Hailey Rae Ostrom, a talented golfer and social media sensation, keeps inspiring fans with her passion for the sport and her dedication to staying fit. Recently, Ostrom shared a video on Instagram showcasing her swings on the course, humorously captioned, “You see my little attempt at a trick.” Golf is just one of the many ways Ostrom stays active, blending her love for the sport with a fitness routine that includes exercises like step-ups and abductor workouts. Her diet also reflects her commitment to health, featuring nutrient-rich options like turkey, while hydration remains a top priority. Ostrom’s lifestyle is a testament to the benefits of combining fitness, nutrition, and discipline to perform at your best on and off the course.

1. She Golfs

Golf is one thing that Ostrom does to keep herself in shape. The sport has a lot of health benefits. Better Health states, “Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more. Playing golf regularly can help you: stay fit, improve muscle tone and endurance, lose weight and body fat.”

2. She Does Step-Ups

Ostrom shared some of her favorite workouts in this YouTube video. In it, she is seen doing step-ups. According to The Mayo Clinic, this exercise has a lot of benefits. “A step-up is a simple body resistance exercise that works muscles in the legs and buttocks. A step-up targets the quadriceps, here, and hamstrings, here, as well as the gluteal muscles in the buttocks. This is a good general lower body conditioning exercise.”

3. She Does Abductors

Hailey Rae OstromHailey Rae Ostrom/Instagram

In the previous YouTube video, Ostrom is seen using the leg abductor machine. Coach UK states that doing this has a lot of benefits. “Strengthening hip abductors is an important facet of maintaining balance, stability, and alignment in the lower body. Their role in pelvic support and reducing the risk of injury makes them a focal point in many fitness and rehabilitation regimens. The gluteus maximus, medius, and minimus along with the tensor fasciae latae comprise the primary hip abductor muscles. By targeting these muscles, individuals can enhance their capacity to lift heavier weights, which in turn contributes to better back support.”

4. She Likes Turkey

Hailey Rae Ostrom.4Hailey Rae Ostrom/Instagram

Ostrom also shared some of her favorite meals in her YouTube video. In it, she is seen making meatballs out of ground turkey. Heart.org states that turkey has a lot of benefits. “Turkey is also rich in things such as: B-complex vitamins niacin, B6 and B12, which help your body turn food into energy and keep your skin healthy. Choline, an essential nutrient that boosts your brain and nervous system health. Important minerals like magnesium, phosphorus, and selenium, which keep your bones and muscles strong and support your immune system. Iron, which is part of hemoglobin that helps carry oxygen from our lungs throughout our entire body. Potassium to support a healthy heart, blood pressure and fluid balance. Zinc to support your immune system.”

5. She Drinks A Lot Of Water

Hailey Rae Ostrom.5Hailey Rae Ostrom/Instagram

Ostrom is also seen drinking water in her YouTube video. Harvard Health states that drinking enough water has a lot of benefits. “Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: to regulate body temperature, keep joints lubricated, prevent infections, deliver nutrients to cells, and keep organs functioning properly. Being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.”

Tania Tare, a professional golfer known for her impressive trick shots, always keeps things fun and challenging. In a recent Instagram post, she humorously swapped a golf ball for a pickleball in one of her signature shots, showing her playful side. While Tare’s skills on the course are impressive, her fitness routine extends beyond just golf. From core exercises to weight training and even swimming, she ensures her body stays strong and balanced to support her game. Tare’s dedication to fitness, combined with her love for challenging herself both on and off the golf course, has helped her become the standout golfer and trick shot expert she is today. Here’s a glimpse into how she maintains her healthy, active lifestyle.

1. She Plays Golf

Naturally, playing golf is one of the main ways Tare stays in shape. According to Randa, golf is a great way to stay fit. “On a regular 18-hole course, most players will walk between four and five miles, burning up to 2,000 calories. If you play golf for at least 150 minutes per week you are meeting WHO global exercise guidelines.”

2. She Works Her Core

Tare makes sure to stay in shape for golf. One thing she does is core workouts. Tare shared some of her favorites in this Instagram post. She captioned it, “‘It’s been 6 months since I joined the gym and still no progress. I’m going there tomorrow in person to see what’s really going on’ 😂 Here’s some core exercises for those of you who want to burn off the isolation McChickens.... @ando_pfs.”

