How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
1. Weight Training
Strength training is Diana’s go-to workout. “Going to the gym has been my therapy. Weight training has been working as therapy for me. It puts my mind in a better place,” she told Muscle & Fitness. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:
- Develop strong bones
- Manage your weight
- Enhance your quality of life
- Manage chronic conditions
- Sharpen your thinking skills
2. Boxing
Diana is a boxer. Here she is during a boxing workout. Harvard Health maintains that boxing is a great way to build strength, improve balance, posture, hand-eye coordination, boost mood and endurance, and helps increase alertness.
3. Running
Diana is an outdoor runner. She loves going through runs around New York City. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.
4. Meditation
Diana meditates for her mental health. “Finally visited Brooklyn Botanical Garden and it is beautiful Aww those cherry blossoms,” she captioned a photo of herself. “When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress,” says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:
- Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations
- Building skills to manage your stress
- Increasing self-awareness
- Focusing on the present
- Reducing negative emotions
- Increasing imagination and creativity
- Increasing patience and tolerance
- Lowering resting heart rate
- Lowering resting blood pressure
- Improving sleep quality
5. Work Out Schedule
Sometimes Diana focuses on specific body parts. “Today was back/tri and core .. hehe no back/try videos but here is some core,” she captioned a clip. On other days she does legs. Sometimes she opts for a full body workout. “Full body work to start or finish your training routine. Gets absolutely each body part. Since I don’t do burpees ever - this is the substitution,” she captioned a post.
