She Wants To Be Healthy

One of Attwood's wellness secrets is wanting to be healthy. She talked about this on her Instagram. "I want to feel fit and healthy. I want to feel good. After a week, I feel so much better. I want to be the best version of me. Self-care is so important. Friends come and go. You are with yourself 100% per cent of the time and you wouldn't want be around someone you didn't like so why don't we like yourselves?"

She Eats Fruit

Attwood makes sure to eat healthy. She shares a lot of her favorite foods and her restaurant orders on Instagram. Attwood is a big fan of fruit. In this photo series, she is enjoying a tray of watermelon slices, grapes, and oranges. The U.S. Department of Agriculture states that fruit has a lot of benefits. "Adding fruit can help increase the amount of fiber and potassium we eat. These are important nutrients that many people do not get enough of."

She Plays With Her Dog

Attwood has an adorable dog whom she prominently features on her Instagram. She makes sure to play and go on walks with them. In this photo series, Attwood is seen with her dog, captioning the post, "Life." Harvard Health states that having a pet, like a dog, has a lot of mental benefits. "Dog owners are less prone to bouts of loneliness, anxiety, and depression. Simply petting your dog can make you feel less stressed. One of the greatest benefits of owning a dog is that it encourages you to practice mindfulness — being in the present moment and fully appreciating life. Mindfulness can help you relieve stress and also improves your overall health."

She Mousturizes

"The most important times to use moisturizer are after a bath, shave or exfoliation. For some, this might be twice a day. Moisturizing after a shower is very important because hot water strips all the moisture and oils out of your skin, leaving it parched and dry. While hot water may be relaxing, it also wreaks havoc on your skin. Never skip the moisturizer," says UT Medical Center.

She Enjoys Sunshine

"That serotonin you soak up from the sun's rays does more than boost your mood – it might also help you get more restful sleep at night. Working in tandem with serotonin is melatonin, a chemical in your brain that lulls you into slumber and one that sun also helps your body produce. Suffering from insomnia? Try to stick to traditionally light and dark cycles, getting sunlight during the day so you can catch some zzz's at night," says TriCity Med.
