Lauren Blake is getting her sweat on – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the influencer flaunts her fit figure in an ab-baring exercise set. “Full body burn to get the week started,” she captioned the Instagram Stories clip. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
1. Hiking
Lauren enjoys hiking. “California girl,” she captioned an Instagram photo of herself hiking near the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:
- Building stronger muscles and bones
- Improving your sense of balance
- Improving your heart health
- Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems
2. Reading
Lauren is a reader. “POV you get to the juicy part of the book 😂 I thought this video was funny because it’s a real reaction to what the book said and my videographer caught it,” she captioned a post. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.
3. Yoga
Lauren recently hosted a “Wellness Day” event for her HYDRA Electrolyte Powder. “Wellness day was a success!🥰💗 Thank you to everyone who came! Yoga class, meditation/sound bath, mobility class, cold plunge, facials, Botox & filler, and so much more! Bringing people together is one of my favorite things to do and in 2024 we are focusing on wellness and community so what better than to combine the two,” she captioned the post.
4. Skiing
In the winter, Lauren hits the slopes and skis. Research has linked downhill skiing to a number of health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress and the occurrence of memory deficits declines.
5. Strength Training
