Lisa Barlow Stuns in New Bikini Photo

Here’s how she stays so fit.

Real Housewife Lisa Barlow basked poolside this week, confident in her swimsuit. How does she stay so fit? Despite her love for "healthy" food, she has confessed to indulging in junk and fast food. But: Proudly Mormon, she embrases authenticity and shared her life on TV, including her faith. In her swimsuit, with a big smile, Lisa Barlow exemplifies a woman who embrases her passions and priorities, whether they involve healthy choices or a love for putting yourself out there.

She Eats "A Lot" of "Healthy" Food

"I eat a lot too. A lot of people don't think I eat. I eat a lot. I eat healthy too. We used to own a five-star restaurant in Park City. Like, I have a good diet too," Lisa revealed on Watch What Happens Live. "What we always have in our fridge: milk, waters, flavored waters," she added. "You know I love my cheese. I live on cheese and chocolate, so we always have a lot of cheese, fresh-cut veggies — my kids [Jack and Henry] are nourished — and fresh salads."

But She Is Obsessed with Junk Food

Lisa's love of junk and fast food is infamous. She once revealed that she starts her day with four Kit Kat bars at 6:30 a.m. Her go-to drink is a "44-ounce Diet Coke, easy ice, with lemon," and she loves going through the drive-thru, especially Taco Bell and McDonald's. "I never really thought anything about my eating habits or my restaurant choices. When we went to the drive-through in season one, that was just us being us. So it surprised me that it was such a thing with the audience. I think that when people see Housewives, they think, Oh, they're just eating lettuce and kale and omitting every carb from their diet, and maybe some do. But I think any mom that's on the go probably is doing the same thing I'm doing," she told The Cut.

She Skis

One way Lisa stays in shape is by skiing. In the winter, you can usually find her hitting the slopes with her family. Research has linked downhill skiing to a number of health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress and the occurrence of memory deficits declines.

Because she consumes so many sweets, oral hygiene is a top priority for Lisa. "We have a big sweet tooth in my family. We can't live without our Diet Coke and candy. We love that it's natural, strengthens enamel and prevents cavities. I also like that they offer different flavors for daytime and nighttime. They have a wide variety and options for the whole family. Your smile is so important and one of the first things people see when they meet you (prior to COVID/mask wearing) and dental hygiene is so important to me," she told E! News about her favorite toothpaste, Hello.

She Is Mormon

"I think the biggest thing for me is I'm authentic to myself," Lisa told the Today show. "I love the religion I choose — religion is a choice — and I choose to be LDS. And for me, I think it's important that — that's a part of my life and I'm on TV and I committed to sharing my life, and that's a big part of it. So I'm completely comfortable with it. If someone else is uncomfortable, I can't really do anything about that. I'm very comfortable with it."
