Although she's not exactly sharing her workouts oin Instagram, there have been a number of strategies that she reportedly uses. She Does Planks

Kate Middleton is reportedly a big fan of planks (or at least a fan of the results that come from planking). During her hour-long workouts, she will do a few different varieties of planking. She'll combine 3 forms; normal planks, side plain king, and sky dive plank. "This core-strength exercise is called the modified plank," says the Mayo Clinic:

  • "Lie on your stomach. Raise yourself up so that you're resting on your forearms and your knees. Align your head and neck with your back, and place your shoulders directly above your elbows. Tighten your abdominal muscles.
  • Create resistance by pressing your elbows and your knees toward one another. Neither should move from their positions on the floor. Hold for three deep breaths.
  • Return to the start position and repeat."

She Has Reportedly Tried the Dukan Diet

She has tried the Dukan Diet, but she loves a nice variety of food and isn't scared to try something adventurous like geoduck clams. The Dukan Diet generally consists of high protein and lower carb intake. "It may sound similar to Atkins, but the Dukan Diet is very different. Protein days are used for crucial strategic effect at each stage of the diet, and dieters are urged to stay clear of butter and oil that forms one of the mainstays of the Atkins regime," says one source.

She Enjoys Cardio

During her three pregnancies and after, she continued with a cardio and weight routine, working out on her own, without a trainer. She knows the importance of keeping herself healthy for her kids, so she always finds the time to run.

Kate does a few one off workouts to keep things exciting like cycling or using a Swiss gym ball. When it comes to staying slim, she also really enjoys doing yoga. Yoga is amazing for the body and has so many benefits. Have a fitness ball? "To do a squat and reach exercise with the fitness ball:

  • Hold the ball in front of you and bend your knees. Keep your back straight and your arms parallel to the floor. Don't let your knees extend beyond your feet.
  • Tighten your abdominal muscles.
  • Rotate your trunk and reach with the ball toward your left. Hold for three deep breaths.
  • Return to the starting position and repeat to the right.
  • Vary the exercise by holding the ball in a downward position or an upward position," says the Mayo Clinic.
