Jessica Olie is a renowned fitness trainer with a massive following on Instagram, where she shares not only workouts but also personal reflections. Recently, Olie revealed the story behind one of her tattoos, explaining it was inspired by something her swimming coach once said: “The idea of the tattoo came from something my swimming coach used to say to me years ago, that our choices ultimately shape who we become, that we are always one choice away from a different outcome.” Olie believes in showing up fully in every moment, even when choices are limited. Here's how she stays grounded and healthy, both physically and mentally.

1. She’s Realistic

When it comes to her fitness, Olie makes sure to be realistic with her goals. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Building muscle takes longer than you think… Let that sink in because I just WISH someone had told me that in the beginning to manage my expectations. Sure, I had made a really good start and don’t get me wrong, I was making progress and I was SO proud of myself. Now, looking back at 12 weeks, I hadn’t even scratched the surface of what my body and my mind were capable of. So take it from someone who has been there and learnt so much in the process… Be realistic with your progress and the expectations you place on your body or you will just feel like you’ve failed when you haven’t.”

2. She Does Pistol Squats

Olie likes to do pistol squats to stay in shape. She shared her routine in the caption of this Instagram post. “There are a couple of things to remember about the Pistol Squat…1. It’s hard, really hard so don’t beat yourself up if you can’t do them just yet, it takes time! 2. This skill requires strength AND flexibility, you have to have both or it won’t work! 🦋 METHOD + EXERCISES 🦋🌱 WARM UP — these are a few of my favorites to do to prep, you’ll need to warm up your ankles nicely and open up your hamstrings! 🌱 BENCH MODIFIED PISTOL SQUAT — my favorite intro to a pistol squat, this drill focuses on developing uni-lateral or single side strength and balance. As you get stronger, the box can be lower! 🌱 ASSISTED PISTOL SQUAT — once you have the hang of the box, you can now add these into your routine, the goal is to mimic the movement pathway with a little bit of support, so only use the wall/pole as much as you need to. 🌱 NEGATIVE PISTOL SQUATS — the final progression is away from the wall, focusing on the lowering part of the movement only! This is how you will build the most strength. The hardest part is to get the depth, so make sure you lower ALL the way down — even if you fall back onto your butt.”

3. She Does Pull-Ups

Olie likes to do pull-ups to stay in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them. Olie captioned it, “The only way to improve your grip strength is by gradually doing more of the movements that CHALLENGE your grip strength. You cannot expect something to go from hard to easier if you aren’t doing it. You have to do it for it to get easier. Also it’s hard. Pull ups ARE hard. The hardest actually. They don’t get easier but you get stronger — Just not overnight. Hanging from a bar if you’ve never done it before is hard. So you start small and you build up. Hold it for as LONG as YOU can. Maybe that starts off as a few seconds. Every week, hold it longer. Then 5 seconds becomes 10, into 15 into 20 etc…”

4. She Swims

Olie loves to swim to stay in shape. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself in the water. Olie shared these photos of herself swimming, captioning them, “Happiest when I’m in the sea.” She also posted this set of photos, and captioned them, “Nothing takes more courage than putting yourself back together again. - Unknown.”

5. She Doesn’t Track Her Food

Olie shared some of her favorite wellness tips in the caption of this Instagram post. She says that she doesn’t believe in tracking her food. “You don’t have to track calories. Counting every single thing I eat is not for me and it doesn’t have to be for you either. Focus on building a sustainable routine that works for YOU and your goals, viewing food as fuel and giving yourself the flexibility to enjoy everything in moderation.”

