Hope Howard, a successful influencer and YouTuber, often shares her fitness journey with her fans, offering a glimpse into her daily workout routines. In recent Instagram stories and YouTube videos, Howard is seen demonstrating a variety of exercises, from pulldowns to squats, and even some early morning wrestling sessions. With a focus on strength training and functional exercises, Howard's approach to fitness is both challenging and effective. Here's a breakdown of some of her favorite exercises that keep her strong and in shape.

1. She Does Pulldowns

Hope Howard.5Hope Howard/Instagram

In her Instagram story, Howard is seen doing pulldowns. Piedmont reports that the exercise has a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise to strengthen the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back, which promotes good postures and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

2. She Does Squats

Hope Howard.2Hope Howard/Instagram

Howard shared this video on her YouTube channel of herself doing lower body workouts. One thing she is seen doing is squats. Allina Health reports that squats have a lot of benefits. “The squat is one of the all-around best exercises to do for your lower body. It strengthens and tones muscles in your thighs, butt and calves and improves posture, balance, flexibility and inner core strength. Squatting also improves bone mineral density to keep your bones strong.”

3. She Does Kickbacks

Hope Howard.3Hope Howard/Instagram

In her lower body YouTube video, Howard is seen doing kickbacks. Bradley Bishop states that the workout has a lot of benefits. “Peeps may turn to squats, bridges, and lunges for strong glutes and booty-full derriere. But glute kickbacks are one of the most effective moves to transform your tush, boost your balance, and step up your glute strength.”

4. She Does Lunges

Another exercise that Howard does in her lower body YouTube video is stationary lunges. ACE Fitness reports that these are very effective. “Lunges work the biggest muscles in your lower body — mainly the quadriceps, gluteus maximus, and the adductor magnus (the muscle in your inner thigh). Other muscles that come into play are the hamstrings, gluteus medius, calves, and core stabilizers, says Susane Pata, content strategist for the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and NASM-certified personal trainer based in Miami.”

5. She Uses Resistance Bands

Hope Howard.4Hope Howard/Instagram

In her YouTube video, Howard is seen using resistance bands to do kickbacks. Harvard Health reports that bands can be very effective. “They can prepare your muscles for the many types of movements you make throughout the day, such as when you stretch, bend, lift, or simply rise from a chair. In addition, training with bands improves muscle power, which helps you avoid falls and risk of injury.”

Influencer Brittany Perille in Two-Piece Workout Gear Says "Just Start"

Brittany Perille is motivating her followers – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the fitness expert and influencer flaunts her amazing figure while trying to inspire people to get fit. “Don’t worry about where you’re starting from, just start!” she captioned the Instagram video of herself exercising. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Two-a-Days, Six Days a Week

Brittany is serious about exercise. “I stick to this twice-a-day gym schedule six days a week, but work different muscle groups every day. Sometimes I go to the gym on Sundays too, but just to stretch. After eight weeks on this routine, which takes a major toll on the body and mind, I take a week off from heavy lifting to let my body recharge,” she told Cosmopolitan.

2. Glute Work

If you want a backside like Brittany, you are going to have to sweat for it. “I train my glutes up to three times a week for up to an hour and fifteen minutes with about 10 different glutes exercises that isolate the muscles by working them from various angles,” she says. “My favorite butt exercise is most definitely the most effective one: the barbell hip thrust.” Her weight is pretty impressive. “I've gotten up to thrusting 315 pounds.”

3. Deadlifts

“I also do deadlifts, keeping the weight relatively low because I don't want to build bulky muscle in my midsection, and stiff-legged deadlifts, which deliver amazing results to the hamstrings without requiring heavy loads,” says Brittany.

4. Cardio, Stretching, Yoga, and Foam Rolling

Her second workout of the day is more low-impact. “After lifting in the morning, I go back to the gym in the afternoon or evening to do 30 to 45 minutes of cardio, plus stretching, yoga, and foam rolling because it alleviates soreness and aids in muscle recovery,” she says.

