Sasha Gollish is a fitness coach, running enthusiast, and influencer who shares her journey and tips on Instagram. Known for her inspiring content, Gollish encourages her followers to embrace fitness, resilience, and self-love. Recently, she shared a heartfelt post about her mission, writing, “Join me on my journey as I aim to be a better mentor, advocate, and inspiration paving the way in sport, research, and advocacy.” A runner at heart, Gollish combines her expertise in fitness with a passion for creating inclusive spaces, especially for women. From promoting self-love to bouncing back from setbacks, Gollish proves that fitness is about more than just physical health—it’s about building strength in mind and body.

1. She Runs

Gollish shares a lot of running content on her Instagram. She shared this post of a race she did. Valley Oaks Health states that running has a lot of health benefits, including helping with your sleep. “The positive impacts of a run extend beyond the finish line and into bedtime. Studies show that aerobic exercise such as running can significantly improve the quality of sleep, even for those suffering from insomnia. Running has also been linked to a reduction in daytime drowsiness, meaning you’ll have more energy for your day and less fatigue to fight through.”

2. She Maximizes Her Workouts

When Gollish works out, she makes sure to get the most out of it. She shared her tips for maximizing workouts in the caption of this Instagram post. “5 Tips to Maximize your Training Gains. 1️⃣ Include a proper warm up 2️⃣ Strengthen your accessory muscles 3️⃣ Incorporate both strength training and cardiovascular stimuli 4️⃣ Do things you love that move your body 5️⃣ Maximize your sleep to recover better (psst This is where a natural sleep supplement like @thirdzyhq can do wonders).”

3. She Wants To Inspire Others

One thing that Gollish is passionate about is inspiring others, particularly women. She revealed in the caption of this Instagram post that this is why she’s a fitness coach. “As a researcher, coach, and advocate, I’m passionate about creating supportive spaces where women can feel strong, confident, and connected. This study is about much more than fitness—it’s about finding strength, resilience, and community through sport. ✨🤝🏃‍♀️💥 We want to help you to build inclusive environments where every woman feels empowered to move her mind and body. 🏃‍♀️💥”

4. She’s All About Self-Love

Gollish wants to promote the concept of self-love. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Yup, I’m human. And every time I open these photos from the @wabudapest23 championships, instead of seeing an amazing accomplishment, I see my thunder thighs. I don’t see the strength and the beauty in my thighs immediately. I compare them to what I think my thighs are supposed to look like. My thighs are meant to look exactly as they do. Because they allow me to continue to pursue the things I love at a high performance level. Give yourself a little self compassion and a lot of self love.”

5. She Doesn’t Let Setbacks Define Her

Gollish does a lot of races, and they don’t always go well. However, she doesn’t let these setbacks define her and hold her back. Gollish talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “I had a blast out there! The views were incredible. Why was I focused on the views? Because my calves seized 1k into the race. So I kept having to turn around and face downhill to stretch them out. Instead of getting angry and frustrated with myself and circumstance I just embraced it. Bad races happen. They don’t define you. What defines you is how you react, not even in the moment but overall (yes, it is ok to be mad sometimes!). Thank you to every human who made me laugh and smile out there, especially @michellesammet for capturing this video towards the finish.”