Jessica Olie is a very successful influencer. She is known for her fitness content on Instagram. Olie recently enjoyed a trip to Arizona, and did a lot of hiking there. She shared a post on her page of herself and her boyfriend enjoying the scenery. Olie captioned it, “A sky full of stars 🌌 Hiking up in the dark under the stars was so special, I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many at once 🥹✨ No.7 to see the sunrise at the top of Cathedral Rock, I didn’t think we’d get any pink (wait for it) and then all of a sudden the whole sky changed colour 🌄🙏🏼”

She Hikes

As you can see from her Instagram post, Olie likes to hike to keep herself in shape. She shared this post on Instagram of herself and her boyfriend enjoying a morning hike in Sedona. Olie captioned it, “Exploring the world with you 🥹🌵🥾🌄❤️🔥We hiked up Cathedral Rock in the dark to watch the sunrise at the top and it was one of my favorite things we’ve ever done ✨As we walked up, we watched a sky full of stars slowly turn pink just before the sun came up to say good morning 🌅”

She Strength Trains

Olie does a lot of strength training to keep herself in shape. She shared some of her favorite exercises in this Instagram post. Olie captioned it, “When I decided that I wanted to run 57miles (93km) for my Dad for charity in April 2025, I knew my training was going to have to change and running would of course take priority. BUT, my strength training has helped prep my bones and body so nicely for the increase in running and my yoga has of course done wonders for injury prevention. So, I’ve gone from 4 strength sessions a week to 2-3 & 0 runs a few months ago to now 5 x a week.”

She's Consistent

Olie makes sure to workout on a regular basis, no matter how busy her life gets. She shared one of her favorite quick workouts in this Instagram post. Olie captioned it, “To some this might look like an ‘incomplete’ workout, but this is what it looks like when you’re busy and don’t have as much time as normal to train but you still want to get your favorites in and MOVE. So, this is my workout from the other day. It was short, it was sweet and I hit a few of my favorites in 30min. Something is always better than nothing. I always feel better doing what I can with the time I have available to me, even if it looks different sometimes.”

She Does Pull-Ups

Jessica Olie is seen doing a pull-up.

Jessica Olie/Instagram

In the previous Instagram post, Olie is seen doing pull-ups. Gymless states that this exercise has a lot of benefits. “Pull-ups can give size and strength to your upper body muscles. It allows you to target your lats, biceps, traps, and many more muscles. Practicing this consistently along with other variations that target different muscle groups, inevitably will give you the muscular aesthetics that you’re seeking. A study emphasized this by suggesting that this close kinetic chain exercise is designed to increase the muscular strength and endurance of the upper body and torso.”

She Does Lunges

Olie is also seen doing lunges with a barbell in the previous Instagram post. ACE Fitness says that lunges are a form of unilateral training, which makes them very beneficial to do. “Unilateral training is a more effective way to build functional strength (than using both legs) because these types of movement mimic other everyday motions, like walking and climbing stairs — and not just to the working leg. Research suggests the strength gains to the nonworking side are about half of the strength gains of the working side.”

Molly Ava is urging her followers to take a break from fitness when you need it – in her workout gear. In a new post, the fitness influencer reveals that she put on weight during a recent vacation, but she is okay about it. “LIVE YA DAMN LIFE GIRLIE ✨,” she wrote in the Instagram caption, showing off her strong body in a two-piece look. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care and what is her latest message? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. She Once Tried Fat Burning Pills and “Teatox”

Young,Woman,Holding,Packs,Of,Pills,And,Measuring,Tape,InShutterstock

Molly reveals that in 2019 she decided she wanted to lose weight and tried instant fix products, but they didn’t work. “I came to my fitness journey an unhealthy, depressed student, drinking too many VKs and relying only on mac and cheese ready meals and fruit pastilles for fuel. So what did I do? I bought a teatox and some fat burning pills (I wish this was a joke), and clearly that didn’t work. I just had the runs and a weird tummy,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

2. Then, She Discovered Lifting

"So I sat myself down at the start (well February because January was, if you’ll pardon the pun, a shit show) of 2019, and said enough was enough,” she continued in the post. "I bought a gym guide, some protein powder and set myself some goals. I was going to stick to it this time. For the first 2+ years of this journey all I cared about was being small. I just wanted to be lean and slim, I enjoyed lifting I loved feeling strong, but the overriding goal was so be small."