5. Eating Small Meals, Every 2 to 3 Hours

“Because I lift such heavy weights, my body is constantly burning calories and I need to eat every two to three hours,” Brittany reveals. “I eat a Quest bar and take a multivitamin before I go to the gym in the morning. After my morning workout, I drink a Legion whey protein shake with a banana. For lunch, I eat chicken with brown rice and bok choy. Before I go back to the gym, I'll have some rice cakes with a little bit of peanut butter. After cardio, I drink a shake made with amino acids. For dinner, I'll have more chicken, with sweet potatos and bok choy. Then I'll eat another protein bar or drink a Legion whey protein shake. I also eat a slow-digesting protein — usually Greek yogurt — right before bed (and sometimes in bed) to stop my body from going into starvation mode while I sleep so my body doesn't start breaking down my muscles to fuel basic functions.” Overall her diet is “very repetitive,” she admits. “I follow a Legion Athletics meal plan that's customized to make sure I eat the right amount of fat, protein, carbs for my body type.”

Dancer and fitness guru Julianne Hough is giving fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at how intense—and very fun—training can be for the star. Hough, 35, shared a video of herself wearing black leggings and a matching crop top, during a dance rehearsal with the text “sounds dancers make” over the footage. “Whatever it takes, I guess! 🤷‍♀️,” she captioned the post. Hough is incredibly busy these days with hosting Dancing With the Stars—here’s how she stays fit and healthy.

1. Sleep and Nutrition

Hough loves spinning, hiking, weight training, and cardio, and obviously dance; frequently changing up her workouts depending on what her schedule looks like. “My rituals have to be slightly different,” she told Hamptons Magazine. “My biggest thing right now is I’m less concerned about [getting in] the right workout every day... Because I have so much movement in my life, the thing that I need right now is more sleep and healthy nutrition, so that is fueling me because I’m already moving a bunch. So I just look at it like, what is my life calling for right now?”

2. Morning Workouts

Hough makes a point of carving out time for herself first thing in the day. “A lot of people put work and other things before personal time but then are too exhausted at the end of the day to do anything for themselves,” she told PopSugar. “I believe that whatever it is you decide to do for yourself, whether it’s yoga, painting, or cooking, it’s best to do it in the morning so that you can feel inspired and energized for your day ahead. You can give more of yourself to your work and to others once you’ve given yourself some attention.”

3. Less Is More

Hough takes good care of her skin, and wears as little makeup as possible on a day-to-day basis. “I always start with skin, so my EltaMD sunscreen is really important to me,” she told Women’s Health. “I love lip balm, so Laneige is a lip balm that I really love. It's like a mask, it's so thick. I love making sure my environment is like, candles lit or incense burning, just to create the experience and get my mindset in a really calming way, so I can self-regulate before I get crazy again with work stuff.”

4. Blonde Hair Care Tips

The,Top,Of,A,Dish,Detergent,Bottle.Shutterstock

Hough is careful about the products she uses on her hair. “So here’s the lowdown. If you’re blonde, your hair tends to get a little brassy, so you can use a purple shampoo to revive your hue,” she told PopSugar. “But sometimes if you leave it in too long, your hair can turn slightly gray. In order to get that brassy color out, you can rinse your hair with some dish soap, and it'll cancel out that ashy hue. It’s not something I recommended doing often or in place of your shampoo, but it definitely helps in an emergency.

5. Her Own Wellness Brand

Hough started her wellness brand Kinrgy to help others with their health from a holistic standpoint. “The reason why I started Kinrgy in general was for my own growth and transformation and how dance really helped me with my own anxieties,” she told Women’s Health. “What it did for me, I wanted to share that with people. It gives permission to be fully expressed for your own unique version of who you are, that there is no right or wrong way to do anything. There is no perfection, it's about expression.”

Singer and TV presenter Michelle Heaton is on a roll with her fitness routine. Heaton, 44, shared a video of herself wearing black leggings and a matching tank top, doing a strength training workout at the gym. “Calling all my menopausal women out there..👊❤️Come train with me … 🙏🏻Did you know that any exercise at all in menopause will help keep your weight from constantly fluctuating, helping lower stress, anxiety, and depression, all of which tend to show up liberally during and beyond menopause. No matter what you choose to do, something is better than nothing ladies! You got this 💯,” she captioned the post. Here’s how Heaton stays fit and full of energy.

