Check out her fitness routine, from strength training to healthy eating.

Lauralie Chapados, an IFBB fitness competitor with a large Instagram following, recently shared some life updates with her followers, including a gym selfie that showed off her toned abs. Captioning the post, "Golds Moments & a happy busy 🐝," Chapados continues to inspire her audience with her dedication to fitness. Her workout routine includes strength training, jumping rope, and squats, all of which help her maintain her impressive physique. In addition to working out, Chapados focuses on eating healthy, incorporating vegetables and protein-rich foods like eggs into her diet.

1

She Uses Weights

Chapados likes to strength train to stay in shape. In the previous Instagram post, she is seen using weights to stay fit. The Mayo Clinic reports that strength training has a lot of benefits. "By stressing your bones, strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories."

2

She Jumps Rope

Chapados shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. In one video in this post, she is seen jumping rope. ACE Fitness states that jumping rope has a lot of benefits. "Jumping rope can increase the elasticity and resiliency of lower-leg muscles, leading to a reduced risk of lower-leg injuries. Calf raises can strengthen the lower leg, but if the muscle tissue becomes too tight it could increase the risk of a number of lower-leg injuries including achilles tendon strain or plantar fasciitis. Jumping rope regularly strengthens the calf muscles and improves the elasticity of the surrounding tendons and fascia. To increase elasticity, try to land on the ball of the foot first, but let your heels go all of the way down to the ground."

She Does Squats

In this Instagram post, Chapados is seen doing squats. Piedmont states that squats are very beneficial. "Squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back. A squat has more overall benefits than, say, a bicep curl, which strengthens an isolated area."

She Loves Veggies

Chapados makes sure to eat healthy. She shared some of her favorite meals in this Instagram post. Chapados is seen enjoying dishes with a lot of vegetables in them. Harvard Health states that eating veggies is very important. "A diet rich in vegetables and fruits can lower blood pressure, reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke, prevent some types of cancer, lower risk of eye and digestive problems, and have a positive effect upon blood sugar, which can help keep appetite in check. Eating non-starchy vegetables and fruits like apples, pears, and green leafy vegetables may even promote weight loss. Their low glycemic loads prevent blood sugar spikes that can increase hunger."

She Loves Eggs

In the previous Instagram post, Chapados is seen enjoying eggs. The American Heart Association states that eggs are very beneficial. "At just 78 calories each, eggs are an efficient, rich source of protein and vitamins. A large egg contains about 6 grams of protein. Eggs also are a good source of other nutrients, including vitamin D (which aids bone health and the immune system) and choline (which helps metabolism and liver function, as well as fetal brain development)."
