Influencer Morgan Rose Moroney in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Glute and Hammy Workout"
Morgan Rose Moroney is working out her glutes – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the influencer shows off her famous backside during an exercise session, wearing a two-piece set. "Still feeling this very quick 20 min (mum life) glute & hammy workout, but I low key love the feeling of a tight lower body the next few days after a heavy session 😂🥲Three exercises, 4 sets & 10 reps, increasing weights each time 👏🏼🍑," she captioned the Instagram video. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
Swimming
Morgan is a swimmer. "Come swim some laps with me," she captioned a post. "Nothing feels much better than getting into the pool on a hot summer's day. I just love gliding through the water whilst working on slowing my breathing down and getting into a groove with my stroke. Movement comes in all forms and I think I'm going to lock in swimming laps at the local pool as one I do often while I can in this weather." Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.
Hiking
Morgan enjoys hiking. "St George = adventure wonderland," she captioned a series of Instagram snaps, hiking with a pal. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:
- Building stronger muscles and bones
- Improving your sense of balance
- Improving your heart health
- Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems
Yoga
Morgan does a lot of yoga. "Handstands around the world pt. 2 🤭🤸🏼♀️🫶Which one is your fav?" she captioned a post of herself in pose. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. "Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood," they said. "People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating."
Sauna
Morgan enjoys hot saunas. "In the afternoons that I'm not training or swimming, this is where I'll be 🥵❤️ @sunhomesaunas," she captioned a post. Should you take a dry sauna? While some claim the health benefits of saunas are plentiful, including detoxification, increased metabolism, weight loss, increased blood circulation, pain reduction, antiaging, skin rejuvenation, improved cardiovascular function, improved immune function, improved sleep, stress management, and relaxation, there isn't a lot of research backing up the claims.
Golf
Morgan is a golfer. "Come play 9 with us," she captioned a post from the golf course. A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.
