She Walks

Roup shared her weekly workouts in this Instagram post. She revealed that on Wednesdays and Sundays, she enjoys going for walks as a less intense option. Walking has a lot of health benefits. Harvard Health revealed that walking can help you lose weight. "Harvard researchers looked at 32 obesity-promoting genes in over 12,000 people to determine how much these genes actually contribute to body weight. Among the study participants who walked briskly for about an hour a day, the effects of those genes were cut in half."

5

She Stretches

In her previous Instagram post, Roup revealed that she does a 12 minute stretch session on Saturdays. Harvard Health reports that stretching is very important. "Stretching keeps the muscles flexible and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage."
