Richart follows a plant-based diet, and loves cooking her own food. “Plant-based diets offer all the necessary protein, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals for optimal health, and are often higher in fiber and phytonutrients,” says Katherine D. McManus, MS, RD, LDN. “However, some vegans may need to add a supplement (specifically vitamin B12) to ensure they receive all the nutrients required.”
2. Healthy Snacks
Richart loves nutritious snacks such as edamame (soybeans) and fresh fruit. “Soy products can be a part of a healthy eating pattern when eaten as an alternative to red meat or processed meats that are high on cholesterol and saturated fats and can increase your risk of heart disease,” says Arta Shirkhodai, MD, an internal medicine physician at Scripps Coastal Medical Center Vista.
3. She Meditates

Richart is a proponent of regular meditation sessions for health and happiness. “Today was such an amazing day✨ My friends and I visited the vortexes of Sedona, they are believed to be spiritual locations where the energy is right to facilitate prayer, meditation, and healing. Along the way we picked up some crystals. When we got there I sat as the sun was setting and had the most surreal meditation ever, I also cleansed and charged my new crystals. The vibes were immaculate,” she captioned an Instagram post.
4. Smoothie Bowls

Richart makes smoothie bowls with almond milk, bananas, apples, strawberries, and raspberries. "I would say it's a really easy way to get a lot of good fruits and vegetables. You can get a lot of nutrients packed into one little glass," says Mayo Clinic dietician Lorraine Fye, RDN, CNSC, IFNCP. "An unhealthy smoothie, it would be one that maybe is just all fruit or has a lot of fruit juice — one that's really laden with added sugar and that's not very balanced. The healthy smoothie — we're really looking for that balance. So you want good carbohydrates, good proteins and good healthy fats."
5. She’s Living That Libra Life

Richart is passionate about astrology, and research shows hobbies can beneficially impact health and wellness. “I’m a Libra. So I’m actually a double Libra,” she says. “My rising and my sun are in Libra and I feel like that shines through a lot, especially the art of seduction and my flirtatious side. I also feel like I find balance in everything, and I treat everyone fairly. My moon is in Pisces, so I can be really, really emotional too.”
