Lana Condor is living it up in Italy – in her swimsuit. The actress shows off her gorgeous body in a red bathing suit in one of her latest social media photos, taken during her Italian getaway. “Mostly food, a little champagne, but mostly food … I’m never leaving,” she captioned the Instagram post. How does the actress keep herself so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Lana Condor stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Hydrates

“I also drink at least half my body weight, in ounces, of water every day,” she told E! about the importance of hydration. “Staying hydrated is such a must- and I genuinely feel better when my body is fully hydrated.” According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

2. She Does HIIT Workouts

Elie Saab : Photocall - Paris Fashion Week - Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2023/2024Stephane Cardinale - Corbis/Corbis via Getty Images

Lana trains with Paolo Mascittii who works out with her at the gym five days a week, guiding her with cardio and high-intensity interval training like squats and lunges. While her workouts are grueling, “it's worth it, because now I have a booty,” she told Self. They also do exercises with a slam ball. “I hate it, but it's very effective,” she said. “If I'm having a bad day or I have a little aggression, slamming that ball down on the ground really helps me. It always makes me feel a lot better when it's finished.” There is a lot of research backing up the benefits of HIIT workouts, including body fat reduction, improved cardiovascular function, and mental health. It is also time effective.

3. She Prioritizes Mental Health

Mental health comes first, says Lana. “If my body is so sore and I need a day off, he's so understanding about that,” she said. “My mental health is the priority, and my mental health is always better when I am active. But sometimes when your body hurts, you're like, I can't do anything, I don't want to get up. And so he's very patient. If there's a day that I feel the need to be a little bit more gentle with myself, he's great.”

4. She Enjoys Group Fitness

Lana appreciates exercise classes. “I always do a little bit better in a class setting or in-person, just because I think that I have a competitive nature in workout classes,” she told Self. “So I feel like I can really hit it hard.” Pilates, boxing, and hot yoga sculpt classes are a few classes she likes.

5. She Eats in Moderation

Lana’s approach to diet is “to eat what makes you happy,” she told Bon Appetit. Her theory? Eat what you want but in moderation. “I’ve tried to take away noodles in my life, and it just doesn’t work—I’m miserable! I always think to myself, ‘Well, I could starve myself and go on a diet and be fucking miserable. But what if I die in a plane crash? Or, what if I have the most amazing meal of my life, and then I could still die in a plane crash, but at least I'd have a happy belly!”

Over the past few years, Sydney Sweeney has become one of America’s sweethearts with celebrated roles in everything from hit HBO shows Euphoria and White Lotus to big-screen movies Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Anyone But You. In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