1. Bright Workout Gear

Heaton knows how important the right exercise wear is for comfort during a workout. “As a busy mum, I sometimes wear gym stuff all day, so it has to look cool, feel good to the touch and be durable and comfy,” she told Asda Good Living. “I think wearing brightly-colored clothing can lift your mood. Plus if you’re in a large exercise class, it makes it easier to spot yourself in the mirror and correct your positions. Wear the right sports bra for the exercise you do. For yoga, I wear a bra that leaves me free to do more, then one with more support for interval training and weights.”

2. Small Workouts When Possible

Heaton fits in smaller workouts when she doesn’t have time for her regular routine. "No time to work out? Find ways to fit exercise into your daily routine,” she told Asda Good Living. “You don’t have to do it all in one go – you could try lunges as you can vacuum then star jumps whilst you’re watching TV. A few mini-workouts a day will add up. One of the best ways that I stay motivated is by leaving my gym equipment out so that I can see it. So it's always in my trail of thought - no excuses!"

3. Early Morning Workouts

Heaton arranges her workouts around her children—the earlier in the day, the better. "I try my very best to go to the gym four or five times a week,” she told Your Healthy Living. “I force myself to work hard there because I know I haven’t got long and I have to get back to the kids. I tend to get up really early and get there for about 6 a.m. before the kids wake up. I like to keep fit… I’m noticing that my metabolism is slowing down and I can’t eat all the things I want to eat any more. I like to try and look my best because it makes me happy."

4. Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream

2019,7,29,Ny,Elizabeth,Arden,Eight,Hour,Cream,SkinShutterstock

Heaton is a big fan of cult beauty product Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream. “I always like to have Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream handy because it has so many uses,” she told Closer. “I use it as a lip balm, for cuts and grazes, I even use it on my hair, and it’s perfect for moisturizing skin when you’re on a flight. It’s always in my bag. I also use it on Faith [her daughter] when she grazes her skin, it’s really handy.”

5. Home Cooked Whole Foods

Heaton likes to cook at home from scratch. "We stay away from processed or starchy foods,” she told Your Healthy Living. “A typical day at home would begin with a smoothie made with blueberries and protein powder, then lunch would be an egg white omelet with a side salad and our evening meal would be some sort of protein with plenty of vegetables. I might have Greek yoghurt or a protein bar for a snack. We try to eat organic sometimes but as it can be expensive, it depends on our budget for the week."

Cullen shared some of her fitness secrets with VIP Magazine. She says that one way she works out consistently is by doing so in the morning. “I do my usual things, prep my gym gear for the morning, I get moving first thing when I wake up whether it be a walk, a run, a zoom class, yoga or just simple stretching. I find when you start your day off with some sort of movement this will help you keep you motivated.”

2. She Schedules Workouts

Cullen tells VIP Magazine that she likes to schedule workouts. “I also plan out my days, so for example it could be Monday run day, Tuesday mobility, Wednesday HIIT- get a little plan going. Set goals and little targets. I also keep in touch with my friends and we do things together. My friends now join my lives that I’m giving every Tuesday and Thursday so it’s helping them keep motivated because there is always one 100% committed and another not feeling motivated so the encouragement of others will always keep you going.”

Cullen shared some of her favorite workouts with VIP Magazine. “One thing I would recommend is mobility sessions/workouts as these are great for opening up your body, to get those important stretches in,” she said. “We aren’t moving a lot now with these restrictions so bodies can be tight. Hips and legs can feel so free with just some simple moves.”

4. She Does Bodyweight Workouts

Niamh Cullen.2Niamh Cullen/Instagram

Cullen is a big fan of bodyweight workouts. She tells Evoke, “The best kind of training is actually bodyweight training so for anyone who was used to going to the gym, doing their weights and strengths, there’s so much that you can do with bodyweight at home. There are exercises with a chair, you can do exercises with 2 liter bottles of water, you don’t actually need equipment, all you need is a nice space, some water, and a good playlist and you can really get going.”

5. She Uses A Stationary Bike

Niamh Cullen.3Niamh Cullen/Instagram

As you can see from her Instagram stories, Cullen uses a stationary bike to stay in shape. Penn State PRO Wellness states that using a stationary bike has a lot of health benefits. “Depending on the intensity of your workout and your body weight, you can burn more than 600 calories an hour with a stationary bike workout. This makes indoor cycling an excellent workout option for burning calories quickly.”

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
