Fitness trainer and entrepreneur, Hanna Öberg, works to inspire others on their fitness journey. “The amount of times I’ve heard this or that “women shouldn’t have muscles” through my 16 years in the gym, is actually ridiculous 🥲 in the beginning it made me feel insecure and uncomfortable, today I laugh about it! let this be your reminder to take up space in the gym, do you thing and never let anyone make you feel less or like you don’t belong there,” she said on an Instagram video of her working out. Here’s how she focuses on building muscle and staying fit.

She prioritizes shoulder workouts in her routine. On Instagram, she said “16 years in and those lateral raises haven’t got any easier 🥲 idk which one was the worst today, lateral or the dead stop presses? 🥵 have you tried? here’s a EFFICIENT shoulder workout under 1 hour. no fuss, just basic exercises that will leave you pumped 🔥 details; (never neglect your warmup first sis. make sure to prioritize it!).” According to Harvard Health, “your shoulders need to be strong and limber so you can lift groceries, do housework, prepare meals, drive a car, and do other activities necessary to stay independent.”

2. She has her workout hacks

She has her go-to workout hacks. On Instagram, she said “everything that can ease this situation 😂🥵 here’s an easy hack to make your bulgarians more steady on a bench. either [perform] with one db or two db. if you need more balance support, just hold on to something. and remember, gravity wins - push from your heel straight up! let me know if it helps xx.”