3. She Uses Weights

Tare likes to use weights when she works out. She sometimes uses them when she is working her core. In this Instagram post, she is seen using weights to do crunches, throwing a weighted ball, and using weights to balance her arms. Tare captioned the post, “A possible reason as to why I’ve never had any lower back issues from golf... core exercises like these courtesy of @ando_pfs 🙌🏽 which one do you think is most difficult?”

4. She Challenges Herself

Tare talked about her career in an interview with the Golf 360 Podcast. She says that she made sure to challenge herself when playing golf. “I would always put myself with people who were better than me,” Tare revealed. “So I think that was where I learned the most. And I mean, because it's a male dominated sport a lot of the time, I ended up playing with the boys off the men's tee and stuff like that, and I think that actually really helped me. Then sometimes I would go into tournaments, end up on the women's tees, and it felt like a little bit easier for me, or high fives I knew I could reach into and stuff.”

5. She Swims

Tare loves to swim to stay in shape. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself in the water. Tare shared this video of herself diving into a lake in the Caribbean. She captioned it, “Describe this ‘dive’ in one word... 😂 needless to note: I was never on the swim team!” Tare also shared this photo of herself tubing on the Salt River. She captioned it, “Personal opinion: Just by putting on sunnies, a girl can look significantly better the same way a guy can, just by wearing a hat... with that being said, I don’t think I can take these off! 😂”

Hailey Rae Ostrom is a professional golfer and influencer, known for her appearance on the Golf Channel’s Shotmakers and her active presence on Instagram. Ostrom frequently shares content from the golf course, where she showcases her skills and love for the game. In August, she posted a video of herself doing a successful swing, captioning it, “The best way to start a round.” But Ostrom’s lifestyle goes beyond the green—she’s all about balance, health, and positivity. Here’s how she stays in top shape while enjoying life to the fullest.

1. She Golfs

Ostrom plays golf to keep herself in shape. Golf has a lot of benefits. Circle Health Group states, “As many golf courses are set in picturesque locations, you’ll also benefit from the experience of being in nature. Being outdoors and close to nature can help reduce anxiety and is thought to improve concentration, while partaking in activities outside can help boost self-esteem.”

2. She Surfs

Ostrom will take her golf club anywhere. Even onto the water. Ostrom enjoys surfing as a way to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself surfing with her club. Ostrom captioned it, “Powellpalooza 2024 🔥 feeling extra grateful for this group of amazing friends turned family.”

3. She Loves Avocado

Fresh,Avocados,Pieces,Set,Isolated,On,White,Background.,Top,View.Shutterstock

Ostrom makes sure to eat a healthy diet. One thing she enjoys eating are avocados. Ostrom shared a photo on her Instagram story of herself enjoying them with eggs. Avocados are extremely healthy. The Cleveland Clinic states, “Avocados are a good source of fiber, which is a type of carbohydrate that your body can’t break down. You need both soluble and insoluble fiber — and lucky for you, avocados have both.”

4. She Has Support

Ostrom has a lot of supportive people in her life. She opened up about her relationship with her parents in an interview with Shoutout Arizona. “My parents are a huge part of my success. They taught me to always let my morals guide me in life, business and relationships. They always helped me believe in myself and believe that the REAL version of myself would take me far; I never needed to pretend to be anything but myself. Thank you Mom and Dad!

5. She’s Positive

Ostrom is all about being positive. She talked about this in an interview with People. “One thing I have learned over the years is a good pep talk for myself is to remind myself that a positive attitude is the only thing that you can control," she says. "You can’t always control what other people are doing, or the weather, or whatever else that day, but you can control your attitude. If I have a good attitude, good things are gonna come my way — like hopefully a good putt!”

Nelly Korda, a highly successful golf player, is currently enjoying a trip to Malaysia. She recently shared highlights of her trip on Instagram, where she can be seen on the golf course, at the beach, and relaxing with a coffee. Korda’s posts show her in various workout clothes, offering a glimpse into her lifestyle. Golf remains the primary way she stays in shape, but her approach to fitness goes beyond just the game. Korda focuses on perfecting her technique, grip strength, and impact during practice while incorporating different workouts, like squats and rowing, to stay fit off the course.

