Hannah Eden is a fitness trainer and triathlete. She recently welcomed her first child, and has been documenting her workouts pre and post-baby. Eden shared a reel of herself doing different strength training exercises, talking about how society expected her workouts would slow down when she got pregnant and had a baby. She is seen still working out despite those expectations. Eden captioned it, “Now it’s… ‘Just you wait till you have a second…’ My response is… just let me live my life and please stop projecting your fear onto me.”

1. She Lifts Weights

As you can see in her Instagram reel, Eden is seen doing strength training workouts. According to The Mayo Clinic, strength training has a lot of benefits. “By stressing your bones, strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories.”

2. She’s Consistent

Eden is consistent when it comes to her fitness. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram video. “Today I took a moment to reflect and appreciate the consistent dedication I have put into fitness for the past 11 years… I remember signing my contract to a CrossFit gym back in 2012. It was like I was signing a contract with myself to never give up. It doesn’t happen overnight but all my hard work is paying off as I feel myself getting stronger by the day at 3 months postpartum. Don’t wait any longer. Show up today and don’t expect results for a while. It’s a long game… don’t don’t waste any more time wishing and waiting… JUST GO! I’m grateful for the journey and lessons along the way. Daily deposits lead to great results emotionally, physically, and mentally.”

3. She Does Cold Plunges

Eden likes to do cold plunges. She talked about why she loves them in the caption of this Instagram post. “Ever wondered why cold plunging is all the rage? 🌊✨Here are 4 amazing benefits: 1. Boosts Your Immune System 🛡️2. Reduces Muscle Soreness 🏋️3. Elevates Your Mood 😃4. Enhances Circulation ❤️Get out of your comfort zone and dive into the benefits of the discomfort! ❄️💙I challenge you to plunge today for 90 sec- 3 minutes… if you don’t have a tub hit a COLD shower and let me know how you feel afterwards in the comments!”

4. She Runs

Eden loves to run to stay in shape. She shared this post on Instagram of herself doing so. Eden captioned the post, “Zone 2 run yesterday.Got 11.9 miles under the scorching sun ☀️ 96 degrees Fahrenheit here in Texas with no shade…That was a DOOZY! I like putting myself in uncomfortable situations often. It’s workouts like these that make a difference for me. It’s where the magic lives 🪄”

5. She Slows Down

Eden talked about how her approach to work has changed in the caption of this Instagram post. She says that she has learned the importance of slowing down. “It has taken over a decade to figure out that more doesn’t always mean more. Sometimes you need to slow down to speed up, to zoom out and set your systems up to work for you rather than against you. I believe how you do one thing is how you do everything but the problem was that I poured all my energy into work that I had nothing left for any other part of my life… Insert burnout here** it has taken major adjustments internally and systemically within my business to discover there is another way!”
