Country Music Star Jana Kramer Shares Swimsuit Photo on "Day to Recharge"

Here are her health and lifestyle tips.

Jana Kramer is clearly very ready to welcome her third child (and first with fiancé Allan Russell). The singer is enjoying a magical babymoon at the Southall Farm & Inn in Nashville, Tennessee. Kramer, 39, shared a picture of herself wearing an orange bikini and posing in a pool while cradling her baby bump. "A day to recharge and slow down," she captioned the post. "Stunning! You look so happy!" commented her long-time trainer Erin Oprea. Here are 5 ways Kramer stays fit, happy, and full of energy.

1

Personal Trainer Sessions

Kramer works out with Oprea—and the kids join in. "Working out has become a family workout so Erin uses it to train me but now she trains all four of us," she says. "The kids come out, they dance. We're all just having a good time and we make it fun for everybody. My daughter's doing the same stuff that I'm doing, just with no weights. But STRONG by Zumba it's great though because we're able to incorporate the music and they love dancing around."

Balanced Lifestyle

Kramer tries to balance out her diet and workouts to make room for treats. "I try to work out as much as I can, but sometimes I can only really do it three times a week," she says. "For me, it's typically strength training, a lot of squats. But honestly my trainer's like, 'We could train every day of the week. It doesn't matter. It has to be about healthy eating.' So I try to eat as healthy as I can. But she's been trying to get me off red wine and I was like, 'You can try until the day you die. I'm drinking wine every night.' It's just my thing. And I like to have a glass of wine at the end of the day just to wind down, no pun intended."

Less Is More

Kramer has a simple approach to beauty. "For me, I think less is more," she says. "I think confidence, a great smile, and I don't like the caked-on makeup look. I like something that's very natural and doesn't look like you took a long time getting ready. I think that's pretty. In the very beginning, I was always thought it was about how much makeup you have on. I don't do this anymore. I don't have the time or the energy."

Postpartum Body

Kramer is honest about getting in shape postpartum. "I think in the beginning it was hard just because every woman feels differently," she says. "Everyone looks different after giving birth. And I wanted to show my journey, but at the same time, I don't want women to be like, 'Oh my God. She's so much thinner after than I was.' Because again, every woman heals differently. Everyone's journey is different."

5

Country Girl

Kramer is happiest spending time in the country. "I like to be outdoors," she says. "I like to decompress. We're moving to Nashville and we built a screened-in porch. It just reminds me of Michigan, having the screened-in porch, being outside. So I wanted to really embrace that. Girlfriend time is huge for me. And then playing board games and card games is my love language. We have game nights and then I love to get all the girls together, drink some wine. I'm not a party girl. I would rather just have all my girlfriends over at my house snuggled up by the fire watching The Bodyguard."