1. She Golfs

Golf is the main way Korda stays fit. Better Health states that the sport is very beneficial. “Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”

2. She Focuses On Grip Strength

Korda shared some of the things that she works on when she practices with Golf Monthly. “The first thing you want to check is if you’re gripping it correctly, it makes a huge difference in your swing,” she said. “You could easily be too weak or too strong and it will affect where the face of the club is. So grip is important as well as stance and where your weight is. Once you get those fundamentals all down, it’s so much easier to work on consistency and easier to work on shooting lower numbers.”

3. She Focuses On Impact

Korda also told Golf Monthly that she also focuses on impact when she practices. “I am mainly just working on impact. On the putting green I do a drill because your eye-line and eyesight change every single day. You may see the ball and your line differently every single day, so doing a line drill is really important as you start your putting. Try it for five minutes to make sure you dial in your alignment. Once you do that, then you work on your distance.”

4. She Does Lunge Squats

Korda shared some of her favorite workouts in this Instagram video. One thing she is seen doing is lunge squats with kettlebells. Korda captioned the post, “2 weeks @ home to train. Let’s go!” Squats have a lot of benefits, according to Piedmont. “Squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

5. She Uses A Rowing Machine

Nelly Korda.5Nelly Korda/Instagram

Korda is also seen on a rowing machine in her Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that this has a lot of health benefits. “Your abdominal muscles, lower back, obliques, glutes and hamstrings all get a workout during a session on a rowing machine. If you follow proper form, your core will be engaged during every single step of the rowing process. Strengthening those muscles is also key to maintaining stability and building speed.”

Paige Mackenzie has become a social media sensation, captivating audiences with her golf content and impressive skills on the course. Known for her striking swing and energetic personality, Mackenzie inspires fans with her dedication to both her sport and her fitness. Last week, she posted a video on Instagram showcasing her golf swing and asked followers to rate it, captioning the post, “Rate my swing 1-10.” Beyond golf, she shares her passion for fitness through workout videos, highlighting her ab exercises, stretching routines, and mountain biking adventures. Whether she’s on the course or in the gym, Mackenzie demonstrates her commitment to staying active and living a healthy lifestyle, making her an influential figure in both sports and wellness.

1. She Golfs

Golf is one of the main ways Mackenzie keeps herself in shape. The sport has a lot of benefits. Better Health reports, “Golf provides a stimulating mental challenge combined with a healthy walk in pleasant surroundings and can be played by people of all abilities and ages. Golf can be played on your own or in a team. It may be a casual pastime or a competitive activity.”

2. She Does Ab Workouts

Mackenzie has an impressive set of abs. Naturally, she does a lot of ab workouts. Mackenzie shared this TikTok of herself in the gym. In it, she is seen doing ab workouts like v-sit crunches and toe touches. According to The Mayo Clinic, ab workouts have a lot of benefits. “Your core is the central part of your body. It includes your pelvis, lower back, hips and stomach. The stomach muscles sometimes are called abs. Core exercises train the muscles in your core to work in harmony. This leads to better balance and steadiness, also called stability.”

3. She Does Planks

Paige Mackenzie.3Paige Mackenzie/Instagram

In the previous TikTok, Mackenzie is seen holding a plank. Exercise physiologist, Katie Lawton MEd, tells The Cleveland Clinic that planks are very beneficial. “Plank exercises generally strengthen your ability to brace your abdominals,” notes Lawton. “Planks can also activate other related muscles, such as your glutes (muscles in your buttocks), hamstrings (muscles in the backs of your thighs) and lower back.”

4. She Stretches

Paige Mackenzie.2Paige Mackenzie/Instagram

Mackenzie is seen doing stretches for her legs in the previous TikTok. Stretching is very important. Harvard Health reports, “Stretching keeps the muscles flexible and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.”

5. She Bikes

@paigemackenzie

Mackenzie shared this TikTok of herself biking in the mountains. Biking is a great workout to do. A Healthier Michigan states, “Biking strengthens your muscles. This one, you can feel. When you’re pedaling, you can feel it working your calves, your quads and your glutes. These are all big muscles and working these out regularly can have big benefits not only for calorie counting, but also for stronger, leaner legs.”

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
