Gymnast Influencer Nastia Liukin in Two-Piece Workout Gear is "Back From Paris"

Nastia Liukin is modeling some looks from her APL collection. In a new social media post the gymnast shows off her amazingly fit figure in a two-piece workout set and other cute outfits. “Now that I’m back from Paris and slowly but surely taking the time to reflect on the last few months, this is a pinch me moment - still can’t believe we did that. Forever and ever grateful to my @apl fam for believing in us and our vision for round two,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.


1. Daily Exercise

"I always feel better when I get in a workout," she says, "even if it's 30 minutes or 20 minutes of something, every single day," she told Today. "I think the most important thing to know is, you'll never regret a workout when it's over. And it's just hard to tell yourself that before you've done it. But just try to remember how you feel after your workout, and know that when you feel good, you look good, and you have more confidence, and so I think that that's really important."

2. Bodyweight Exercises

"If I do weights, it's probably very light weights, five to ten pounds, no more than that." She does have three go-to exercise moves: A plank for one minute, side plank, 20 minutes per side, and Russian twists.

Nastia boxes “I love boxing with my trainer,” she says. Harvard Health maintains that boxing a great way to build strength, improve balance, posture, hand-eye coordination, boost mood and endurance, and helps increase alertness.

4. Barre Classes, Hot Yoga, Pilates

“I love barre classes and hot yoga. I love Pilates. That really elongates you,” she told The Cut. “Barre helps strengthen and tone your muscles without increasing bulk, and it improves your posture. It also increases cardiovascular endurance and metabolism, which helps to quickly burn calories. Regular barre workouts can increase your bone density, which can help prevent conditions like osteoporosis,” explains Barre studio Physique 57.

4. Clean Eating

Nastia eats clean. "A lot of protein, a lot of vegetables, a lot of greens. I don't really eat too many carbs, and if I do, it's brown rice or quinoa,” she told Today about what she puts in her body.

5. She Golfs

Nastia also golfs. A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.

6. Running

One of her go-to workouts? "The most effective for me is running, though it's not my favorite," she told Today about her go-to workout. "But if I need to get in shape quickly, I need to run." According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.
