking reels. Just add chopped carrots, celery, onions, 1 can crushed tomatoes, 7-8 cups bone broth, 1 container spinach, bay leaves, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and one bag of lentils."