3. She Also Realized You Need to Eat More to Get in Shape

"It’s not just something you wake up with, but one day after realising both my boobs and a** had done a runner I knew I couldn’t live life under 2000 calories forever and something needed to change,” she continued in the post. "So with the help and encouragement of @gymwithwarr we both embarked on our first bulk and honestly it changed my life. I had never felt such enjoyment from food, without any guilt, my body worked so much better, my mental health was a million times more positive, my hair was thicker my skin was healthier and best of all MY LEGS WERE GROWING. I felt like a beast, I trained hard, I kept going and I accepted learning and growing through the tough times, self-doubt and some incredibly testing body image days."

4. Strength Training

Molly’s workouts are now focused around strength training and lifting weights. She does old school moves like chest presses, rows, single leg step ups, and Bulgarian split squats. “Speedy full body(ish) workout,” she captioned a post. “One of those days where you need to be in and out but you want to get the PUMP 🔥 Shoulders, back and lower all HIT 🫶🏼Reps and sets on screen, 60-120s rest between sets (as needed).”

5. It’s Okay to Take Breaks, She Says

Molly’s message in her latest post, is that it’s okay to take breaks from your routine. “This past weekend was the FIRST weekend I’ve had at home in over a month, Life has been a liiiil crazy to say the least but I wouldn’t change a moment of that 🫶🏼I had a whole 9 days of ALL food out on my holiday, 4 days on a hen do, 2 days for Taylor swift, and many other meals out in between and that’s ok it’s been AWESOME 🍕Stepping on the scales after a busy period can be a little scary, especially if you have a fat loss goal, but gaining weight does not reflect on YOU as a person in any way shape or form so don’t you forget that. Am I rushing to loose this weight? No im back at my maintenance calories and kindly letting my body do its thing,” she wrote.

Janet Layug is modeling exercise clothes and driving her followers wild. In a new social media post the Ms Olympia champion shows off her trophy winning body in a pink workout set. She shared the video via Instagram. “Super cute,” commented one of her followers. “Pretty in pink😍💓🌸,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. How She Got Into Bodybuilding

In an interview with Goss, Janet explained how she got into bodybuilding. “I’ve always been very active since a young age. When I first started [training] I didn’t know much about training. I had the mindset that you had to look skinny, and to achieve it do intense cardio and eat light is how to lose weight and to stay fit. I think we all know that that’s far from the truth. I also went to school for nursing. I was definitely intrigued by nutrition, the body, and things related to physiology. Beginning to learn how to train and be on a healthier diet was already something along the lines of what I was interested in in my career,” she explained. However, one day on social media she saw this division within bodybuilding called Bikini, “and I looked at their bodies and they had muscle,” she said. “They were tone and lean. I really admired that look and thought to myself, “I want to set a goal and train like a bikini athlete.” I got a trainer and I started doing research on my own about training and learning about dieting. I didn’t know any of it. It was a lot of work to learn all that.”

2. She Takes the “Holistic” Approach

“I believe the holistic approach is everything. You will not be successful if you don’t have a mental balance along with that physical training. If you don’t have a support system with you. It’s a process to teach people what you’re doing. Not everyone will get it at first, but you give people the chance and be like, ‘Hey, this is what I’m doing.’ Not everyone will support it or your goals. Sometimes you have to just focus on yourself and do what you have to do to get there,” she says.

3. She Educated Herself

“I think it’s important that everyone educates themselves on health and wellness and training and eating better. That’s what began my journey. I learned so much about myself and about my health during my prep along the way. Beyond that, I learned so much about my work ethic and staying persistent and resilient. When people talk about competing at bikini or any other division, you learn so much more than anything physical. There’s so much mental that you can apply in your daily life as well,” she says.

4. She Recommends Working with a Trainer

Personal,Fitness,Trainer,With,Workout,Plan,Close,Up,In,GymShutterstock

Janet recommends working with a professional to achieve your goals in the gym. “I didn’t know anything about training or about nutrition but I took it upon myself to do research to educate myself. If you really want to take it to the next level, you want to take it to someone who has the certified training and knowledge to teach you the proper ways because sometimes you can end up teaching yourself bad habits that aren’t good for you and you wouldn’t even know it. That’s why it’s important to get someone who is certified. Sometimes you don’t see exactly what you’re doing and you teach yourself wrong moves. When you have a pair of eyes on you to help you do things properly, that’s the way to go,” she says.

