Mina Starsiak Hawk, the star of HGTV's Good Bones, is not only a successful TV host but also someone deeply committed to her fitness journey. Recently, she took to Instagram to share a video of herself working out at home, admitting she had fallen off her fitness routine but was determined to get back on track. She opened up about the mental toll she had been facing and how it affected her physically, stating, "It’s often the hard things you don’t want to do that are the exact things you need to do." With a motivating message about hard work, dedication, and self-worth, Hawk is ready to reclaim her fitness and continue hustling toward her dreams.

Hawk makes sure to work hard. She talked about this in the caption of her workout video. “Most really amazing things in life don’t come without incredible amounts of hard work and dedication. Most people don’t have that in them. So be content in a simple life (there’s nothing wrong with that) but if you want more…. Be ready to work your a$$ off, over and over and over again. So, I’m back on the wagon; the workout wagon, the hustle wagon, the figure out what my new dream is and make it happen wagon.”
2. She Does Jumping Jacks

Hawk is seen doing jumping jacks in her Instagram post. Gymless states that the exercise has a lot of benefits. “Jumping jacks is an effective total-body workout that can be practiced nearly everywhere. It works on your heart, lungs, and muscles simultaneously. The primary muscles worked are the glutes, hip flexors, and quadriceps. The secondary muscles worked are the abs, calves, hamstrings, and shoulders (anterior deltoids and posterior deltoids).”
3. She Does Squats

Hawk is seen doing squats in her Instagram post. Piedmont states that squats have a lot of benefits. “Squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back. A squat has more overall benefits than, say, a bicep curl, which strengthens an isolated area.”
4. She Uses Weights

Hawk is seen using weights in her Instagram post. According to The Mayo Clinic, doing exercises with weights is very beneficial. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls.”
5. She Works With A Trainer

Hawk revealed in her Instagram post’s caption that she works with a trainer, who happens to be her husband, to help her stay fit. “Shoutout to my amazing family that is my motivation for literally everything I do and my hubby who is not only my trainer (holler @hawk_fit_ ) but also the one who is here for the roller coaster ride, sometimes unsure (as am I) but always with 100% confidence in me that I will figure it out. Which is more than I can say for myself many days.”
