IFBB Pro Brittany Hamilton in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Life Lately"
Brittany Hamilton is back at the gym in her exercise clothes. In a new social media post the IFBB pro shows off her amazing figure while revealing that she is training again. "Life lately…Took some much needed time away from the gym . This was my first full week back since my last show in July. I am currently 11lbs up from stage weight and feeling good where I'm at . I will be getting bloodwork done in a week to see where my levels ar . I have zero plans on what's next show wise. The goal right now is recovery and a healthy lifestyle…Mentally physically and emotionally," she captioned the Instagram post. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
Strength Training
Strength training is Brittany's main form of fitness. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:
- Develop strong bones
- Manage your weight
- Enhance your quality of life
- Manage chronic conditions
- Sharpen your thinking skills
Golf
Brittany also golfs. "Little rusty but getting back into the swing of things ⛳️I will definitely be playing more in the offseason 🤗," she captioned a post of herself golfing.
Remembering Why You Are on the Journey
Brittany emphasizes the importance of reminding yourself why you are on the journey. "We have all been here … when we feel we have no fuel left in the tank. But it's the drive, the purpose of why we started this journey in the first place that keeps us going . I knew I would look back at this video and say… I'm glad I showed up that day. Never lose your purpose," she says.
Red Wine
Brittany enjoys the occasional glass of red wine. "Red wine, in moderation, has long been thought of as heart healthy," says the Mayo Clinic. "The alcohol and certain substances in red wine called antioxidants may help prevent coronary artery disease, the condition that leads to heart attacks."
Body Image Issues
Brittany is open about body image issues. "Reality to off season. It's not comfortable and there is a lot of body dysmorphia. Who cares!!!!! if you have the right mindset you can control the struggle to gain the weight that is necessary to build the muscle you need to improve in this sport. If you stay lean and skinny you will always be … well.. lean and skinny. Embrace the thickness and gain the muscle, enjoy the process!!" she captioned an older post.