5. Strength Training

Janet is a big advocate of strength training. “I never lifted a weight. I only ran on the treadmill and I had to learn and teach myself how important it is to do weight training. You burn more fat that way. Your metabolism goes up. You need resistance training. It’s good for your bones and your muscles. It’s hard for some people to understand that it does increase the fat burning process as opposed to just cardio,” she says. “Sometimes there’s this misconception that if you train hard then you’re going to gain all of this muscle. Honestly, it’s so far from the truth. There’s so much that’s involved with building muscles. You’d have to eat a lot of protein and a lot of calories, and that’s not really in our frame in our daily lives. Lifting is how we get that nice sculpted body. It’s how we shred the pounds. I really advocate that you have to do both cardio and weight training in order to reach your fitness goals optimally.”

Jessica Arevalo is hitting the gym in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media pos the fitness model flaunts her amazing body in a sports bra and leggings during a rigorous sweat session. “DO THING’S THAT YOU DON’T WANT TO DO & ACT LIKE YOU LOVE IT!” she captioned the Instagram video. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. She Works Out “The Arnold Way

Jessica discussed her workout method with Simply Shredded, revealing “The Arnold Way,” is her to-to. “The way my dad taught me, it’s the basics but I’ve done it consistently for 2 years and I’m always progressing. I feel all these fancy ways are too complicated. I like to go in there, lift heavy and isolate each muscle group!” she said. She works out five days a week, taking rest days on Thursday and Saturday.

2. Cardio

When trying to cut down she prefers normal cardio over HIIT, “but for my bikini athletes and weight loss clients I do switch it up to both kinds of cardio as they both do work,” she says. “Cardio varies if I’m in comp prep or not. In prep I do 5 days of 20 minute cardio sessions and off-season I do no cardio at all to make maximum size gains.”

3. Her Three Favorite Exercise

Jessica revealed her three favorite exercises to Simply Shredded.

  1. Lunges: “I love lunges because they are the best for keeping those glutes in shape!” she says.
  2. Pull Ups: “Because I love to measure my strength that way and it makes me feel very strong when I can pull my own weight multiple times,” she added.
  3. Plyometrics: “I love plyos because it’s a great full body workout,” she revealed.

4. What She Eats in a Day

  • Meal 1: ½ cup Oats, Fruit & 6 Egg Whites
  • Meal 2: 6 oz. Red Meat, 4 oz. Yams, ½ cup of Vegetables
  • Meal 3: NLA Her Whey Protein, 1 Banana & 1 scoop of Cashew Butter
  • Meal 4: 6 oz. Chicken or Fish, ½ cup of Brown Rice, ½ cup of Vegetables (Asparagus/Broccoli)
  • Meal 5: 5 oz. Chicken & 4 oz. Yams
  • Meal 6: 6 Egg Whites or NLA Her Whey Protein

5. Sobriety

In a September 15 post Jessica revealed she was 3 months sober. “When I started this journey I never knew it would bring me here 3 months later. So grateful for the strength God has given me everyday on this journey. I often get asked if I will ever drink again and the honest answer is I dont know. I dont plan on it but I take it day by day.🙏🏼I don’t miss the black out nights, hangovers & drama that can come with drinking. I feel so much happier, clear minded and 100% myself sober. Looking forward to this sober journey and all it has to offer!” she wrote.

Grace Charis is more than just a golf influencer—she’s a powerhouse on and off the course. Known for blending her love of the sport with a lifestyle that keeps her fit and fabulous, Charis recently shared a video on Instagram, inviting followers to “Come play this par 3 with me!” Decked out in a sleek white visor, matching skirt, and light pink top, she showcased not just her swing but her toned physique. So, how does she stay in such great shape? From perfecting her golf game to hitting the gym, here are the five fitness habits that keep Grace Charis on top of her game.

She Golfs

Golf is the main way Charis keeps herself in shape. Better Health states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Golf provides a stimulating mental challenge combined with a healthy walk in pleasant surroundings and can be played by people of all abilities and ages. Golf can be played on your own or in a team. It may be a casual pastime or a competitive activity. Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”

She Swims

Charis likes to swim to keep herself in shape. She shared these photos and videos on Instagram of herself snorkeling in Japan. The Cleveland Clinic says that swimming has a lot of health benefits, including building your muscles. “The built-in resistance that water provides helps build muscles and makes you stronger. And because water is more resistant than air, swimming does this faster than land workouts like running and biking.”

