Influencer Janna Breslin in Two-Piece Workout Gear is "Adorable"
Janna Breslin keeps her body in peak condition – in her two-piece workout gear. In a recent Instagram post, the influencer, fitness expert, and model playfully shared a video of herself taking on a giant obstacle course, jumping from one ball to another before tumbling into foam. Known for her self-deprecating humor and dedication to maintaining zero visceral fat, Breslin embraces a high-protein, whole-food-based diet and a fitness routine that keeps her in top form. Whether she's eating organ meats or avoiding processed foods, here are five ways Janna Breslin stays healthy and fit while ensuring her visceral fat remains at zero.
She's Self-Deprecating
In a recent Instagram video, Breslin is in a giant obstacle course, jumping from one ball to another before falling, diving headfirst in foam, wearing black spandex shorts and a pink tank top. "I was on the show Wipeout in 2011🤸🏻♀️ I don't think I've gotten any better," she wrote. " My neck hurts."
She Eats to Avoid Visceral Fat
A growing midsection is more unhealthy than you may realize. We all know too much fat is harmful, but extra pounds around your waistline are especially damaging healthwise because it indicates you have visceral fat. Unlike subcutaneous fat, you can feel and touch; you can't see visceral fat. It's hidden deep in your abdomen, and it wraps around your vital organs, leading to serious health issues like stroke, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease. Anyone can have visceral fat, and according to the Cleveland Clinic, "The normal visceral fat range should be about 10% of your body fat. You can figure out your visceral fat level by calculating your total body fat percentage and then taking off 10%. If your body fat percentage is higher than recommended, then your visceral fat range will be too." Visceral fat is caused by stress, poor diet, lack of exercise and not enough quality sleep and reducing the amount to a healthy level is important to maintain overall well-being. However, Breslin works hard to have zero visceral fat, and she does so through diet. She eats a lot of protein and whole foods.
She Eats Organ Meat
Breslin includes a lot of organ meat into her diet, like beef liver and hearts in stews, which she contributes to her having zero visceral fat. "Besides being more affordable than premium cuts of meat, organ meat is often higher in nutrients, too," per the Cleveland Clinic. "The amounts of vitamins and minerals depend on the organ and the animal. But in general, you can expect organ meat to be a good source of nutrients."
She Avoids Processed Foods
To maintain her healthy lifestyle, Breslin doesn't eat processed foods. In a social media post from earlier this year, she stated, "Today's modern diet leaves us overfed and undernourished. 🚫🥤🍔 The allure of ready-made, highly processed foods may be convenient, but their nutrient density falls disappointingly short." She added, "It's crucial to recognize that the big food industry's primary goal isn't our health; they aim to keep us coming back for more. Now more than ever is the time to reconsider our eating habits… prioritizing real, whole foods that provide genuine nourishment from within."
She Believes in a High Animal Protien Diet
After watching a documentary about veganism, Breslin wasn't convinced plant protein is better for you and did a Dexafit scan to show how eating an animal protein-rich diet was not unhealthy. On X, she posted her results.
VO2 max of 42
75% lean muscle mass
Body fat of 20.5%
ZERO visceral fat
Biological age 8 years younger than my actual age
Overall body composition score of an A+
She stated, "I was informed that scans like mine are rare, so I left with an ego larger than a bloated vegan belly full of beans… After undergoing the same tests as in the documentary, my data unequivocally proved to be optimal. My nearly flawless scan illustrates that a meat-heavy diet is my key to thriving, contradicting their narrative."