She Lifts Weights

Charis shared some of her favorite workouts in this TikTok. In it, she is seen doing a lot of workouts with weights. According to ACE Fitness, using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Does Glutes Bridges

Charis is also seen doing glute bridges in her TikTok. NASM states that this exercise has a lot of benefits. “Glute bridges are a useful exercise for building core stability, building glute strength, and improving overall exercise form and function. When performed as a stabilization exercise, glute bridges activate the glutes to function as they are supposed to in other movements like squats, deadlifts, walking, and running. Adding weight progresses glute bridges into a strength exercise, which can build strength in the glute muscles. By increasing glute activation and strengthening the glutes, not only will your form get better in other exercises, but you might also gain the added benefit of reduced low back pain in your everyday life.”

She Does Lunges

Charis is also seen doing lunges with weights in her TikTok. Lunges are very beneficial. The Mayo Clinic reports, “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

Tedeschi is seen doing deadlifts with a weight in this Instagram story. Deadlifts are very beneficial. ACE Fitness says, “The most important benefit of the RDL is that it teaches the proper movement and biomechanics of standing hip flexion and extension. This is the foundational movement for squatting, whether the movement is performed with a weight in the gym or while bending over to pick an object up from the floor.”

Rachel Platten is a very successful singer. She is known for songs like “Fight Song” and “Stand By You.” Recently, Platten announced on Instagram that she will be going on tour this year. She captioned a post, “I cannot wait to see your faces and hug you and cry together and feel our feelings and connect and saaaang!! Tickets go on sale this Monday. But if you’re signed up for my email list then you’ll get an email giving you early access TODAY. See you soon my friends.”

She Opened Up About Her Struggles

After having her first child, Platten opened up about her struggles on Instagram. She tells TODAY that she received a lot of support from others after doing this. "I get flooded with comments from other women and men saying that it's OK, and I'm not alone, I'm not doing a bad job," she said. “It's making me feel not isolated. I could have gone down a road of this being a much darker experience had I not learned early on to be vulnerable and vocalize what I'm going through. That's been a really big life raft for me.”

She’s Comfortable With Her Weight

On her Instagram, Platten revealed that she is not putting pressure on herself to lose pregnancy weight, as she is comfortable with herself. “I am not less worthy of love just because I can’t seem to lose those last 5 or 10 pounds of ‘baby weight.’ I’ve tried it ALL and my body is begging for my acceptance. I am stronger than ever, I am so healthy, I can dance and lift weight and carry my girls and move and live a full beautiful life and am honestly sick of trying to keep shrinking myself back to pre-baby weight. F— it.”

She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Platten shared some of her skincare secrets with Health Insight. “I apply face masks regularly — twice a week or more — and often go to sleep with a thin layer of a hydrating mask instead of a moisturizer. I also have a five-step routine (cleansing, toning, using a serum, moisturizing, and using sunscreen) that I do every morning and night no matter what. It’s a form of meditation for me and reminds me that even when I’m crazy busy there’s always time to breathe and love on myself a little.”

She’s Consistent With Wellness

Platten makes sure to stay consistent with her wellness routine. She shared her secrets with Health Insight. “In addition to my daily routine, I get regular facials (or give myself mini facials when I don’t have time), drink a crazy amount of water, eat healthy foods, and wear hats almost every time I’m in the sun. As cheesy as it might sound, I really do love taking care of my skin and I put a lot of effort into maintaining it.”

She Gives Back

Platten is a big believer in giving back to others. “I think we can remember how powerful we are by giving — giving compliments, our time to charities, and random acts of kindness,” she told Health Insight. “We can feel sad and powerless when we only focus on what we don’t have or don’t want, but we can easily shift this by switching that focus to what we have to offer! In my opinion, nothing is more beautiful or attractive than a woman who knows her worth and power.”
